Jeremiah 25
1 The word which came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, which was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon;
१यहूदातील सर्व लोकांबद्दल यिर्मयाकडे आलेले वचन, ते असे, यहूदाचा राजा योशीया, याचा मुलगा, यहोयाकीम याच्या कारकिर्दीच्या चौथ्या वर्षी, हे बाबेलचा राजा नबुखद्नेस्सर ह्याच्या पाहिल्या वर्षात,
2 which Jeremiah the prophet spake to all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying: —
२यहूदा लोकांस आणि यरूशलेमधील राहणाऱ्यांना यिर्मया संदेष्ट्याने पुढील संराष्ट्र घोषीत केला:
3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah, even to this day, for three and twenty years, the word of Jehovah hath come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
३यहूदाचा राजा आमोन ह्याचा मुलगा योशीया ह्याच्या कारकिर्दीच्या तेराव्या वर्षापासून तर गेली तेवीस वर्षे परमेश्वराचे वचन माझ्याकडे येत आले आहे, मी तेव्हापासून आजपर्यंत तुम्हास ते ऐकवित आलो. पण तुम्ही ऐकले नाही आणि लक्ष दिले नाही.
4 Also Jehovah hath sent to you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
४परमेश्वराने, त्याच्या सेवकांना संदेष्ट्यांना पुन्हा पुन्हा तुमच्याकडे पाठवले, ते बाहेर जाण्यासाठी उत्सुक होते, पण तुम्ही त्यांचे ऐकले नाही. तुम्ही त्यांच्याकडे लक्षसुद्धा दिले नाही.
5 “Turn ye now,” said they, “every one from your evil way, and from your evil doings, and ye shall dwell in the land which Jehovah gave to you and to your fathers for ever and ever.
५ते संदेष्टे म्हणाले, “प्रत्येक मनुष्य आपल्या वाईट कृत्यांपासून, आपल्या कर्माच्या दुष्टतेपासून फिरा, आणि जे राष्ट्र परमेश्वराने तुम्हास आणि तुमच्या पूर्वजांना कायमचा राहण्यास दिला, त्यामध्ये जा.
6 And go not after strange gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the work of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.”
६म्हणून दुसऱ्या दैवतांना अनुसरायला आणि त्यांना पाया पडायला त्यांच्या मागे जाऊ नका आणि तुम्ही त्यास आपल्या हातांच्या कामाने मला राग आणू नका, म्हणजे मी तुमचे काही वाईट करणार नाही.”
7 But ye have not hearkened to me, saith Jehovah, that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.
७परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “पण तुम्ही माझे ऐकले नाहीत, आणि तुम्हावर अरिष्ट यावे म्हणून तुम्ही आपल्या हातांच्या कामाने मला राग आणून दिला.”
8 Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Because ye have not hearkened to my words,
८सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, पाहा! “तुम्ही माझ्या संदेशाकडे लक्ष दिले नाही.
9 behold, I will send and take all the nations of the North, saith Jehovah, and Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and a perpetual desolation.
९म्हणून मी लवकरच उत्तरेकडील कुळांना आणि बाबेलचा राजा नबुखद्नेस्सर, या देशाविरूद्ध आणि त्यातील सर्व राहणाऱ्यांविरूद्ध, तुझ्या भोवती असणाऱ्या राष्ट्रांविरूद्ध बोलावून घेईन. परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, कारण मी त्यांना नाश करण्यासाठी ठेवीण. आणि त्यांना विस्मय व फूत्कार व सर्व काळ ओसाड असे करीन.
10 Yea, I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the mill-stones, and the light of the lamp.
१०त्या ठिकाणच्या सुखाच्या व आनंदाच्या कल्लोळांचा मी शेवट करीन. तेथे नव वर वधूचा सुखाचा शब्द उमटणार नाही, जात्यांचा आवाज येणार नाही आणि दिव्यातला प्रकाश नाहीसा होईल असे मी करीन.
11 And this whole land shall be a desolation and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
११आणि ती सगळी भूमी वैराण व वाळवंट होईल, आणि ही राष्ट्रे सत्तर वर्षांपर्यंत बाबेलाच्या राजाचे दास होतील.
12 But when seventy years shall have passed, I will punish the king of Babylon and his nation for their iniquity, saith Jehovah, and the land of the Chaldaeans, and I will make it a perpetual desolation.
१२परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, आणि असे होईल सत्तर वर्षे संपल्यावर, मी बाबेलाच्या राजाला आणि त्या राष्ट्राला आणि खास्द्यांच्या देशाला त्यांच्या दुष्कृत्यांमुळे शिक्षा करीन.” त्या भूमीचे रुपांतर कायमच्या वाळवंटात करीन.
13 And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.
१३आणि त्या देशाविरूद्ध जी काही वचने मी बोललो, म्हणजे जे काही या पुस्तकात लिहीले आहे, जे सगळ्या राष्ट्रांविषयी यिर्मयाने भविष्य सांगितले ते मी त्यांच्यावर आणीन.
