Isaiah 63
1 Who is this that cometh from Edom? In scarlet garments from Bozrah? This that is glorious in his apparel, Proud in the greatness of his strength? I that proclaim deliverance, And am mighty to save.
ഏദോമിൽനിന്ന് രക്തപങ്കിലമായ വസ്ത്രംധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, അതേ, ഏദോമിലെ ബൊസ്രായിൽനിന്ന് വരുന്ന ഈ വ്യക്തി ആർ? തേജസ്സിന്റെ വസ്ത്രംധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് തന്റെ ശക്തിയുടെ പ്രഭാവത്തിൽ വേഗത്തിൽ മുന്നേറുന്ന ഇദ്ദേഹം ആർ? “വിമോചനം പ്രഘോഷിക്കുന്നവനും രക്ഷിക്കാൻ ശക്തനുമായ ഞാൻതന്നെ.”
2 Wherefore is thine apparel red, And thy garments like those of one that treadeth the wine-vat?
നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രം മുന്തിരിച്ചക്കു ചവിട്ടുന്നവരുടേതുപോലെ ചെമന്നിരിക്കാൻ കാരണമെന്ത്?
3 I have trodden the wine-vat alone, And of the nations there was none with me. And I trod them in mine anger, And I trampled them in my fury, So that their life-blood was sprinkled upon my garments. And I have stained all my apparel.
“ഞാൻ ഏകനായി മുന്തിരിച്ചക്കു ചവിട്ടിമെതിച്ചു; രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ആരുംതന്നെ എന്നോടൊപ്പം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവരെ ചവിട്ടി, എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ അവരെ മെതിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അവരുടെ രക്തം എന്റെ ഉടുപ്പിന്മേൽ തെറിച്ചു, എന്റെ വസ്ത്രമെല്ലാം ഞാൻ മലിനമാക്കി.
4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart, And the year of my deliverance was come.
കാരണം പ്രതികാരദിവസം എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലുണ്ട്; ഞാൻ വീണ്ടെടുക്കുന്ന വർഷം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help, And I wondered, that there was none to uphold; Therefore my own arm wrought salvation for me, And my fury, it sustained me.
ഞാൻ നോക്കി, സഹായിക്കാൻ ആരുമുണ്ടായില്ല, സഹായിക്കാൻ ആരുമില്ലാത്തതോർത്ത് ഞാൻ വിസ്മയിച്ചു; അതിനാൽ എന്റെ കരംതന്നെ എനിക്കു രക്ഷ വരുത്തി, എന്റെ ക്രോധം എന്നെ തുണച്ചു.
6 I trod down the nations in my anger; I crushed them in my fury, And spilled their blood upon the ground.
എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ ഞാൻ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളെ ചവിട്ടിമെതിച്ചു; എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ അവരെ മത്തരാക്കി, അവരുടെ രക്തം ഞാൻ നിലത്ത് ഒഴുക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.”
7 I will celebrate the mercy of Jehovah, the glory of Jehovah, According to all that he hath done for us; His great goodness to the house of Israel, Which he hath bestowed on it in his tender mercy, and his great kindness.
അവിടത്തെ കരുണയ്ക്കും അനവധിയായ ദയാവായ്പിനും അനുസൃതമായി, യഹോവ നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി ചെയ്ത എല്ലാറ്റിനും— അതേ, അവിടന്ന് ഇസ്രായേലിനുവേണ്ടി ചെയ്ത അനവധി നന്മകൾക്കുമായി ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ ദയാവായ്പിനെക്കുറിച്ചും അവിടത്തെ സ്തുത്യർഹമായ കൃത്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.
8 He said, Truly they are my people; Children that will not be false; So he was their deliverer.
അവിടന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു, “അവർ എന്റെ ജനമാണ്, നിശ്ചയം, ഈ മക്കൾ എന്നോടു വിശ്വസ്തത പുലർത്താതിരിക്കുകയില്ല;” അങ്ങനെ അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ രക്ഷകനായിത്തീർന്നു.
9 In all their straits they had no distress; An angel of his presence saved them; In his love and compassion he redeemed them, He took them up and bore them all the days of old.
അവരുടെ കഷ്ടതയിലെല്ലാം അവിടന്നും കഷ്ടതയനുഭവിച്ചു, അവിടത്തെ സന്നിധിയിലെ ദൂതൻ അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു. തന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിലും കരുണയിലും അവിടന്ന് അവരെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു; പുരാതനകാലങ്ങളിലെല്ലാം അവിടന്ന് അവരെ കരങ്ങളിൽ വഹിച്ചു.
10 But they rebelled, and grieved his holy spirit; Then did he change himself into their enemy; He himself fought against them.
