Isaiah 50
1 Thus saith Jehovah: Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, By which I dismissed her? Or who is he among my creditors To whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities are ye sold, And for your transgressions was your mother dismissed.
യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അമ്മയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതിന്റെ ഉപേക്ഷണപത്രം എവിടെ? അല്ല, എന്റെ കടക്കാരിൽ ആർക്കാകുന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞതു! നിങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളാൽ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞും നിങ്ങളുടെ ലംഘനങ്ങളാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ അമ്മ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു.
2 Wherefore, when I came, was no man at hand? When I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand too short to redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, And make the rivers a desert. Their fish putrefy for want of water, And die with thirst.
ഞാൻ വന്നപ്പോൾ ആരും ഇല്ലാതിരിപ്പാനും ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപ്പോൾ ആരും ഉത്തരം പറയാതിരിപ്പാനും സംഗതി എന്തു? വീണ്ടെടുപ്പാൻ കഴിയാതവണ്ണം എന്റെ കൈ വാസ്തവമായി കുറുകിയിരിക്കുന്നുവോ? അല്ല, വിടുവിപ്പാൻ എനിക്കു ശക്തിയില്ലയോ? ഇതാ, എന്റെ ശാസനകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ സമുദ്രത്തെ വറ്റിച്ചുകളയുന്നു; നദികളെ മരുഭൂമികളാക്കുന്നു; വെള്ളം ഇല്ലായ്കയാൽ അവയിലെ മത്സ്യം ദാഹംകൊണ്ടു ചത്തുനാറുന്നു.
3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, And make sackcloth their covering.
ഞാൻ ആകാശത്തെ ഇരുട്ടുടുപ്പിക്കയും രട്ടു പുതെപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
4 The Lord Jehovah hath given me the tongue of the learned, That I might know how to strengthen with my words them that are weary; He wakeneth me every morning, He wakeneth mine ear, That I may hear in the manner of the learned.
തളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നവനെ വാക്കുകൊണ്ടു താങ്ങുവാൻ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എനിക്കു ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ നാവു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ രാവിലെതോറും ഉണർത്തുന്നു; ശിഷ്യന്മാരെപ്പോലെ കേൾക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ എന്റെ ചെവി ഉണർത്തുന്നു.
5 The Lord Jehovah opened mine ear, And I was not disobedient, Neither did I withdraw myself backward.
യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എന്റെ ചെവി തുറന്നു; ഞാനോ മറുത്തുനിന്നില്ല; പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞതുമില്ല.
6 I gave my back to the smiters, And my cheeks to them that pluck the beard; I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
അടിക്കുന്നവർക്കു, ഞാൻ എന്റെ മുതുകും രോമം പറിക്കുന്നവർക്കു, എന്റെ കവിളും കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു; എന്റെ മുഖം നിന്ദെക്കും തുപ്പലിന്നും മറെച്ചിട്ടുമില്ല.
7 But the Lord Jehovah is my helper, Therefore shall I not be confounded; Therefore have I made my face like a flint, For I know that I shall not be put to shame.
യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എന്നെ സഹായിക്കും; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അമ്പരന്നുപോകയില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ എന്റെ മുഖം തീക്കല്ലുപോലെ ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.
8 He that defendeth my cause is near; Who will contend with me? Let us stand up together! Who is my adversary? Let him come near to me!
എന്നെ നീതീകരിക്കുന്നവൻ സമീപത്തുണ്ടു; എന്നോടു വാദിക്കുന്നവൻ ആർ? നമുക്കു തമ്മിൽ ഒന്നു നോക്കാം; എന്റെ പ്രതിയോഗി ആർ? അവൻ ഇങ്ങു വരട്ടെ.
9 Behold, the Lord Jehovah is my defender; Who is he that shall condemn me? Behold, they shall all waste away like a garment; The moth shall consume them.
ഇതാ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എന്നെ തുണെക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ കുറ്റം വിധിക്കുന്നവൻ ആർ? അവരെല്ലാവരും വസ്ത്രം പോലെ പഴകിപ്പോകും? പുഴു അവരെ തിന്നുകളയും.
10 Who is there among you that feareth Jehovah, That hearkeneth to the voice of his servant, That walketh in darkness and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of Jehovah, And lean upon his God.
നിങ്ങളിൽ യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും അവന്റെ ദാസന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ആർ? തനിക്കു പ്രകാശം ഇല്ലാതെ അന്ധകാരത്തിൽ നടന്നാലും അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ചു തന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്മേൽ ചാരിക്കൊള്ളട്ടെ.
11 Behold, all ye who kindle a fire, Who gird yourselves with burning arrows! Walk ye in the light of your fire, And in the burning arrows which ye have kindled. This shall ye have from my hand; Ye shall lie down in sorrow.
ഹാ, തീ കത്തിച്ചു തീയമ്പുകൾ അരെക്കു കെട്ടുന്നവരേ, നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും നിങ്ങളുടെ തീയുടെ വെളിച്ചത്തിലും നിങ്ങൾ കൊളുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്ന തീയമ്പുകളുടെ ഇടയിലും നടപ്പിൻ; എന്റെ കയ്യാൽ ഇതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഭവിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ വ്യസനത്തോടെ കിടക്കേണ്ടിവരും.