14 For they, even they, shall be brought into subjection to many nations and great kings. I will render to them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.
१४त्यांना राष्ट्रांचे आणि मोठ्या राजांचे दास्य करावे लागेल. त्यांच्या कृत्यांबद्दल योग्य अशीच शिक्षा त्यांना मी देईन.
15 For thus hath Jehovah, the God of Israel, said to me: Take this cup of the wine of wrath from my hand; and let all the nations to which I shall send thee drink of it.
१५कारण परमेश्वर, इस्राएलाचा देव, त्याने मला हे सांगितले: “माझ्या हातातील क्रोधाच्या द्राक्षरसाचा प्याला घे आणि मी तुला पाठवतो त्या सर्व राष्ट्रांना हा द्राक्षरस प्यायला लाव.
16 Let them drink, and stagger, and become mad because of the sword which I am about to send among them.
१६कारण ते हा द्राक्षरस पितील आणि जी तलवार मी त्यांच्यामध्ये पाठवीन तिच्यामुळे ते मागेपुढे डोलतील व वेड्याप्रमाणे वागतील.”
17 So I took the cup from the hand of Jehovah, and gave it to all the nations to drink, to which Jehovah sent me;
१७मग मी परमेश्वराच्या हातातून द्राक्षरसाचा प्याला घेतला. देवाने मला पाठवलेल्या त्या सर्व राष्ट्रांत मी प्यायला लावला.
18 to Jerusalem and to the cities of Judah, and to the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, and an astonishment, and a hissing, and a curse; [[as it is this day.]]
१८यरूशलेम, यहूदा शहर आणि तिच्यातील राजे आणि नेते यांना मी तो प्याला दिला, म्हणजे वैराण, विस्मय व वाळवंट, आणि फुत्कार व शाप असे होतील.
19 To Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and to his servants, and to his princes, and to all his people,
१९दुसऱ्या राष्ट्रांनाही तो प्यावा लागेल, मी मिसरच्या राजा फारो, त्याच्या अधिकाऱ्यांना, त्याच्या सेवकांना, आणि त्याच्या लोकांस,
20 and all the allied people; and to all the kings of the land of Uz, and to all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and to Askelon, and to Gaza, and to Ekron, and to the remnant of Ashdod;
२०मी सर्व मिश्रित लोक, अरब व ऊस देशातील राजे, पलिष्ट्यांच्या देशातील सर्व राजे, अष्कलोन, गज्जा, एक्रोन व अश्दोद शहरामधील उरलेले अशा सर्व राजांना त्या प्याल्यातून द्राक्षरस पिण्यास भाग पाडले.
21 to Edom, and to Moab, and to the children of Ammon;
२१आणि अदोम, मवाब व अम्मोन यामधील राजांनाही द्राक्षरस प्यायला लावले.
22 and to all the kings of Tyre, and to all the kings of Sidon, and to the kings of the lands which are beyond the sea;
२२आणखी सोरच्या व सीदोनाचे सर्व राजे, समूद्राच्या दुसऱ्या बाजूस असणारे सर्व राजे,
23 to Dedan, and to Tema, and to Buz, and to all that shave the cheek;
२३आणि ददान, तेमा व बूज केसांच्या या कडा कापलेले सर्व लोक,
24 and to all the kings of Arabia, and to all the kings of the allied people who dwell in the desert;
२४अरबस्तानातील सर्व राजे, व जे मिश्रित लोक रानांत राहतात त्यांचे सर्व राजे,
25 and to all the kings of Zimri, and to all the kings of Elam, and to all the kings of Media;
२५आणि जिमरी, एलाम व माद्य येथील सर्व राजे,
26 and to all the kings of the North, those that are near, and those that are afar off with respect to each other, and to all the kingdoms of the earth which are upon the face of the ground; and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
२६उत्तरेकडील सर्व, दूरच्या व जवळचे राजे या सर्वांना, या पृथ्वीवर असणारे सर्व, आपल्या राज्यांसहीत, भावांसहीत, त्या सर्वांना मी तो प्याला प्या प्यायला लावला आहे. पण बाबेलचा राजा, त्या सर्वांच्या नंतर या प्याल्यातून पिईल.
27 And say to them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink ye and be drunken, and vomit, and fall to rise no more because of the sword which I am about to send among you.
२७“परमेश्वर मला म्हणाला, यिर्मया, तू त्यांना असे सांग, सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, इस्राएलचा देव म्हणतो: प्या आणि त्यामुळे झिंगा आणि वांत्या करा, पडा आणि मी पाठवत असलेली तलवार येण्यापर्यंत परत उठू नका.
28 And if they refuse to take the cup from thy hand to drink, then say to them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Ye shall surely drink!
