Job 16
1 But Job answered and said:
౧అందుకు యోబు ఇలా జవాబు ఇచ్చాడు,
2 Of such things as these I have heard enough! Miserable comforters are ye all!
౨“ఇలాంటి మాటలు నేను అనేకం విన్నాను. మీరంతా ఆదరించడానికి కాదు, బాధ పెట్టడానికి వచ్చినట్టున్నారు.
3 Will there ever be an end to words of wind? What stirreth thee up, that thou answerest?
౩నువ్వు చెబుతున్న గాలిమాటలు చాలిస్తావా? నాకిలా జవాబివ్వడానికి నీకేం బాధ కలిగింది?
4 I also might speak like you, If ye were now in my place; I might string together words against you, And shake my head at you.
౪నా దుస్థితి మీకు పట్టి ఉంటే నేను కూడా మీలాగా మాట్లాడేవాణ్ణి. మీ మీద లేనిపోని మాటలు కల్పిస్తూ నా తల ఆడిస్తూ మీవైపు చూసేవాణ్ణి.
5 I would strengthen you with my mouth, And the consolation of my lips should sustain you.
౫అయినప్పటికీ నేను మిమ్మల్ని ఓదార్చి ధైర్యపరిచేవాణ్ణి. నా ఆదరణ వాక్కులతో మిమ్మల్ని బలపరిచేవాణ్ణి.
6 If I speak, my grief is not assuaged; And if I forbear, it doth not leave me.
౬ఇప్పుడు నేను ఎన్ని మాటలు మాట్లాడినా దుఃఖం తీరదు, అలాగని మౌనంగా ఉన్నా నాకెలాంటి ఉపశమనం కలగదు.
7 For now He hath quite exhausted me; Thou hast desolated all my house!
౭దేవుడు నాకు ఆయాసం కలగజేశాడు. దేవా, నా బంధువర్గమంతటినీ నువ్వు నాశనం చేశావు.
8 Thou hast seized hold of me, and this is a witness against me; My leanness riseth up and testifieth against me to my face.
౮నా శరీరమంతా బక్కచిక్కిపోయింది. క్షీణించిపోయి, మడతలు పడిన నా చర్మం నాకు వ్యతిరేకంగా సాక్ష్యమిస్తున్నది.
9 His anger teareth my flesh, and pursueth me; He gnasheth upon me with his teeth; My adversary sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
౯ఆయన కళ్ళు నా మీద కోపంతో ఎర్రబడ్డాయి. నన్ను చూసి పళ్ళు కొరుకుతూ నా మీద పడి నాతో యుద్ధం చేశాడు.
10 They gape for me with their mouths; In scorn they smite me on the cheek; With one consent they assemble against me.
౧౦మనుషులు నన్ను ఎత్తి పొడవడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నారు. వాళ్ళ తిట్లు నాకు చెంపపెట్టులాంటివి. వాళ్ళంతా ఏకమై నాకు వ్యతిరేకంగా సమకూడుతున్నారు.
11 God hath given me a prey to the unrighteous, And delivered me into the hands of the wicked.
౧౧దేవుడు నన్ను దుర్మార్గులకు అప్పగించాడు. భక్తిహీనుల ఆధీనంలో నన్ను బంధించి ఉంచాడు.
12 I was at ease, but he hath crushed me; He hath seized me by the neck, and dashed me in pieces; He hath set me up for his mark.
౧౨నేను మౌనంగా ఉండిపోయాను. ఆయన నన్ను ముక్కలు ముక్కలు చేశాడు. నా మెడ పట్టుకుని విదిలించి నన్ను చిందరవందర చేశాడు. నన్ను గురిగా చేసుకుని వేధిస్తున్నాడు.
13 His archers encompass me around; He pierceth my reins, and doth not spare; He poureth out my gall upon the ground.
౧౩ఆయన వేసే బాణాలు నా దేహమంతా గుచ్చుకుంటున్నాయి. ఆయన నా మూత్రపిండాలను పొడిచివేశాడు. జాలి, దయ లేకుండా నన్ను వేధిస్తున్నాడు. నాలోని పైత్యరసాన్ని నేలపై కక్కించాడు.
14 He breaketh me with breach upon breach; He rusheth upon me like a warrior.
౧౪దెబ్బ మీద దెబ్బ వేసి నన్ను విరగగొడుతున్నాడు. యుద్ధ వీరుని వలే పరుగెత్తుకుంటూ వచ్చి నా మీద పడ్డాడు.
15 I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, And thrust my horn into the dust.
౧౫నా చర్మానికి గోనెపట్ట కప్పుకుని కూర్చున్నాను. నా దేహమంతా బూడిద పోసుకుని మురికి చేసుకున్నాను.
16 My face is red with weeping, And upon my eyelids is deathlike darkness.
౧౬నేను ఎవ్వరికీ కీడు తలపెట్టలేదు. నేను చేసే ప్రార్థన పరిశుద్ధం.
17 Yet is there no injustice in my bands. And my prayer hath been pure.
౧౭ఏడ్చి ఏడ్చి నా ముఖం ఎర్రబడిపోయింది. నా కంటిరెప్పల మీద మరణాంధకారం తేలియాడుతున్నది.
18 O earth! cover not thou my blood, And let there be no hiding-place for my cry!
౧౮భూమీ, ఒలుకుతున్న నా రక్తాన్ని కనబడనియ్యి. నేను పెడుతున్న మొరలు ఎప్పుడూ వినిపిస్తూ ఉండాలి.
19 Yet even now, behold, my witness is in heaven, And he who knoweth me is on high.
౧౯ఇప్పటికీ నా తరుపు సాక్షి పరలోకంలో ఉన్నాడు. నా పక్షంగా వాదించేవాడు ఆయన సమక్షంలో ఉన్నాడు.
20 My friends have me in derision, But my eye poureth out tears unto God.
౨౦నా స్నేహితులు నన్ను ఎగతాళి చేస్తున్నారు. నా కళ్ళు దేవుని కోసం కన్నీళ్లు కారుస్తున్నాయి.
21 O that one might contend for a man with God, As a man contendeth with his neighbor!
౨౧ఒక వ్యక్తి తన స్నేహితుని కోసం బ్రతిమిలాడినట్టు నా కోసం దేవుణ్ణి వేడుకునే ఒక మనిషి నాకు కావాలి.
22 For when a few years shall have passed, I shall go the way whence I shall not return.
౨౨ఇంకా కొన్ని సంవత్సరాలు గడచిన తరువాత నేను తిరిగిరాని దారిలో వెళ్ళిపోతాను.
