Isaiah 7
1 In the time of Ahaz, the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, Rezin, king of Syria, and Pekah, the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, came up against Jerusalem to besiege it; but he could not prevail against it.
| و در ایام آحاز بن یوتام بن عزیا پادشاه یهودا، واقع شد که رصین، پادشاه آرام وفقح بن رملیا پادشاه اسرائیل بر اورشلیم برآمدندتا با آن جنگ نمایند، اما نتوانستند آن را فتح نمایند. | ۱ |
2 And when it was told the house of David, that the Syrians had encamped in Ephraim, his heart was moved, and the hearts of his people, as the trees of the forest are moved with the wind.
| و به خاندان داود خبر داده، گفتند که ارام در افرایم اردو زده‌اند و دل او و دل مردمانش بلرزید به طوری که درختان جنگل از باد می‌لرزد. | ۲ |
3 Then said Jehovah to Isaiah, Go forth to meet Ahaz, thou and Shear-Jashub thy son, at the end of the aqueduct of the upper pool, in the way to the fuller's field;
| آنگاه خداوند به اشعیا گفت: «تو با پسر خودشاریاشوب به انتهای قنات برکه فوقانی به راه مزرعه گازر به استقبال آحاز بیرون شو. | ۳ |
4 and say to him: Take heed, and be quiet! Fear not, neither let thy heart he faint On account of the two tails of these smoking firebrands, On account of the fierce wrath of Rezin with the Syrians, and of the son of Remaliah,
| و وی رابگو: باحذر و آرام باش مترس و دلت ضعیف نشود از این دو‌دم مشعل دودافشان، یعنی ازشدت خشم رصین و ارام و پسر رملیا. | ۴ |
5 Because Syria deviseth evil against thee, Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, saying,
| زیرا که ارام با افرایم و پسر رملیا برای ضرر تو مشورت کرده، می‌گویند: | ۵ |
6 “Let us go up against Judah, and besiege the city, And take it, And set a king in the midst of it, Even the son of Tabeal.”
| بر یهودا برآییم و آن رامحاصره کرده، به جهت خویشتن تسخیر نماییم و پسر طبئیل را در آن به پادشاهی نصب کنیم.» | ۶ |
7 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: “It shall not stand, neither shall it be;
| خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید که «این بجا آورده نمی شود و واقع نخواهد گردید. | ۷ |
8 But the head of Syria shall still be Damascus, And the head of Damascus, Rezin; [[And within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that he be no more a people.]]
| زیرا که سرارام، دمشق و سر دمشق، رصین است و بعد ازشصت و پنج سال افرایم شکسته می‌شود به طوری که دیگر قومی نخواهد بود. | ۸ |
9 And the head of Ephraim shall still be Samaria, And the head of Samaria, the son of Remaliah. If ye will not believe, neither shall ye thrive.”
| و سر افرایم سامره و سر سامره پسر رملیا است و اگر باورنکنید هرآینه ثابت نخواهید ماند.» | ۹ |
10 Jehovah spake also again to Ahaz:
| و خداوند بار دیگر آحاز را خطاب کرده، گفت: | ۱۰ |
| «آیتی به جهت خود از یهوه خدایت بطلب. آن را یا از عمق‌ها بطلب یا از اعلی علیین بالا.» (Sheol h7585) | ۱۱ |
12 And Ahaz said, I will not ask; I will not tempt Jehovah!
| آحاز گفت: «نمی طلبم و خداوند راامتحان نخواهم نمود.» | ۱۲ |
13 Then he said, Hear ye now, O house of David! Is it too small a thing for you to weary men, That ye should weary my God also?
| گفت: «ای خاندان داود بشنوید! آیا شما راچیزی سهل است که مردمان را بیزار کنید بلکه می‌خواهید خدای مرا نیز بیزار کنید. | ۱۳ |
14 Therefore shall Jehovah himself give you a sign: Behold, the damsel shall conceive, and bear a son, And she shall call his name Immanuel.
| بنابراین خود خداوند به شما آیتی خواهد داد: اینک باکره حامله شده، پسری خواهد زایید و نام او راعمانوئیل خواهد خواند. | ۱۴ |
15 Milk and honey shall he eat, Until he learn to refuse the evil, and choose the good;
| کره و عسل خواهدخورد تا آنکه ترک کردن بدی و اختیار کردن خوبی را بداند. | ۱۵ |
16 For before this child shall have learned to refuse the evil and choose the good, The land shall become desolate, On account of whose two kings thou art in terror.
| زیرا قبل از آنکه پسر، ترک نمودن بدی و اختیار کردن خوبی را بداند، زمینی که شما از هر دو پادشاه آن می‌ترسید، متروک خواهد شد. | ۱۶ |
17 Yet Jehovah shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, Days such as have not been Since Ephraim revolted from Judah. [[Even the king of Assyria.]]
| خداوند بر تو و بر قومت و برخاندان پدرت ایامی را خواهد آورد که از ایامی که افرایم از یهودا جدا شد تا حال نیامده باشدیعنی پادشاه آشور را.» | ۱۷ |
18 And it shall come to pass in that day That Jehovah shall whistle for the fly that is at the end of the streams of Egypt, And the bee that is in the land of Assyria,
| و در آن روز واقع خواهد شد که خداوند برای مگسهایی که به کناره های نهرهای مصرند و زنبورهایی که درزمین آشورند صفیر خواهد زد. | ۱۸ |
19 And they shall come, and light all of them In the desolate valleys, and fissures of the rocks, And upon all hedges, and upon all pastures.
| و تمامی آنهابرآمده، در وادیهای ویران و شکافهای صخره وبر همه بوته های خاردار و بر همه مرتع‌ها فرود خواهند آمد. | ۱۹ |
20 In that day shall Jehovah shave, with a razor hired beyond the river, [[with the king of Assyria, ]] The head, and the hair of the feet; Yea, even the beard shall he take away.
| و در آن روز خداوند به واسطه استره‌ای که از ماورای نهر اجیر می‌شود یعنی به واسطه پادشاه آشور موی سر و موی پایها راخواهد تراشید و ریش هم سترده خواهد شد. | ۲۰ |
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, That a man shall keep a young cow, and two sheep;
| و در آن روز واقع خواهد شد که شخصی یک گاو جوان و دو گوسفند زنده نگاه خواهد داشت. | ۲۱ |
22 And for the abundance of milk which they produce, shall he eat cheese; For milk and honey shall all eat Who are left in the land,
| و از فراوانی شیری که می‌دهند کره خواهدخورد زیرا هرکه در میان زمین باقی ماند خوراکش کره و عسل خواهد بود. | ۲۲ |
23 And it shall come to pass in that day, That every place where stood a thousand vines, worth a thousand shekels of silver, Shall be covered with briers and thorns.
| و در آن روز هر مکانی که هزار مو به جهت هزار پاره نقره داده می‌شد پراز خار و خس خواهد بود. | ۲۳ |
24 With arrows and with bows shall men go thither; For all the land shall become briers and thorns.
| با تیرها و کمانهامردم به آنجا خواهند آمد زیرا که تمامی زمین پراز خار و خس خواهد شد. | ۲۴ |
25 All the hills that were digged with the mattock Shall no one approach through fear of briers and thorns; They shall be for the pasturage of oxen, And the trampling of sheep.
| و جمیع کوههایی که با بیل کنده می‌شد، از ترس خار و خس به آنجانخواهند آمد بلکه گاوان را به آنجا خواهندفرستاد و گوسفندان آن را پایمال خواهند کرد. | ۲۵ |
