< Job 17 >

1 My breath is exhausted; My days are at an end; The grave is ready for me.
Hagi hanavenimo'a evuramigeno, knani'amo'a eme upa nehigeno, vahe'ma asente matimo'a navega anteno me'ne.
2 Are not revilers before me? And doth not my eye dwell upon their provocations?
Hagi nagri'ma huhaviza hunenantaza vahe'mo'za nazeri kagi'za mani'ne'za, hunte'za ki'za zokago kea hunenantazage'na mani'ne'na nezmagoe.
3 Give a pledge, I pray thee; be thou a surety for me with thee; Who is he that will strike hands with me?

4 Behold, thou hast blinded their understanding; Therefore thou wilt not suffer them to prevail.

5 He who delivereth up his friends as a prey, —The eyes of his children shall fail.

6 He made me the by-word of the people; Yea, I have become their abhorrence.

7 My eye therefore is dim with sorrow, And all my limbs are as a shadow.
Hanki zavi'ma atoa zamo higeno navumo'a zorege'na, nagra oza'oza hu'na vahe amema'agna nehue.
8 Upright men will be astonished at this, And the innocent will rouse themselves against the wicked.
Hagi fatgo zamavu'zmava'ma nehaza vahe'mo'za ama anazama nege'za, antri hu'za zamagogogu nehazage'za, hazenke'zmima omne vahe'mo'za Anumzamofoma amage'ma nontaza vahera ha' renezmantaze.
9 The righteous will also hold on his way, And he that hath clean hands will gather strength.
Ana nehu'za fatgo zamavu'zma'ma nehaza vahe'mo'za rukrahera osu, fatgo zamavu'zmavama nehaza vahe'mo'za zamavu'zmavara hu'za nevazageno, zamazampima pehena okamare maka zupa fatgo avu'ava'ma hu'zampina hage'za mareneri'za ome hankaveti'za nevaze.
10 But as for you all, return, I pray! I find not yet among you one wise man.
Hianagi mika'mota atreta rukrahe huta eho, tamagri amu'nompina knare antahi'zane vahera hakre'na eri forera osu'noe.
11 My days are at an end; My plans are broken off; Even the treasures of my heart.

12 Night hath become day to me; The light bordereth on darkness.

13 Yea, I look to the grave as my home; I have made my bed in darkness. (Sheol h7585)

14 I say to the pit, Thou art my father! And to the worm, My mother! and, My sister!
Hagi fri vahe matiku'ma hu'na kagra nenfage nehu'na, hagirafagu'ma hu'na, kagra nenrerage hu'na huge, nensarogema huasina knare hisine.
15 Where then is my hope? Yea, my hope, who shall see it?
Hagi amuha zani'a iga me'ne? Iza amuha zani'a hakeno eri fore hugahie.
16 It must go down to the bars of the under-world, As soon as there is rest for me in the dust. (Sheol h7585)
