Isaiah 8
1 And Jehovah said to me, Take thee a great tablet, and with a man's writing-instrument write on it, Hasteth-the-prey, Speedeth-the-spoil.
১যিহোৱাই মোক ক’লে, “তুমি এখন ডাঙৰ ফলি লোৱা আৰু তাত এইদৰে লিখা ‘মহেৰচালল-হচ-বজ’
2 And I took with me faithful witnesses, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah, the son of Berechiah.
২পুৰোহিত ঊৰিয়া আৰু যিবেৰেখিয়াৰ পুত্ৰ জখৰিয়াক, মোৰ প্রমাণৰ বাবে বিশ্বাসী সাক্ষীস্বৰূপে মাতিম।”
3 I went in to the prophetess, and she conceived and bore a son. Then said Jehovah to me, Call his name, Hasteth-the-prey, Speedeth-the-spoil.
৩মই ভাববাদিনীৰ ওচৰলৈ গ’লো, আৰু তেওঁ গৰ্ভৱতী হৈ এটি পুত্ৰ প্ৰসৱ কৰিলে। তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই মোক ক’লে, “তেওঁক ‘মহেৰচালল-হচ-বজ’ বুলি মাতিবা।
4 For before the child shall learn to say, My father, and My mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be borne away before the king of Assyria.
৪কাৰণ লৰাটিয়ে মোৰ মা, আৰু মোৰ দেউতা, বুলি মাতিবলৈ জনাৰ পূৰ্বেই, দম্মেচকৰ ধন-সম্পত্তি আৰু চমৰিয়াৰ লুটদ্ৰব্য ৰজা অচূৰৰ দ্বাৰাই কঢ়িয়াই নিয়া হ’ব।”
5 Moreover, Jehovah spake to me again, saying:
৫যিহোৱাই মোক পুনৰ কৈছিল,
6 Because this people despiseth The soft-flowing waters of Siloah, And rejoiceth in Rezin, and the son of Remaliah,
৬কাৰণ এই লোকসকল চীলোহৰ শীতল পানী অগ্ৰাহ্য কৰিছে, ৰচীন আৰু ৰমলিয়াৰ পুত্রৰ বিষয়ে আনন্দ কৰিছে।
7 Therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth upon them the strong and mighty waters of the river; [[The king of Assyria and all his glory.]] He shall rise above all his channels, And go over all his banks.
৭এই কাৰণে প্ৰভুৱে নদীৰ প্ৰৱল আৰু প্ৰচুৰ জল সমূহ ৰজা অচূৰীয়া আৰু তেওঁৰ সকলো প্ৰতাপৰ ওপৰলৈ আনিব; সি সকলো সুঁতি পূৰ কৰিব, আৰু পাৰৰ ওপৰেদি বাগৰি যাব।
8 And he shall pass through Judah, overflowing and spreading; Even to the neck shall he reach, And his stretched-out wings shall fill the whole breadth of thy land, O Immanuel!
৮আৰু সি বৈ যিহূদা দেশত সোমাব; আৰু ডিঙি নোপোৱালৈকে প্লাবিত হৈ বৈ যাব। হে ইম্মানূৱেল, তাৰ বিস্তাৰিত ডেউকাই তোমাৰ সমগ্র দেশ ঢাকিব।
9 Rage, ye nations, and despair! Give ear, all ye distant parts of the earth! Gird yourselves, and despair! Gird yourselves, and despair!
৯হে লোকসকল, তোমালোক ডোখৰ ডোখৰ হ’বা। সকলো দূৰত থকা দেশবোৰ শুনা, যুদ্ধৰ বাবে নিজকে সুসজ্জিত কৰা, আৰু ডোখৰ ডোখৰকৈ ভঙা হ’বা।
10 Form your plan, and it shall come to naught; Give the command, and it shall not stand; For God is with us.
১০পৰিকল্পনা কৰা, কিন্তু সেয়ে বিফল হ’ব; আদেশ দিয়া, কিন্তু সেয়াও বিফল হ’ব; কাৰণ ঈশ্বৰ আমাৰ লগত আছে।
11 For thus spake Jehovah to me with a strong hand, Instructing me not to walk in the way of this people:
১১যিহোৱা তেওঁৰ পৰাক্রমী হাত মোৰ ওপৰত ৰাখিছে, আৰু এই লোকসকলৰ পথত গমন নকৰিবলৈ সাৱধান কৰি মোক ক’লে,
12 Call not everything a confederacy which this people calleth a confederacy; Fear ye not what they fear, Neither be afraid!
