Haggai 2
1 In the seventh month, on the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of Jehovah by the prophet Haggai, saying:
၁သတ္တမ လ နှစ်ဆယ် တ ရက်နေ့တွင် ၊ ပရောဖက် ဟဂ္ဂဲ အားဖြင့် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော် ရောက် လာ၍၊
2 Speak now to Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua, the son of Josedech, the high-priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying: —
၂သင်သည် ယုဒ မြို့ဝန် ၊ ရှာလသေလ သား ဇေရုဗဗေလ နှင့် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် မင်း ယောဇဒက် သား ယောရှု မှစ၍ကျန် ကြွင်းသောသူ တို့အား ဆင့်ဆို ရမည်မှာ၊
3 Who is there left among you, That saw this house In its former glory? And what do ye see it now? Is it not as nothing in your eyes?
၃ဤ အိမ် တော်သည် ရှေး ဘုန်း နှင့် ပြည့်စုံသည်ကို မြင် ဘူး၍ သင် တို့တွင် ကျန် ကြွင်းသော သူ ကား အဘယ်သူ နည်း။ ယခု အဘယ် အရာကို မြင် သနည်း။ နှိုင်းယှဉ်လျှင် သင် တို့မျက်မှောက် ၌ အဘယ် မျှမဟုတ်သကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်သည်မ ဟုတ်လော။
4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith Jehovah; And be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high-priest; And be strong, O all ye people of the land, saith Jehovah, and work! For I am with you, saith Jehovah of hosts.
၄သို့သော်လည်း ၊ အိုဇေရုဗဗေလ ၊ အား ယူလော့ ဟု၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ အို ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် မင်း ယောဇဒက် သား ယောရှု ၊ အား ယူလော့။ အိုပြည် သူ ပြည် သားအပေါင်း တို့၊ အား ယူကြလော့ဟု၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
5 This is the covenant which I made with you when ye came out of Egypt, And my spirit remaineth among you: Fear ye not!
၅အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်မှ ထွက် သောအခါ သင် တို့နှင့် ငါဖွဲ့ သော ပဋိညာဉ်စကား နှင့်အညီ ငါ သည် သင် တို့နှင့်အတူ ရှိ၏။ ငါ ၏ဝိညာဉ် တော်သည် သင် တို့တွင် နေရာ ကျ၏။ မ စိုးရိမ် ကြနှင့်ဟု၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
6 For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Yet once more, in a short time, I will shake the heavens and the earth, The sea and the dry land.
၆ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ကာလမကြာမမြင့် မှီကောင်းကင် ၊ မြေကြီး ၊ ပင်လယ် ၊ ကုန်း တို့ကို တဖန် ငါ လှုပ် ဦးမည်။
7 I will shake all the nations, And here shall come the precious things of all the nations; And I will fill this house with glory, Saith Jehovah of hosts.
၇လူမျိုး အပေါင်း တို့ကိုလည်း ငါလှုပ် ဦးမည်။ လူမျိုး အပေါင်း တို့ နှစ်သက် ဘွယ်သောအရာသည် ရောက် ၍ ၊ ဤ အိမ် ကို ဘုန်း နှင့် ငါပြည့်စုံ စေမည်ဟု၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
8 Mine is the silver and mine the gold, Saith Jehovah of hosts;
၈ရွှေ နှင့် ငွေ ကို ငါ ပိုင် သည်ဟု၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
9 Greater shall be the glory of this latter house than of the former, Saith Jehovah of hosts; And in this place will I give peace, Saith Jehovah of hosts.
၉နောက် တည်သော ဤ အိမ် တော်သည် အရင် အိမ်တော်ထက် ဘုန်း သာ၍ကြီး လိမ့်မည် ဟု၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ ဤ အရပ် ၌ လည်း ငြိမ်သက် ခြင်းကို ငါပေး မည်ဟု၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
10 On the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of Jehovah by Haggai the prophet, saying,
၁၀ဒါရိ မင်းကြီးနန်းစံနှစ် နှစ် ၊ နဝမ လနှစ်ဆယ် လေး ရက်နေ့ တွင် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏နှုတ်ကပတ် တော် သည် ပရောဖက် ဟဂ္ဂဲ အားဖြင့်ရောက် လာလျက်၊
11 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Ask now the law from the priests, saying,
၁၁ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား က၊ သင်သည် တရား အမှုကို ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ၌ မေးမြန်း ရမည် မှာ၊
12 If a man carry holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any food, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
၁၂လူ သည် သန့်ရှင်း သော အမဲသား ကို မိမိ အဝတ် နှင့် ထုတ် ၍ ဆောင် ခဲ့လျက် ၊ မုန့် ၊ ဟင်း ၊ စပျစ်ရည် ၊ ဆီ အစရှိသော စားစရာ တစုံတခု ကို ထိုအဝတ် နှင့် ထိ လျှင် ၊ ထိုစားစရာသည် သန့်ရှင်း လိမ့်မည်လောဟု မေးမြန်း သော် ၊ ယဇ် ပုရောဟိတ်တို့က၊ ထိုစားစရာသည် မ သန့်ရှင်းဟု ပြန်ပြော ကြ၏။
13 Then said Haggai, If a man unclean by a dead body touch any of these things, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
၁၃ဟဂ္ဂဲ ကလည်း ၊ အသေ ကောင်အားဖြင့် မ စင်ကြယ်သော သူသည် ထို အရာတစုံတခု ကိုထိ လျှင် ညစ်ညူး ခြင်း ရှိလိမ့်မည်လောဟု မေးမြန်း သော် ၊ ယဇ် ပုရောဟိတ်တို့က၊ ညစ်ညူး ခြင်းရှိလိမ့်မည်ဟု ပြန်ပြော ကြ၏။
14 Then answered Haggai and said: — So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith Jehovah; And so is all the work of their hands; And that which they offer there is unclean.
