Hebrews 4
1 Let us then fear, since a promise is still left us of entering into his rest, lest any one of you should appear to fail of obtaining it.
అపరం తద్విశ్రామప్రాప్తేః ప్రతిజ్ఞా యది తిష్ఠతి తర్హ్యస్మాకం కశ్చిత్ చేత్ తస్యాః ఫలేన వఞ్చితో భవేత్ వయమ్ ఏతస్మాద్ బిభీమః|
2 For to us were glad tidings addressed, as well as to them; but the word which was heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
యతో ఽస్మాకం సమీపే యద్వత్ తద్వత్ తేషాం సమీపేఽపి సుసంవాదః ప్రచారితో ఽభవత్ కిన్తు తైః శ్రుతం వాక్యం తాన్ ప్రతి నిష్ఫలమ్ అభవత్, యతస్తే శ్రోతారో విశ్వాసేన సార్ద్ధం తన్నామిశ్రయన్|
3 For we who believed enter into the rest, as he hath said: “So I swore in my wrath, they shall not enter into my rest;” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
తద్ విశ్రామస్థానం విశ్వాసిభిరస్మాభిః ప్రవిశ్యతే యతస్తేనోక్తం, "అహం కోపాత్ శపథం కృతవాన్ ఇమం, ప్రవేక్ష్యతే జనైరేతై ర్న విశ్రామస్థలం మమ| " కిన్తు తస్య కర్మ్మాణి జగతః సృష్టికాలాత్ సమాప్తాని సన్తి|
4 For he hath spoken in a certain place of the seventh day thus: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works;”
యతః కస్మింశ్చిత్ స్థానే సప్తమం దినమధి తేనేదమ్ ఉక్తం, యథా, "ఈశ్వరః సప్తమే దినే స్వకృతేభ్యః సర్వ్వకర్మ్మభ్యో విశశ్రామ| "
5 and in this place again: “They shall not enter into my rest.”
కిన్త్వేతస్మిన్ స్థానే పునస్తేనోచ్యతే, యథా, "ప్రవేక్ష్యతే జనైరేతై ర్న విశ్రామస్థలం మమ| "
6 Since then it still remaineth for some to enter into it, and they to whom the glad tidings of it were first brought did not enter in because of disobedience,
ఫలతస్తత్ స్థానం కైశ్చిత్ ప్రవేష్టవ్యం కిన్తు యే పురా సుసంవాదం శ్రుతవన్తస్తైరవిశ్వాసాత్ తన్న ప్రవిష్టమ్,
7 he again appointeth a certain day, “To-day”—saying in David so long a time after, as hath before been said—”To-day, if ye hear his voice, harden not your hearts.”
ఇతి హేతోః స పునరద్యనామకం దినం నిరూప్య దీర్ఘకాలే గతేఽపి పూర్వ్వోక్తాం వాచం దాయూదా కథయతి, యథా, "అద్య యూయం కథాం తస్య యది సంశ్రోతుమిచ్ఛథ, తర్హి మా కురుతేదానీం కఠినాని మనాంసి వః| "
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not after this be speaking of another day.
అపరం యిహోశూయో యది తాన్ వ్యశ్రామయిష్యత్ తర్హి తతః పరమ్ అపరస్య దినస్య వాగ్ ఈశ్వరేణ నాకథయిష్యత|
9 There remaineth therefore a sabbath-rest to the people of God.
అత ఈశ్వరస్య ప్రజాభిః కర్త్తవ్య ఏకో విశ్రామస్తిష్ఠతి|
10 For he that hath entered into his rest, hath himself rested from his works, as God did from his own.
అపరమ్ ఈశ్వరో యద్వత్ స్వకృతకర్మ్మభ్యో విశశ్రామ తద్వత్ తస్య విశ్రామస్థానం ప్రవిష్టో జనోఽపి స్వకృతకర్మ్మభ్యో విశ్రామ్యతి|
11 Let us then strive to enter into that rest, that no one may fall, as a like example of disobedience.
అతో వయం తద్ విశ్రామస్థానం ప్రవేష్టుం యతామహై, తదవిశ్వాసోదాహరణేన కోఽపి న పతతు|
12 For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, both the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart;
ఈశ్వరస్య వాదోఽమరః ప్రభావవిశిష్టశ్చ సర్వ్వస్మాద్ ద్విధారఖఙ్గాదపి తీక్ష్ణః, అపరం ప్రాణాత్మనో ర్గ్రన్థిమజ్జయోశ్చ పరిభేదాయ విచ్ఛేదకారీ మనసశ్చ సఙ్కల్పానామ్ అభిప్రేతానాఞ్చ విచారకః|
13 and there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight; but all things are naked and laid open to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
అపరం యస్య సమీపే స్వీయా స్వీయా కథాస్మాభిః కథయితవ్యా తస్యాగోచరః కోఽపి ప్రాణీ నాస్తి తస్య దృష్టౌ సర్వ్వమేవానావృతం ప్రకాశితఞ్చాస్తే|
14 Since, then, we have a great high-priest, who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
అపరం య ఉచ్చతమం స్వర్గం ప్రవిష్ట ఏతాదృశ ఏకో వ్యక్తిరర్థత ఈశ్వరస్య పుత్రో యీశురస్మాకం మహాయాజకోఽస్తి, అతో హేతో ర్వయం ధర్మ్మప్రతిజ్ఞాం దృఢమ్ ఆలమ్బామహై|
15 For we have not a high-priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who hath in all points been tempted as we are, without sin.
అస్మాకం యో మహాయాజకో ఽస్తి సోఽస్మాకం దుఃఖై ర్దుఃఖితో భవితుమ్ అశక్తో నహి కిన్తు పాపం వినా సర్వ్వవిషయే వయమివ పరీక్షితః|
16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
అతఏవ కృపాం గ్రహీతుం ప్రయోజనీయోపకారార్థమ్ అనుగ్రహం ప్రాప్తుఞ్చ వయమ్ ఉత్సాహేనానుగ్రహసింహాసనస్య సమీపం యామః|
