< James 1 >

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
James, Probhu Jisu Khrista aru Isor laga ekjon noukar pora, baroh ta jat kunkhan alag-alag jagate ase, taikhan logote etu chithi likhi kene salam jonai ase!
2 Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into various temptations;
Kitia dukh digdar khan lok pai, ami laga bhai khan, titia khushi koribi.
3 knowing that the trying of your faith worketh endurance.
Kilekoile apnikhan jani ase, kitia biswas ke porikha kore, etu pora dhorjo ulai.
4 But let endurance have a perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting in nothing.
Etu dhorjo kora laga kaam pura hobole dibi, etu pora apuni khan pura hoi jabo, aru eku pora bhi komti nathakibo.
5 But if any one of you is wanting in wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it will be given him.
Jodi kunba manu gyaan lage, tai Isor logote mangi lobi, aru Tai kunke ki lage, etu hisab te manga khan ke Tai khushi pora diye.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting; for he that doubteth is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.
Kintu tai biswas pora mangibo lage, monte eku bhabona nakori kene. Kelemane kun manu bhabona kori kene mange tai to hoile samundar laga hawa pora ekta jaga pora dusra jagate loija nisena ase.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive anything from the Lord,
Eneka manu to Probhu pora kiba ekta pabo koi kene bhabona na koribi.
8 a double-minded man as he is, unstable in all his ways.
Eneka manu to duita mon thaka manu ase, aru sob rasta te thik nathake.
9 Let the brother of low degree glory in that he is exalted;
Kintu biswasi gorib bhai bhi jitia Isor he taike uthai dibo, titia khushi koribi,
10 but the rich, in that he is made low; because as the flower of the grass he will pass away.
aru dhuni manu tai laga nomro kori diya sonman nimite khushi thakibi, kelemane tai nijor to jongol laga phul nisena ghas logote harai jabo.
11 For the sun rose with its burning heat, and withered the grass, and its flower fell off, and the beauty of its appearance perished; so also will the rich man fade away in his ways.
Kelemane suryo to gorom diye aru ghas khan ke bhi sukhai diye. Ghas laga phul khan giri jai, aru tai sundur dikhi thaka to harai jai. Etu nisena, dhuni manu rasta te safar kori thaka homoi te, taikhan bhi harai jai.
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he is approved, he will receive the crown of life, which He promised to them that love him.
Kun pora porikha te thik dhorjo kori kene khara kori thake, tai asishit ase. Kilekoile etu porikha paar huwa pichete, jibon laga mukut, kuntu Isor ke morom kora khan nimite ase, etu tai pabo.
13 Let no one when he is tempted, say, I am tempted by God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he tempteth no one.
Kun bhi porikha aha homoi te eneka nokobi, “Moike Isor pora porikha kori ase,” kelemane Isor ke biya pora porikha nakore, aru Tai nijor bhi dusra ke porikha nakore.
14 But each one is tempted when by his own lust he is led away and enticed;
Kintu sob nijor laga itcha pora he porikha te gire, etu pora taike tani kene biya kaam kori bole nimite loijai.
15 then lust, having conceived, bringeth forth sin, and sin, when completed, bringeth forth death.
Jitia itcha khan monte ulai, etu paap ke jonom diye, aru jitia paap to pura dangor hoijai, etu mrityu ke jonom diye.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
Nijorke thogai nadibi, ami laga morom bhai khan.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the lights, with whom is no change, nor shadow from turning.
Sobse bhal uphar aru sobse thik uphar upor thaka Isor pora he ahe. Eitu khan jyoti laga Baba Isor pora he ahe. Tai logot te bodla-bodli nohoile andhera chaya nathake.
18 Of his own will he begot us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures.
Isor pora amikhan ke hosa laga kotha pora jonom dibole basi loise, etu pora amikhan Tai bona laga shristi bhitor te prothom ula phol hobole dise.
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
Apuni etu jane, ami laga bhai khan: Kintu sob manu huna te joldi hobi, aste pora kotha kobi, aru khong nauthibi.
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
Kelemane manu laga khong pora Isor laga dharmik kaam nacholai.
21 Wherefore put off all filthiness, and excess of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
Etu nimite sob paap laga kaam khan chari dibi. Aru nomro hoi kene Isor laga kotha monte rakhibi, etu pora apuni laga atma bachai lobole paribo.
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Kintu kotha huna nisena kaam bhi kori bhi, khali huni kene nathakibi, eneka kora to nijorke thogai diya he ase.
23 For if any one is a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like a man beholding his natural face in a glass;
Jodi kunba Isor laga kotha to hune kintu kaam nakore, tai eneka ekjon ase kun ayna te nijor laga chehera ke sai.
24 for he beholds himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what manner of man he was.
Tai kineka dikhe etu tai nijorke bhal pora sai loi, kintu bahar ula logote, tai laga chehera pahori jai.
25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty, and remains there, being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in his deed.
Kintu kun manu bhal pora saikene niyom mani thake, aru hodai eneka kori thake, khali huni kene pahorija nohoi, kintu kaam bhi kore, etu manu tai laga sob kaam te asirbad pabo.
26 If any one thinks that he is religious, and bridles not his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Jodi kunba nijorke dhorom mani kene thaka manu ase bhabe, hoile bhi tai laga jiba to rukhai kene narakhe, aru nijor laga mon to thogai diye, titia hoile tai laga dhorom to eku kaam nai.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God, the Father, is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep one's self unspotted from the world.
Baba Isor usorte sapha aru bhal dhorom etu ase: baba nathaka aru bidhowa khan dukh paikene thaka homoi te modot kori bole, aru etu prithibi pora nijorke dagi nathaki kene rakhibole nimite ase.
