Job 14
1 Man, that is born of woman, Is of few days, and full of trouble.
১তিৰোতাৰ পৰা জন্ম পোৱা যি মনুষ্য, তেওঁ অলপদিনীয়া আৰু দুখেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ।
2 He cometh forth as a flower, and is cut down; He fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.
২তেওঁ ফুলৰ দৰে ফুলে, আৰু জঁয় পৰে; তেওঁ ছাঁৰ দৰে অলপ সময়ৰ বাবে থাকে আৰু নাইকিয়া হয়, স্থিৰ হৈ নাথাকে;
3 And dost thou fix thine eyes upon such a one? And dost thou bring me into judgment with thee?
৩এনে লোকলৈ তুমি চকু মেলি চাইছা? আৰু মোক তোমাৰ লগত বিচাৰস্থানলৈ লৈ গৈছা?
4 Who can produce a clean thing from an unclean? Not one.
৪অশুচিৰ পৰা শুচি কোনে উলিয়াব পাৰে? কোনেও নোৱাৰে।
5 Seeing that his days are determined, And the number of his months, with thee, And that thou hast appointed him bounds which he cannot pass,
৫তেওঁৰ আয়ুসৰ দিন নিশ্চয় কৰা হ’ল, তেওঁৰ মাহৰ সংখ্যা তুমি জানি আছা, আৰু তেওঁ পাৰ হ’ব নোৱাৰাকৈ তুমি তেওঁৰ সীমা স্থাপন কৰিলা;
6 O turn thine eyes from him, and let him rest, That he may enjoy, as a hireling, his day!
৬ভাড়াতীয়লোকৰ দৰে তেওঁ নিজৰ দিন পূৰ্ণ নকৰালৈকে, তেওঁ জিৰণী পাবলৈ তুমি তেওঁৰ পৰা চকু আঁতৰাই নিয়া।
7 For there is hope for a tree, If it be cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender branches will not fail;
৭কিয়নো গছৰ আশা আছে, তাক কাটিলেও সি আকৌ পোখা মেলে, আৰু তাৰ কোমল গজালিৰ অভাৱ নহয়।
8 Though its root may have grown old in the earth, And though its trunk be dead upon the ground,
৮যদি মাটিত তাৰ শিপা বুঢ়া হয়, আৰু ভুমিত তাৰ মূঢ়াতো মৰে,
9 Through the scent of water it will bud, And put forth boughs, like a young plant.
৯তথাপি পানীৰ গোন্ধ পালে তাৰ গজালি ওলায়, আৰু নতুনকৈ ৰোৱা গছপুলিৰ দৰে ডাল-পাত মেলে।
10 But man dieth, and he is gone! Man expireth, and where is he?
১০কিন্তু মানুহ মৰে আৰু ক্ষয় পায়; মনুষ্যই প্ৰাণত্যাগ কৰিলে, পুনৰ ক’ত থাকিব?
11 The waters fail from the lake; And the stream wasteth and drieth up;
১১যেনেকৈ জলাহৰ পানী ঢুকাই যায়, আৰু নৈৰ পানী শুকাই সম্পূৰ্ণৰূপে নাইকিয়া হয়,
12 So man lieth down, and riseth not; Till the heavens be no more, he shall not awake, Nor be roused from his sleep.
১২তেনেকৈ মানুহ মৰিলে পুনৰ নুঠে, আকাশ-মণ্ডল লুপ্ত নহয়মানে তেওঁলোকে সাৰ নাপায়, আৰু তেওঁলোকক নিদ্ৰাৰ পৰা জগোৱা নহয়।
13 O that thou wouldst hide me in the under-world! That thou wouldst conceal me till thy wrath be past! That thou wouldst appoint me a time, and then remember me! (Sheol h7585)
১৩অস, তুমি মোক চিয়োলত লুকুৱাই থোৱা হ’লে, তোমাৰ ক্ৰোধ মাৰ নাযোৱালৈকে মোক গুপ্তকৈ ৰখা হলে, তুমি মোৰ কাৰণে এটা সময় নিৰূপণ কৰি, মোক সোঁৱৰণ কৰা হ’লে, কেনে ভাল আছিল! (Sheol h7585)
14 If a man die, can he live again? All the days of my war-service would I wait, Till my change should come.
১৪যদি কোনো মানুহ মৰে, তেনেহলে তেওঁ কি পুনৰায় জীব নে? যদি জীয়ে, তেনেহলে মোৰ মুক্তিৰ দিন নহালৈকে, মই মোৰ ক্লান্তিৰ সময়খিনি বাট চায় থাকিম।
15 Thou wilt call, and I will answer thee; Thou wilt have compassion upon the work of thy hands!
১৫তেতিয়া তুমি মাতিবা, আৰু মই উত্তৰ দিম; তেতিয়া তুমি তোমাৰ হাতে কৰা কৰ্মলৈ হাবিয়াহ কৰিবা।
16 But now thou numberest my steps; Thou watchest over my sins.
১৬কিন্তু এতিয়া তুমি মোৰ ভৰিৰ খোজকো হিচাব কৰিছা; তুমি মোৰ পাপলৈ জানো চকু দি থকা নাই?
17 My transgression is sealed up in a bag; Yea, thou addest unto my iniquity.
১৭মোৰ অধৰ্ম থৈলাত বন্ধ কৰি মোহৰ মৰা হৈছে, আৰু তুমি মোৰ অপৰাধ মোনাত ভৰাই বান্ধি থৈছা।
18 As the mountain falling cometh to nought, And the rock is removed from its place;
১৮কিন্তু পৰ্ব্বতো পৰি যায় আৰু নাইকিয়া হয়; আনকি বৃহৎ শিলকো নিজ ঠাইৰ পৰা আতৰোৱা হয়।
19 As the waters wear away the stones, And the floods wash away the dust of the earth, So thou destroyest the hope of man.
১৯পানীয়ে শিলবোৰকো ক্ষয় নিয়ায়, তাৰ ধল উঠি আহি পৃথিবীৰ মাটি খহাই লৈ যায়; সেইদৰে তুমি মানুহৰ আশাকো ভাঙি দিয়া।
20 Thou prevailest against him continually, and he perisheth; Thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away.
২০তুমি তেওঁক একেবাৰে মৰমান্তিক আঘাত কৰাত, তেওঁ লোকান্তৰলৈ যায়। তুমি তেওঁৰ মুখ বিকৃত কৰি তেওঁক পঠাই দিয়া।
21 His sons come to honor, but he knoweth it not; Or they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not.
২১তেওঁৰ পুতেকবোৰ মৰ্য্যদাৱন্ত হলেও, তেওঁ সেই বিষয়ে নাজানে; আনকি সিহঁতৰ অৱস্থা হীন হলেও, তেওঁ তাৰ বিষয়ে গম নাপায়।
22 But his flesh shall have pain for itself alone; For itself alone shall his soul mourn.
২২কিন্তু তেওঁৰ নিজ শৰীৰে বেদনা পায়, আৰু তেওঁৰ অন্তৰত থকা হৃদয়ে শোক কৰে।”