२८मग ते तुझ्या हातातून प्यायला पिण्यास तयार नसतील तर, तू त्यांना असे सांग सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, तुम्ही खरोखरच या प्याल्यातून पिणारच.
29 For behold, upon the city which is called by my name I begin to bring evil; and shall ye go wholly unpunished? Ye shall not go unpunished; for I am about to call the sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith Jehovah of hosts.
२९कारण पाहा! माझ्या नावाने ओळखल्या जाणाऱ्या नगरावर जर मी आपत्ती आणत आहे, तर तुम्हास शिक्षा होणार नाही असे कसे? तुमची सुटका होणार नाही, कारण मी पृथ्वीवरील सर्व राहणाऱ्यांविरूद्ध तलवारीला पाठवणार आहे.” सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो.
30 Therefore, prophesy against them all these words, and say to them: —Jehovah shall roar from on high, From his holy habitation shall he utter his voice; He shall roar aloud against his dwelling-place; A shout like that of vintagers shall he raise Against all the inhabitants of the earth.
३०“तर यिर्मया, तू त्यांना हे भविष्यवचन सांग, त्यांना बोल: परमेश्वर उंचावरुन गर्जना करतो, आणि त्याच्या पवित्र मंदिरातून आपला शब्द उच्चारील, तो त्याच्या कळपाविरूद्ध गर्जना करील. द्राक्षरस काढताना, द्राक्षे तुडविताना, लोक ज्याप्रमाणे मोठ्याने गातात, तसा, देशाच्या सर्व राहणाऱ्यांविरूद्ध तो ओरडेन.
31 An outcry shall reach to the ends of the earth; For Jehovah hath a controversy with the nations; He entereth into judgment with all flesh; The wicked will he give up to the sword, saith Jehovah.
३१तो आवाज पृथ्वीच्या शेवटापर्यंत येणार, कारण परमेश्वराचा विवाद राष्ट्रांविरूद्ध आहे, तो त्यांचा न्यायनिवाडा करणार. आणि तो सर्व देहावर न्यायव्यवस्था चालवणार. दुष्टांना तो तलवारीस देणार.” परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो.
32 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, And a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the extremities of the earth.
३२सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “अरिष्टे एका राष्ट्रातून दुसऱ्या राष्ट्रात पुढे जाणार, आणि पृथ्वीवरच्या अतिदूरच्या ठिकाणाहून वादळाची सुरुवात होईल.”
33 At that day shall the slain of Jehovah lie From one end of the earth to the other end of the earth; They shall not be lamented, nor gathered, nor buried; They shall be dung upon the ground.
३३आणि जे परमेश्वरापासून मारले गेले, त्या लोकांची प्रेते पृथ्वीच्या एका टोकाकडून दुसऱ्या टोकाकडे पसरतील. त्यांच्यासाठी कोणीही शोक करणार नाही किंवा ती गोळा करणार नाही आणि पुरणारही नाही. शेणाप्रमाणे ती जमिनीवर पडतील.
34 Howl, O ye shepherds, and cry! Roll yourselves in the dust, ye leaders of the flock, For your time to be slaughtered has come! And I will scatter you, and ye shall fall like a goodly vessel.
३४मेंढपाळांनो विलाप करा आणि मदतीसाठी रडा. कळपातील धन्यांनो जमिनीवर लोळा. कारण ही तुला मारल्या जाण्याचा आणि विखरण्याचा दिवस आला आहे. तुम्ही फुटक्या मडक्याच्या तुकड्याप्रमाणे सगळीकडे पडाल.
35 The shepherds shall have no way to flee, Nor the leaders of the flock to escape.
३५मेंढपाळांना लपायला कोठेही आश्रय राहणार नाही. आणि कळपातील धन्यांना सुटता येणार नाही.
36 [[Hark!]] the voice of the cry of the shepherds, And the wailing of the leaders of the flock, Because Jehovah layeth waste their pasture!
३६मग मेंढपाळांच्या दुःखाचे रडणे आणि कळपाच्या धन्याचा विलाप तिथे असेल. कारण परमेश्वर त्यांच्या कळपाचा विनाशक झाला आहे.
37 Yea, the peaceful pastures are destroyed Because of the fierce anger of Jehovah.
३७त्या शांत कुरणांचा नाश केला जाईल आणि ती ओसाड वाळवंट होतील. परमेश्वराचा संतप्त क्रोध हा,
38 He hath left, like a lion, his covert; For their land is become desolate, Because of the wrath of the destroying sword, And because of the fierceness of his anger.
३८जसा गुहेत राहणाऱ्या तरुन सिंहाप्रमाणे, ज्याने आपली गुहा सोडली आहे त्याप्रमाणे असेल. कारण पीडणाऱ्या तलवारींमुळे व त्याच्या संतप्त क्रोधामुळे त्यांचा देश ओसाड झाला आहे.
