Job 16
1 But Job answered and said:
तब अय्यूबले जवाफ दिए र भने,
2 Of such things as these I have heard enough! Miserable comforters are ye all!
“धेरै यस्ता कुराहरू मैले सुनेको छु । सान्वना दिने तपाईंहरू सबैले दुःख दिनुहुन्छ ।
3 Will there ever be an end to words of wind? What stirreth thee up, that thou answerest?
के व्यर्थका शब्दहरू कहिल्यै अन्त्य हुन्छन् कि? तपाईंहरूलाई के भयो जसले गर्दा तपाईंहरू यसरी जवाफ दिनुहुन्छ?
4 I also might speak like you, If ye were now in my place; I might string together words against you, And shake my head at you.
तपाईंहरू ठाउँमा हुनुहुन्थ्यो भने, तपाईंहरूले बोलेझैं म पनि बोल्न सक्थें, तपाईंहरूको विरुद्धमा शब्दहरू जम्मा गर्न र मिलाउन सक्थें, र गिल्ला गर्दै मेरो शिर हल्लाउन सक्थें ।
5 I would strengthen you with my mouth, And the consolation of my lips should sustain you.
मेरो मुखले तपाईंहरूलाई बलियो पार्थें, र मेरो ओठको बरबरले तपाईंहरूलाई राहत ल्याउँथें ।
6 If I speak, my grief is not assuaged; And if I forbear, it doth not leave me.
मैले बोल्दा त मेरो शोक कम हुँदैन । मैले बोल्न छाडें भने मलाई कसरी मदत हुन्छ?
7 For now He hath quite exhausted me; Thou hast desolated all my house!
तर हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंले मलाई थकित पार्नुभएको छ । तपाईंले मेरा सबै परिवारलाई सर्वनाश पार्नुभएको छ ।
8 Thou hast seized hold of me, and this is a witness against me; My leanness riseth up and testifieth against me to my face.
तपाईंले मलाई सुक्खा पार्नुभएको छ, जसले मेरो विरुद्धमा साक्षी दिन्छ । मेरो शरीरको दुब्लोपन मेरो विरुद्धमा खडा हुन्छ, र यसले मेरो अनुहारको विरुद्धमा साक्षी दिन्छ ।
9 His anger teareth my flesh, and pursueth me; He gnasheth upon me with his teeth; My adversary sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
परमेश्वर क्रोधमा उहाँले मलाई टुक्रा पार्नुभएको, र मलाई सताउनुभएको छ । क्रोधमा उहाँले आफ्नो दाह्रा किट्नुहुन्छ । मेरो शत्रुले मलाई घुरेर हेर्नुहुन्छ ।
10 They gape for me with their mouths; In scorn they smite me on the cheek; With one consent they assemble against me.
मानिसहरूले मलाई हेर्दै मुख खोलेर टोलाएका छन् । निन्दाले भरिएर तिनीहरूले मलाई गालामा थप्पड हानेका छन् । तिनीहरू मेरो विरुद्धमा एकसाथ भेला भएका छन्।
11 God hath given me a prey to the unrighteous, And delivered me into the hands of the wicked.
परमेश्वरले मलाई ईश्वरहीन मानिसहरूका हातमा दिनुहुन्छ, र मलाई दुष्ट मानिसहरूका हातमा फाल्नुहुन्छ ।
12 I was at ease, but he hath crushed me; He hath seized me by the neck, and dashed me in pieces; He hath set me up for his mark.
म चैनमा थिएँ, अनि उहाँले मलाई लुछ्नुभयो । वास्तवमा, उहाँले मलाई गलहत्त्याउनुभएको र टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्नुभएको छ । उहाँले मलाई आफ्नो निसाना पनि बनाउनुभएको छ ।
13 His archers encompass me around; He pierceth my reins, and doth not spare; He poureth out my gall upon the ground.
उहाँका धनुर्धारीहरूले मेरो चारैतिर घेरा हाल्छन् । परमेश्वरले मेरा मिर्गौला छेड्नुहुन्छ, र मलाई छोड्नुहुन्न । उहाँले मेरो पित्त भुइँमा पोख्नुहुन्छ ।
14 He breaketh me with breach upon breach; He rusheth upon me like a warrior.
उहाँले बारम्बार मेरो भित्तामा हिर्काउनुहुन्छ । एक जना लडाकुले झैं उहाँले मलाई झम्टिनुहुन्छ ।
15 I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, And thrust my horn into the dust.
आफ्नो शरीर ढाक्नलाई मैले भाङ्ग्रा सिएको छु । मैले आफ्नो टाउकोलाई भुइँमा गाडेको छु ।
16 My face is red with weeping, And upon my eyelids is deathlike darkness.
रुँदा-रुँदा मेरो अनुहार रातो भएको छ । मेरो आँखाको वरिपरि मृत्युको छाया छ,
17 Yet is there no injustice in my bands. And my prayer hath been pure.
जबकि मेरा हातमा कुनै हिंसा छैन र मेरो प्रार्थना शुद्ध छ ।
18 O earth! cover not thou my blood, And let there be no hiding-place for my cry!
ए पृथ्वी, मेरो रगतलाई नछोप । मेरो रोदनले विश्राम नपाओस् ।
19 Yet even now, behold, my witness is in heaven, And he who knoweth me is on high.
अहिले पनि मेरो साक्षी स्वर्गमा हुनुहुन्छ । मलाई स्याबासी दिनुहुने उच्चमा हुनुहुन्छ ।
20 My friends have me in derision, But my eye poureth out tears unto God.
मेरा मित्रहरूले मलाई खिसी गर्छन्, तर मेरो आँखाले परमेश्वरमा आँसु बगाउँछ ।
21 O that one might contend for a man with God, As a man contendeth with his neighbor!
मानिसले आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई गरेझैं, स्वर्गमा हुनुभएको त्यो साक्षीलाई यस मानिसको पक्षमा परमेश्वरसित बहस गरिदिन म बिन्ती गर्छु ।
22 For when a few years shall have passed, I shall go the way whence I shall not return.
किनकि जब केही वर्ष बितेर जान्छ, तब म त्यस्तो ठाउँमा जानेछु, जहाँबाट म फर्कनेछैनँ ।