എങ്കിലും അവർ മത്സരിച്ച് അവിടത്തെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ ദുഃഖിപ്പിച്ചു. അതിനാൽ അവിടന്ന് അവർക്കു ശത്രുവായിത്തീർന്നു, അവർക്കെതിരേ അവിടന്നുതന്നെ യുദ്ധംചെയ്തു.
11 Then remembered his people the ancient days, the days of Moses, [[saying, ]] Where is he that brought them up from the sea with the shepherd of his flock? Where is he that put his holy spirit within him?
അപ്പോൾ അവിടത്തെ ജനം ആ പ്രാചീനകാലം ഓർത്തു, മോശയുടെയും തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെയും നാളുകൾതന്നെ— അവരെ സമുദ്രത്തിലൂടെ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയന്മാരോടൊപ്പം വിടുവിച്ചവൻ എവിടെ? അവരിൽ തന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ നിക്ഷേപിച്ചവൻ എവിടെ?
12 That caused his glorious arm to accompany the right hand of Moses, That divided the water before them, To make to himself an everlasting name?
മോശയുടെ വലംകരത്തോടുചേർന്നു പ്രവർത്തിക്കാനായി തന്റെ മഹത്ത്വമേറിയ ശക്തിയുടെ ഭുജം അയയ്ക്കുകയും തനിക്ക് ഒരു ശാശ്വതനാമം ഉണ്ടാകാനായി അവർക്കുമുമ്പിൽ കടലിനെ ഭാഗിച്ച്
13 That led them through the deep, As a horse through a desert, without stumbling?
ആഴങ്ങളിൽക്കൂടെ അവരെ നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തവൻ ആർ? മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ഇടറാതെ കുതിച്ചുപായും കുതിരയെപ്പോലെ അവരും ഇടറിയില്ല;
14 As the herd descendeth into the valley, The spirit of Jehovah led them to rest. So didst thou lead thy people, To make for thyself a glorious name.
താഴ്വരയിലേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലുന്ന കന്നുകാലികളെപ്പോലെ യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവ് അവർക്കു വിശ്രമംനൽകി. അങ്ങേക്ക് മഹത്ത്വകരമായ ഒരു നാമം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നതിന് അങ്ങ് തന്റെ ജനത്തെ നയിച്ചത് ഇങ്ങനെയാണ്.
15 Look down from heaven, and behold from thy holy and glorious habitation! Where is thy zeal and thy might? Thy pity and compassion for me, are they restrained?
സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്നു നോക്കണമേ, കടാക്ഷിക്കണമേ, വിശുദ്ധിയും തേജസ്സുമുള്ള അങ്ങയുടെ ഉന്നത സിംഹാസനത്തിൽനിന്നുതന്നെ. അങ്ങയുടെ തീക്ഷ്ണതയും അങ്ങയുടെ ശക്തിയും എവിടെ? അവിടത്തെ മനസ്സലിവും സഹതാപവും ഞങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു തടഞ്ഞുവെക്കരുതേ.
16 Thou, surely, art our father; Abraham is ignorant of us, And Israel knoweth us not. Thou, O Jehovah, art our father; Our deliverer wast thou of old.
അബ്രാഹാം ഞങ്ങളെ അറിയുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലും ഇസ്രായേൽ ഞങ്ങളെ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലും അങ്ങാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവ്; യഹോവേ, അങ്ങുതന്നെയാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവ്, പുരാതനകാലംമുതൽതന്നെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരനെന്നാണ് അവിടത്തെ നാമം.
17 Why, O Jehovah, dost thou suffer us to wander from thy ways, And harden our hearts against thy fear? Return, for thy servants' sake, The tribes of thine inheritance!
യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങൾ അവിടത്തെ വഴിവിട്ടു തെറ്റിപ്പോകാൻ ഇടയാക്കിയതും അങ്ങയെ ആദരിക്കാതവണ്ണം ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങൾ കഠിനമാക്കിയതും എന്തുകൊണ്ട്? അങ്ങയുടെ അവകാശമായ ഗോത്രങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസന്മാർ നിമിത്തം, മടങ്ങിവരണമേ.
18 But a little while did thy holy people possess the land; Then our enemies trampled upon thy sanctuary.
അങ്ങയുടെ ജനം അങ്ങയുടെ വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തെ അൽപ്പകാലത്തേക്കുമാത്രം കൈവശമാക്കി, എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ അങ്ങയുടെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ ചവിട്ടിമെതിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
19 It has been with us as if thou hadst never ruled over us, As if we had not been called by thy name.
അങ്ങ് ഒരിക്കലും ഭരിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തവരെപ്പോലെയും അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്താൽ ഒരിക്കലും വിളിക്കപ്പെടാത്തവരെപ്പോലെയും ഞങ്ങൾ ആയിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