১২এই লোকসকলে যি বিষয়ক ষড়যন্ত্র বুলি কয়, তেনে কোনো বিষয়ক ষড়যন্ত্র বুলি নকবা, তেওঁলোকে যি ভয় কৰে, তুমি তালৈ ভয় নকৰিবা, আৰু আতংকিত নহবা।
13 Jehovah of hosts, sanctify ye him; Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread!
১৩তোমালোকে বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাক পবিত্ৰ বুলি সন্মান কৰিবা; তেওঁক ভয় কৰিবা, তেঁৱেই সেই জন যি জনক তোমালোকে ভয় কৰা উচিত।
14 And he shall be to you a sanctuary; But a stone of stumbling, and a rock to strike against, To the two houses of Israel, A trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
১৪তেঁৱেই পবিত্ৰ স্থান হ’ব, কিন্তু তেওঁ এটা ক্ষুদ্র পদক্ষেপ দিয়া শিল আৰু উজুটি খোৱা শিল হ’ব, যিৰূচালেম নিবাসী লোকৰ বাবে ইস্রায়েলৰ দুয়োটা বংশ ফান্দ আৰু জালৰ দৰে হ’ব।
15 And many among them shall stumble; They shall fall, and be broken; They shall be ensnared and taken.
১৫তেওঁলোকৰ মাজৰ অনেকে তাত উজুটি খাই পৰি ভগ্ন হ’ব, আৰু ফান্দত পৰি ধৰা পৰিব।
16 Bind up the revelation, Seal the word, with my disciples!
১৬মোৰ সাক্ষ্যৰ কথা বান্ধি ৰাখা, কাৰ্যালয়ৰ নথি পত্রত মোহৰ মাৰি ৰাখা, আৰু ইয়াক মোৰ শিষ্যসকলক দিয়া।
17 I will, therefore, wait for Jehovah, Who now hideth his face from the house of Jacob; Yet will I look for him.
১৭যি জনাই যাকোবৰ বংশৰ পৰা নিজৰ মুখ ঢাকি ৰাখিছে, মই সেই যিহোৱালৈ বাট চাম, আৰু তেওঁ লৈ অপেক্ষা কৰিম।
18 Behold, I, and the children which Jehovah hath given me, Are signs and tokens in Israel From Jehovah of hosts, who dwelleth upon mount Zion.
১৮চিয়োন পৰ্বতত থকা বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাৰ পৰা যিহোৱাই চিন স্বৰূপে ইস্রায়েলৰ অদ্ভুত লক্ষ্যণৰ বাবে দিয়া পুত্রসকল আৰু মোক চোৱা,
19 And when they shall say to you, “Inquire of the necromancers and the wizards, That chirp, and that murmur,” [[Then say ye, ]] “Should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of the dead for the living?”
১৯তেওঁলোকে তোমালোকক ক’ব, “যি সকলে গুণমন্ত্র জানে তেনে যাদুকৰ আৰু মধ্যস্থতাকাৰীৰ সৈতে আলোচনা কৰা” কিন্তু লোকসকলে নিজৰ ঈশ্বৰক নুসুধিব নে? তেওঁলোকে জীৱিতসকলৰ হৈ মৃতবোৰক সুধিব নে?
20 To the word, to the revelation! If they speak not according to this, For them no bright morning shall arise.
২০সেয়ে তোমালোকে বিধান আৰু সাক্ষ্যলৈ মনোযোগ দিয়া উচিত! যদি তেওঁলোকে এই বিষয়ে নকয়, তেনেহ’লে ইয়াৰ কাৰণে তেওঁলোকলৈ পুৱাৰ পোহৰ নহ’ব।
21 They shall pass through the land distressed and famished; And when they are famished, they shall be enraged, and curse their king and their God, And look upward.
২১তেওঁলোক দুখিত ও ক্ষুধিত হৈ দেশৰ মাজেদি যাব। তেওঁলোকৰ যেতিয়া ভোক লাগিব, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকৰ খং উঠিব; আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ মুখ ওপৰলৈ কৰি নিজৰ ৰজা আৰু নিজৰ ঈশ্বৰক শাও দিব।
22 And if they look to the earth, Behold distress and darkness, fearful darkness! And into darkness shall they be driven.
২২তেওঁলোকে পৃথিৱীলৈ চাব; আৰু সঙ্কট, আন্ধাৰ, আৰু দুখ যাতনা দেখিব। তেওঁলোকক আন্ধকাৰৰ দেশলৈ নিয়া হ’ব।
