Isaiah 12

1 In that day shalt thou say, “I will praise thee, O Jehovah, for, though thou hast been angry with me, Thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortest me.

সেদিন তুমি বলবে: “হে সদাপ্রভু, আমি তোমার প্রশংসা করব। তুমি যদিও আমার উপরে ক্রুদ্ধ ছিলে, তোমার ক্রোধ কিন্তু ফিরে গেছে, আর তুমি আমাকে সান্ত্বনা দিয়েছ।

2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; For Jehovah is my glory, and my song; It is he who was my salvation.”

নিশ্চয়ই ঈশ্বর আমার পরিত্রাণ; আমি আস্থা রাখব ও ভয় পাব না। সদাপ্রভু, সদাপ্রভুই আমার শক্তি ও আমার গান; তিনি আমার পরিত্রাণ হয়েছেন।”

3 Ye shall draw waters with joy from the fountains of salvation;

তোমরা পরিত্রাণের কুয়োগুলি থেকে আনন্দের সঙ্গে জল তুলে আনবে।

4 And in that day ye shall say, “Give thanks to Jehovah; call upon his name; Make known his deeds among the people; Give praises, for his name is exalted!

সেদিন তোমরা বলবে: “সদাপ্রভুকে ধন্যবাদ দাও, তাঁর নামে ডাকো; তাঁর কৃত সমস্ত কর্ম জাতিসমূহকে জানাও, তাঁর নাম উচ্চ বলে ঘোষণা করো।

5 Sing to Jehovah, for he hath done glorious things; Be this known in all the earth!

সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে গীত গাও, কারণ তিনি মহিমাময় অনেক কাজ করেছেন; সমস্ত জগৎকে একথা জানাও।

6 Cry aloud, shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee!”

সিয়োনের লোকেরা, তোমরা চিৎকার করো ও আনন্দে গান গাও, কারণ ইস্রায়েলের সেই পবিত্রতম জন তোমাদের মধ্যে মহান।”
