< Hebrews 8 >
1 Now the principal thing among those of which we are speaking is this: We have such a high-priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
Seng ih roop liihi ah langla timthan ese ah romwah Phokhothoon ah, heh ah Rangte Esa nyia luuwang loong tongtheng dakchah ko ni rangmong ni tongla.
2 a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man.
Heh ah romwah phokhothoon ang ano thoontang nang ih Esa Taang Thoon adi reela, erah ah Rangte ih hoon arah amiimi nyutaap adi reela, mina loong lak ih hoon arah tah angka.
3 For every high-priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; whence it is necessary that this one also have something which he may offer.
Timthan romwah phokhothoon dan jeeta erah loong ah asithiik kot suh nyia huiawak dook ano Rangte suh khojoop hoon suh dan jeeta, eno erah raangtaan ih seng Romwah Phokhothoon eh uh khojoop jooptheng timjih uh eje angtheng.
4 For if, indeed, he were on earth, he would not be a priest, since there are those that offer the gifts according to the Law;
Heh ah hatoh nah angta bah, heh ah romwah tah jaatjaat ang thengta, mamah liidih Jehudi Hootthe ih jamha ranglakkot ah kot suh romwah wahoh loong eje ang rumta.
5 who serve the mere delineation and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was admonished by God when he was about to make the tabernacle; for, “See,” saith he, “that thou make all things according to the pattern which was shown thee in the mount.”
Romwah likhiik re rumla rah amiimiisak marah rangmong ni angla erah likhiik jaatjaat ih re rumla. Arah loong ah Moses damdi mamah angta erah likhiik angla. Esa nyutaap ehoon nanah di Rangte ih baatta, “Marah kong ni noisok taho erah likhiikkhiik hoon suh nak beehaat uh, an ten nah khomthun uh.”
6 But now he hath obtained a more excellent ministry, in proportion as he is the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been established upon better promises.
Enoothong belam bah, romwah mootkaat marah elongthoon angta ah Jisu jiinni, timnge liidih Rangte nyia heh mina laktung ni kakham eseethoon tiit ah khamta, mamah liidih kakham tiit adi nyaang baat ha.
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then a place would not have been sought for a second.
Jengthaak asuh jaakhoh dowa kakham tiit adoh lah thita bah, liwang kakham tiit ah tajam thengta.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith: “Behold, the days are coming, saith the Lord, when I will make with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah a new covenant;
Enoothong Rangte jengta adi heh mina loong thet re ah choh jota, “Saakaan loong ah ethok ehala, Teesu ih liiha, Ngah ih ena kakham Ijirel mina loong nyia Juda mina loong damdoh thin ang doh.
9 not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers, in the day when I took them by the hand, to bring them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
Erah kakham abah nengte nengwah loong suh hoontang ah likhiik tah angka ang ah, neng lak ni jorum angno Ijip nawa doksiit rumtang likhiik ah. Marah ngah ih neng damdi nuumiijeng hoontang adi neng tuungmaang ah tajeeta, erah raangtaan ih ngaathung ngaatak neng suh tah kotang.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord: I will put my laws into their mind, and on their hearts will I write them; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.
Belam, saathoi doh arah nuumiijeng Ijirel mina loong suh hoonhang, teesu ih liiha: Neng thung nah nga hotthe loong ah thun thuk rum ang nyia neng ten nah raang rum ang. Ngah neng Rangte ang ang, eno neng ah nga mina ang rum ah.
11 And they shall not teach every one his fellow-citizen, and every one his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
Ngo ih uh neng phoh ano laktung nah nyoot theng tah angka adoleh nengkhuung nengtok nah baat mui theng tah angka. ‘Teesu ah jat uh ngeh ah.’ Timnge liidih neng ih ngah ejat eh rumte ang halang, mihak nodek thoontang ih jat rumte ang rum halang.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more.”
Neng rangdah loong ah biin anaan erum ang eno neng thet re ah takah dokthun rum kang.”
13 In that he saith, “a new covenant,” he hath made the first old; but that which is becoming old, and worn out with age, is ready to vanish away.
Nuumiijeng ena tiit ah baat ang bah, Rangte ih phangkhoh ah ehak ih hoon thukla; eno tim ang abah uh ehak ih hoonta no nyia thiita no seek ih thih ah.
