< Hebrews 8 >
1 Now the principal thing among those of which we are speaking is this: We have such a high-priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
Ei misîr lâia abipuitak chu mahi ani, Ochai Inlaltak invâna Rêng Inchungtak rêngsukmun changtienga hong insung ei dôn ani.
2 a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man.
Miriem kutsin niloi, Pumapa sin puon-in tatak Mun Inthieng taka Ochai Inlaltak angin sin a tho ani.
3 For every high-priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; whence it is necessary that this one also have something which he may offer.
Ochai Inlaltak ngei murdi'n neinunpêk le sa inbôlna Pathien kôma pêk rangin phun an nia, Masikin ei Ochai Inlaltak khom hin imini chu pêk rang a dôn ngêt rang anâng ani.
4 For if, indeed, he were on earth, he would not be a priest, since there are those that offer the gifts according to the Law;
Ama hah pilchunga om senla chu, ama chu ochai reng ni tet no nih, Juda Balama neinunpêk anâng ngei pêk ngâi ochaingei an om sikin.
5 who serve the mere delineation and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was admonished by God when he was about to make the tabernacle; for, “See,” saith he, “that thou make all things according to the pattern which was shown thee in the mount.”
Ochaingei sintho ngâi hah chu invâna neinunngei rimil le rilîm tatak vaike ani. Moses'n Chonginkhitna Puon-in a sin rang lâia phuozekin Pathien'n a kôm, “Ni sin rang tie chu muola a rimil min mua no om ngei angtakin sin rangin mindon roh,” tia a ril anghan.
6 But now he hath obtained a more excellent ministry, in proportion as he is the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been established upon better promises.
Aniatachu, atûn chu, anni ngei nêka ânchung uol ochai sin hah Jisua pêkin a om zoi, Pathien le a mingei kâra chonginkhit a minsûk hah asa uola, ma chonginkhâm hah neinun asa uol ngeia minding ani sikin.
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then a place would not have been sought for a second.
Chonginkhitna masa hah dikloina om no senla chu, a inik changna hah hong om rang nâng no nih.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith: “Behold, the days are coming, saith the Lord, when I will make with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah a new covenant;
Aniatachu Pathien'n a mingei dikloina a man lâihan a tia, “Nikhuo ngei ahongtung rang ani zoi, Israel mingei le Juda mingei chonginkhitna athar ki sin pe ngei rang nikhuo ngei hah, Pumapa'n a ti.
9 not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers, in the day when I took them by the hand, to bring them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
An richibulngei Egypt renga hong tuong ngei ranga an kuta ku sûr nia Chonginkhit ki sin anghan chu ni khâi no nih. Anni ngei leh Chonginkhit ki sina han taksôn omin om mak ngeia, masikin anni ngei hah lunghâng tho ngei khâi mu-ung ani.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord: I will put my laws into their mind, and on their hearts will I write them; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.
Atûn, nikhuo hong tung rang ngeia Israel mingei leh chonginkhit ki sin rang chu mahih ani, Pumapa'n a tia: An mulungsûnga ka balam ngei dar ka ta male an mulungrîl ngeia miziek sâng ki tih. Keima an Pathien nîng ka ta, male anni ngei hah ki mingei nîng an tih.
11 And they shall not teach every one his fellow-citizen, and every one his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
Tutên, ‘Pumapa hah riet roh,’ tiin an miriem champui mini aninônchu an ramsûng miriem champui minîn an minchu ngei nâng khâi noni ngei. Achîntak renga alientak tena min riet let rang anni zoi sikin.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more.”
An sietnangei ngâidam ka ta, an minchâina ngei riettit khâi no ning.”
13 In that he saith, “a new covenant,” he hath made the first old; but that which is becoming old, and worn out with age, is ready to vanish away.
Chonginkhit thar a ti sikin, Pathien'n amotona ha chu a muruon a sin zoi; male neinuntin amuruo hong changa mangsaloi ngei chu inmang lai atih zoi.
