< Isaiah 47 >
1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin, daughter of Babylon! Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldaeans! For thou shalt no longer be called the tender and delicate!
Gabadha bikradda ah ee Baabuloon ahay, soo deg, oo ciidda ku fadhiiso, magaalada reer Kaldayiinay, carshila'aan dhulka ku fadhiiso, waayo, mar dambe adiga laguuguma yeedhi doono mid dhaylo ah oo jilcisan.
2 Take the mill-stones and grind meal; Raise thy veil, lift up thy train; Make bare the leg, wade through the streams!
Dhagaxshiidyada qaad oo wax shiid, masarka madaxa ka qaad, oo lugaha qaawi, tan iyo bowdada tafaxaydo, oo webiyaasha ka gudub.
3 Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, And thy shame shall be seen. I will take vengeance; I will make peace with none.
Cawradaada waa la qaawin doonaa, ceebtaadana waa la arki doonaa. Waan aarsan doonaa, oo ninna uma tudhi doono.
4 Our Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts is his name, The Holy One of Israel.
Bixiyahayaga magiciisa waxaa la yidhaahdaa Rabbiga ciidammada oo ah Kan Quduuska ah ee reer binu Israa'iil.
5 Sit thou in silence; go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldaeans! For thou shalt no more be called the mistress of kingdoms.
Magaalada reer Kaldayiinay, shib dheh oo fadhiiso, meel gudcur ah gal, waayo, mar dambe laguuguma yeedhi doono sayidaddii boqortooyooyinka.
6 I was angry with my people; I profaned my inheritance, And gave them into thy hand; Thou didst show them no mercy; Even upon the aged didst thou lay a very grievous yoke.
Waxaan u cadhooday dadkaygii, oo dhaxalkaygii nijaas baan ka dhigay, oo adigaan gacanta kuu geliyey. Innaba iyagii uma aadan naxariisan, oo dadka gaboobay ayaad harqoodkaagii wax culus kaga dhigtay.
7 Thou saidst, “I shall be mistress forever”; So that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, Nor consider what would be the end of them.
Waxaad istidhi, Anigu weligayba waxaan ahaan doonaa sayidad, oo waxyaalahanna qalbiga ma aad gelin, oo ugudambaystoodiina sooma aadan xusuusan.
8 But hear thou this, thou that art given to pleasure! That sittest in security, And sayest in thy heart, “I am, and there is none besides me; I shall not be a widow, Nor see myself childless!”
Haddaba bal waxyaalahan maqal, taada iska raaxaysata oo istareexa ku joogtoy. Waxaad qalbiga iska tidhaahdaa, Anigaa ah oo aniga mooyaane cid kale ma jirto, anigu innaba carmal ma noqon doono, oo ma gablami doono.
9 Behold, both these things shall come upon thee suddenly, in one day, Loss of children, and widowhood; In full measure shall they come upon thee, In spite of thy many sorceries, And the great abundance of thy enchantments.
Laakiinse labadan waxyaalood isku maalin qudha ayay isku daqiiqad kuu iman doonaan, waana gablannimo iyo carmalnimo. Aad iyo aad bay kuugu soo degi doonaan in kastoo aad saaxirnimo badan iyo falfal tiro badan badisay.
10 Thou didst trust in thy wickedness, and saidst, “No one seeth me”; Thy wisdom and thy knowledge have led thee astray; Thou saidst in thy heart, “I am, and there is none besides me”;
Waayo, waxaad isku hallaysay sharnimadaada, oo waxaad istidhi, Ninna ima arko. Waxaa ku qalday xigmaddaada iyo aqoontaada, oo waxaad qalbiga iska tidhi, Anigaa ah, oo aniga mooyaane cid kale ma jirto.
11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee, of which thou shalt not know the dawn; And mischief shall fall upon thee, which thou shalt not be able to expiate; Suddenly shall desolation come upon thee, when thou thinkest not of it.
Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed masiibo baa kugu soo degi doonta, mana aad garan doontid si ay kuugu iman doonto, belaayaa kugu dhici doonta, oo mana aad kari doontid inaad iska fogaysid, oo baabbi'id baa si kedis ah kuugu soo degi doonta, taasoo aadan aqoon.
12 Persevere now in thy enchantments; In the multitude of thy sorceries, in which thou hast labored from thy youth; Perhaps thou mayst be profited by them! Perhaps thou mayst make thyself feared!
Haddaad ku faa'iidi karaysid iyo haddaad ku adkaan karaysid, bal haatan la soo istaag falfalkaaga iyo saaxirnimadaada faraha badan oo aad tan iyo yaraantaadii ku soo hawshoonaysay.
13 Art thou wearied with thy many devices? Let them stand up, then, and save thee, The observers of the heavens, the star-gazers, They that prognosticate at every new moon The things that shall come upon thee!
Waxaad ku daashay talooyinkaagii tirada badnaa, haddaba xiddigayaqaannada, iyo xiddigasheegyada, iyo xilliyasheegyaduba ha sara joogsadeen, oo ha kaa badbaadiyeen waxyaalaha kugu soo degi doona.
14 Behold, they shall be like stubble; the fire shall burn them up; They shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame; Not a coal shall be left of them to warm one, Nor a spark of fire to sit by.
Bal eeg, iyagu waxay noqon doonaan sida xaab oo kale, oo dabka ayaa wada gubi doona, oo iyana xoogga ololka iskama ay samatabbixin doonaan, oo dabkaasuna ma ahaan doono dhuxul la kulaalo, amase dab la hor fadhiisto.
15 Thus shall it be with them with whom thou hast labored; Thus with them with whom thou hast trafficked from thy youth; They shall go every one his own way; None shall help thee.
Saasay kuu noqon doonaan waxyaalihii aad ku hawshootay, oo kuwii aad macaamilada la lahayd tan iyo yaraantaadii midkood kastaaba meeshiisuu tegi doonaa, oo mid ku badbaadiyana ma jiri doono.
