< James 5 >

1 Come now, ye rich men, weep and wail for your miseries that are coming upon you.
Muje woli, bhanu muli bhanibhi, mulile kwo bhulaka bhwaingulu kulwokubha eija okuja inyako kwimwe.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are become moth-eaten;
Obhunibhi bhwemwe bhwanyamuhye na jingubho jemwe jagugunilwe na mafunyo amanyamusi.
3 your gold and silver is rusted, and the rust of them will be a witness against you, and will eat your flesh as fire; ye have heaped up treasure in the last days!
Jijaabhu jemwe na jimpilya jabhulilwe obhwekisi, no bhunyamuke bhwajo obhulola ingulu yemwe no kusimagisha emibhili jemwe lwo mulilo. Mweteleeo libhikilo lyemwe munsiku jo bhutelo.
4 Behold, the hire of the laborers who reaped your fields, which is fraudulently kept back by you, crieth out; and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Hosts.
Mbe mulole, omuyelo gwa bhakosi bhanu muchali kubhayana omuyelo kulwokugesa amasambu gemwe-abhalila! Echikunga cha bhanu bhagesele ebhiyambwa bhyemwe chakingile mumatwi ga Latabhugenyi we bhise.
5 Ye have lived in luxury on the earth, and have been given to pleasure; ye have pampered your hearts in a day of slaughter.
Mwekaye kwo lumula muchalo nimwikondelesha emwe abhene. Nimwiyamya mumioyo jemwe kulisiku lwo kuchinjwa.
6 Ye have condemned, ye have killed the just man; he doth not resist you.
Mwamulamuye no kumwita omulengelesi unu atakutula kubhabhuma.
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and is patient about it, until it hath received the early and latter rain.
Kulwejo mwikomeshe, bhana bhasu, okukinga okuja kwa Latabhugenyi, labha omulimi kalinda ebhigeswa bhyo bhwana okusoka munsi, nalinda kwo kwikomesha ingulu yae, okukinga ingubha yo kwamba ne jamwisho jikagwa.
8 Be ye also patient, establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Emwona mubhe bhekomesha; mulumyega emyoyo jemwe, kulwokubha okuja kwa Latabhugenyi kulyayeyi.
9 Murmur not against each other, brethren, that ye be not judged. Behold, the Judge standeth before the door.
Bhana bhasu, musige okwitoganganila emwe kwe mwe, mutaja kulamulwa. Mulole, omulamusi kemelegulu kumulyango.
10 Take, brethren, the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, for an example of affliction, and of patience.
Kwechijejekanyo, bhana bhasu, mulole okunyansibhwa no kwikomesha kwa bhalagi bhanu bhalomaga mwi sina lya Latabhugenyi.
11 Behold, we count those happy who have endured. Ye have heard of the patience of Job; behold also the end of the Lord, that he is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
Lola, echibhabhilikila bhanu abhekomesha, “bhana libhando.” Mwonguhye obhwikomesha bhwa Ayubu, nomulimenya eliikanyo lya Latabhugenyi ingulu ya Ayubu, nilwakutiki kutyo Latabhugenyi ejuye obhufula ne chigongo.
12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not; neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath; but let your yea be yea, and your nay, nay; that ye fall not under condemnation.
Okukila bhyona, bhana bhasu, mutalaila, nolo kwo lwile nolo kwa insi, nolo kwe chilailo echindi. Nawe ati “yee” yemwe naibhe “yee” na “payi” yemwe ibhe “payi”, koleleki mutaja kugwila mundamu.
13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any cheerful? let him sing praise.
Alio umwi mwimwe unu ali na inyanko? Nibhusibhusi asabhe. Angu, omunu wonawona unu kakondelelwa? Nembe jinyimbo jalikusho.
14 Is any sick among you? let him call to him the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
Angu, alio wona wona agati yemwe unu ali mulwae? Nabhabhilikile abhakaluka bhwa ikanisa, na abhakaluka bha ikanisa bhasabhwe ingulu yae, nibhamubhambaga amafuta mwi sina lya Latabhugenyi,
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; even if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him.
na lisabha lye likilisha elimuosha omulwae, na Latabhugenyi kamwimusha. Na labha akabha akolele ebhibhibhi, Nyamuanga kamufwila chigongo.
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Kulwejo mwigambilanega ebhibhibhi bhyemwe emwe kwemwe, nokusabhilana bhuli munu no wejabho, koleleki mubhone okwiulisibhwa. Lisabha lyo mulengelesi agebhula managa mamfu.
17 Elijah was a man of like nature with us, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain; and it rained not on the earth for three years and six months;
Eliya ona aliga alimunu lweswe, asabhile kwa managa ingubha isige kugwa, na itaguye kunsi kwo mwanya gwa miyaka esatu na mesi sita.
18 and again he prayed, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
Na Eliya asabhile lindi, no lwile nilwitila ingubha ingulu ya insi na insi nisosha ebhigeswa.
19 Brethren, if any one among you be led astray from the truth, and one convert him,
Bhana bhasu, labha umwi mwimwe akayabha okusoka mubhyechimali, nawe omunu oundi namusubhya,
20 let him know that he who converteth a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death, and will cover a multitude of sins.
namenyati wona wona unu kamutangasha owebhibhibhi okusoka munjila jae jo bhukayi kakisha omwoyo okusoka mukufwa na kafundikila obhwamfu bhwe bhibhibhi.
