Isaiah 62
1 For Zion's sake I will not keep silence, And for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, Until her deliverance break forth like the shining light, And her salvation like a blazing torch.
Ze względu na Syjon nie będę milczeć, ze względu na Jerozolimę nie spocznę, dopóki jego sprawiedliwość nie wzejdzie jak blask i jego zbawienie nie zapłonie jak pochodnia.
2 Then shall the nations see thy prosperity, And all the kings thy glory; Thou shalt be called by a new name, Which the mouth of Jehovah shall give thee.
I ujrzą narody twoją sprawiedliwość i wszyscy królowie – twoją chwałę. I nazwą cię nowym imieniem, które usta PANA ustalą.
3 Thou shalt be a beautiful crown in the hand of Jehovah, A royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
I będziesz koroną chwały w ręku PANA i królewskim diademem w ręce twego Boga.
4 No more shalt thou be called the Desolate, And thy land, the Forsaken. But thou shall be named My-delight-is-in-her. And thy land the wedded Matron. For Jehovah shall delight in thee, And thy land shall be married.
Nie będą cię więcej zwać Opuszczoną ani twoja ziemia nie będzie więcej nazwana Spustoszoną. Ale ty będziesz nazywana Chefsiba, a twoja ziemia Beula, bo PAN ma w tobie upodobanie i twoja ziemia będzie poślubiona.
5 For as a young man weddeth a virgin. So shall thy children wed thee. And as a bridegroom rejoiceth in his bride, So shall thy God rejoice in thee.
Jak bowiem młodzieniec poślubia dziewicę, tak twoi synowie cię poślubią. I jak oblubieniec raduje się z oblubienicy, tak twój Bóg będzie się radować z ciebie.
6 Upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, have I set watchmen; All the day, and all the night, shall they not keep silence; O ye that praise Jehovah, keep not silence,
Na twoich murach, Jerozolimo, postawiłem stróżów, którzy przez cały dzień i całą noc nigdy nie zamilkną. Wy, którzy wspominacie PANA, nie milczcie;
7 And give him no rest, Until he establish Jerusalem, and make her a praise in the earth!
I nie dajcie mu odpoczynku, dopóki nie utwierdzi i dopóki nie uczyni Jerozolimy chwałą na ziemi.
8 Jehovah hath sworn by his right hand, and his mighty arm: No more will I give thy corn to be food for thine enemies, Nor shall the sons of the stranger drink thy wine, for which thou hast labored.
PAN przysiągł na swoją prawicę i na ramię swojej mocy: Nie wydam już twojej pszenicy na pokarm twoim wrogom, a synowie cudzoziemców nie będą pić twego wina, przy którym się trudziłaś.
9 But they that reap the harvest shall eat it, And praise Jehovah; And they that gather the vintage shall drink it, In my holy comets.
Ale ci, którzy je zgromadzą, będą je spożywać i chwalić PANA; a ci, którzy je zbierają, będą je pić w dziedzińcach mojej świątyni.
10 Pass ye, pass ye through the gates; Prepare the way for the people; Cast ye up, cast ye up the highway, Clear it from the stones; Lift up on high a standard for the tribes!
Przechodźcie, przechodźcie przez bramy! Torujcie drogę ludowi; wyrównajcie, wyrównajcie gościńce; usuwajcie kamienie, podnieście sztandar dla narodów.
11 Behold, Jehovah proclaimeth to the end of the earth: “Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy Deliverer cometh! Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him!”
Oto PAN rozkaże wołać aż po krańce ziemi: Powiedzcie córce Syjonu: Oto nadchodzi twój Zbawiciel, oto jego zapłata z nim, a jego dzieło przed nim.
12 They shall be called, The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah. And thou shalt be called, The Sought out, The Not forsaken City.
Twoich synów nazwą Ludem Świętym, Odkupionymi PANA, a ciebie nazwą Poszukiwaną, Miastem Nieopuszczonym.