၁၄ဟဂ္ဂဲ ကလည်း ၊ ဤ လူမျိုး ၊ ဤ ပြည်သား တို့သည် ငါ့ မျက်မှောက် ၌ ထိုအတူဖြစ်ကြ၏။ သူ တို့လုပ်ဆောင် သမျှ သည် လည်း ထိုအတူ ဖြစ်၏။ ငါ့ထံမှာပူဇော် သော အရာသည်လည်း ညစ်ညူး ၏ဟု၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ ၏။
15 And now, I pray you, consider [[how it hath gone with you]] From that day and upward, From the time before one stone was laid upon another in the temple of Jehovah.
၁၅ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ဗိမာန် တော်၌ ကျောက် တခု ပေါ် မှာ တခုကို မ တင် မှီ၊ ယခု နေ့ မှစ၍ အထက် အမှုကို ပြန်ကြည့်ဆင်ခြင် ကြပါလော့။
16 Since that time one hath come to a heap of twenty measures, And there were but ten; One hath come to a vat to draw out fifty vessels from the wine-press, And there were but twenty;
၁၆ထိုကာလတွင် ဆန်အတင်းနှစ်ဆယ် ထွက်ရသော စပါး ပုံသို့ လူလာ သောအခါ တဆယ် ကိုသာ ရ ၏။ စပျစ်ရည် အိုးငါးဆယ် ကို ယူ ခြင်းငှါ စပျစ်သီး နယ်ရာကျင်း သို့ လာ သောအခါ နှစ်ဆယ် ကိုသာ ရ ၏။
17 I have smitten you with blasting, with mildew, and with hail, Even all the works of your hands; Yet none among you hath turned to me, saith Jehovah.
၁၇သင် တို့လုပ်ဆောင် သမျှ တို့တွင် လေထိ၍ အပင်သေဘေး၊ အရည်ယို၍ သေဘေးဖြင့် ငါသည် ဒဏ်ခတ် ခဲ့ပြီ။ သို့သော်လည်း ၊ သင် တို့သည် ငါ့ ထံ သို့ပြန်၍ မလာကြဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
18 Consider, I pray you, From that day and upward, From the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, From the day when the foundation of the temple of Jehovah was laid, Consider ye!
၁၈ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ဗိမာန် တော်တိုက်မြစ် ကျ၍၊ နဝမ လ နှစ်ဆယ် လေး ရက်နေ့ ၊ ယခု နေ့ မှစ၍ ရှေ့သို့ မျှော်ကြည့် ဆင်ခြင် ကြပါလော့။ ဆင်ခြင် ရမည် အကြောင်းအရာ ဟူမူကား၊
19 Is there yet seed in the barn? Yea, as yet the vine, and the fig-tree, and pomegranate, and the olive-tree have not borne. But from this day will I bless you.
၁၉စပါး ကျီ၌ စပါး ရှိသလော။ မရှိ။ စပျစ် ပင်၊ သင်္ဘောသဖန်း ပင်၊ သလဲ ပင်၊ သံလွင် ပင် တို့သည် အသီး ကို မ သီးကြသေး။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ယနေ့ မှစ၍ သင်တို့ကို ငါကောင်းကြီး ပေးမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
20 And the word of Jehovah came the second time to Haggai, on the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,
၂၀ထိုလ နှစ်ဆယ် လေး ရက်နေ့တွင် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်သည် ဟဂ္ဂဲ သို့ တဖန် ရောက် လာ၍၊
21 Speak to Zerubbabel, the governor of Judah, and say: — I will shake the heavens and the earth,
၂၁သင်သည် ယုဒ မြို့ဝန် ၊ ဇေရုဗဗေလ ကို ဆင့် ဆိုရမည်မှာ၊ ငါ သည် ကောင်းကင် နှင့် မြေကြီး ကို လှုပ် မည်။
22 And I will overthrow the thrones of kingdoms, And I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations, And I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them, And the horses and their riders shall come down, One by the sword of the other.
၂၂တိုင်း နိုင်ငံတို့၏ ရာဇ ပလ္လင်များကို မှောက်လှန် ၍ ၊ အမျိုးမျိုး သော တိုင်း နိုင်ငံတန်ခိုး ကို ဖျက်ဆီး မည်။ ရထား နှင့် ရထား စီး သူရဲတို့ ကိုလည်း မှောက်လှန် မည်။ မြင်း နှင့် မြင်း စီး သူရဲ တို့သည် တယောက် ကို တယောက်ခုတ် ၍ လဲ ကြလိမ့်မည်။
23 In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, I will take thee, O Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, my servant, saith Jehovah, And keep thee as a signet-ring; For thee have I chosen, saith Jehovah of hosts.
၂၃ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ အို ရှာလသေလ သား ၊ ငါ့ ကျွန် ဇေရုဗဗေလ ၊ ထိုအခါ သင့် ကိုငါယူ ၍ တံဆိပ် လက်စွပ်ကဲ့သို့ ခန့် ထားမည်ဟု၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ သင့် ကို ငါရွေးချယ် ပြီဟု၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
