Haggai 1
1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, came the word of Jehovah by Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua, the son of Josedech, the high-priest, saying,
Ын анул ал дойля ал ымпэратулуй Дариус, ын зиуа ынтый а луний а шася, кувынтул Домнулуй а ворбит прин пророкул Хагай кэтре Зоробабел, фиул луй Шеалтиел, дрегэторул луй Иуда, ши кэтре Иосуа, фиул луй Иоцадак, мареле преот, астфел:
2 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: This people saith, The time is not yet come, the time that the house of Jehovah should be built.
„Аша ворбеште Домнул оштирилор: ‘Попорул ачеста зиче: «Н-а венит ынкэ время пентру зидиря дин ноу а Касей Домнулуй!»’”
3 But the word of Jehovah hath come by Haggai the prophet, saying: —
Де ачея кувынтул Домнулуй ле-а ворбит прин пророкул Хагай астфел:
4 Is it, then, a time for yourselves To dwell in ceiled houses, While this house lieth waste?
„Дар пентру вой а венит оаре время сэ локуиць ын касе кэптушите ку таван, кынд Каса ачаста есте дэрыматэ?”
5 Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Consider how it goeth with you!
Аша ворбеште акум Домнул оштирилор: „Уйтаци-вэ ку бэгаре де сямэ ла кэиле воастре!
6 Ye sow much, and bring in little; Ye eat, but are not full; Ye drink, but are not satisfied; Ye clothe yourselves, but are not warmed; And he that earneth wages earneth them for a purse with holes.
Семэнаць мулт ши стрынӂець пуцин; мынкаць ши тот ну вэ сэтураць; бець ши тот ну вэ потолиць сетя; вэ ымбрэкаць ши тот ну вэ есте калд ши чине кыштигэ о симбрие о пуне ынтр-о пунгэ спартэ!”
7 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Consider how it goeth with you!
Аша ворбеште Домнул оштирилор: „Уйтаци-вэ ку бэгаре де сямэ ла кэиле воастре!
8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house, That I may have pleasure therein, And be glorified, saith Jehovah.
Суици-вэ пе мунте, адучець лемне ши зидиць Каса! Еу Мэ вой букура де лукрул ачеста ши вой фи прослэвит”, зиче Домнул.
9 Ye look for much, and lo, it cometh to little; And when ye bring it home, I blow it away; And why? saith Jehovah of hosts. Because of my house which lieth waste, While ye run every one to his own house.
„Вэ аштептаць ла мулт, ши ятэ кэ аць авут пуцин; л-аць адус акасэ, дар Еу л-ам суфлат. Пентру че?”, зиче Домнул оштирилор. „Дин причина Касей Меле, каре стэ дэрыматэ, пе кынд фиекаре дин вой аляргэ пентру каса луй.
10 Therefore the heaven over you withholdeth the dew, And the earth refuseth her fruit.
Де ачея черуриле ну в-ау дат роуа ши пэмынтул ну шь-а дат роаделе.
11 And I have called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains; And upon the corn, and the new wine, and the oil; Upon that which the ground bringeth forth, And upon men, and upon cattle, And upon all the labor of the hands.
Ам кемат сечета песте царэ, песте мунць, песте грыу, песте муст, песте унтделемн, песте тот че поате адуче пэмынтул, песте оамень ши песте вите ши песте тот лукрул мынилор воастре.”
12 Then Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua, the son of Josedech, the high-priest, and all the remnant of people, hearkened to the voice of Jehovah their God, and to the words of Haggai the prophet, as Jehovah their God had sent him; and the people feared before Jehovah.
Зоробабел, фиул луй Шеалтиел, Иосуа, фиул луй Иоцадак, мареле преот, ши тоатэ рэмэшица попорулуй ау аскултат гласул Домнулуй Думнезеулуй лор ши кувинтеле пророкулуй Хагай, фииндкэ Домнул Думнезеул лор ыл тримисесе. Ши попорул с-а темут де Домнул.
13 Then spake Haggai, the messenger of Jehovah, by a message from Jehovah to the people, saying, I am with you, saith Jehovah.
Хагай, тримисул Домнулуй, а зис попорулуй, дупэ порунка Домнулуй: „Еу сунт ку вой, зиче Домнул.”
14 And Jehovah stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua, the son of Josedech, the high-priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of people, so that they came and executed work upon the house of Jehovah of hosts, their God,
Домнул а трезит духул луй Зоробабел, фиул луй Шеалтиел, дрегэторул луй Иуда, ши духул луй Иосуа, фиул луй Иоцадак, мареле преот, ши духул ынтреӂий рэмэшице а попорулуй. Аша кэ ей ау венит ши с-ау пус пе лукру ын Каса Домнулуй оштирилор, Думнезеул лор,
15 on the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
ын зиуа а доуэзечь ши патра а луний а шася, ын анул ал дойля ал ымпэратулуй Дариус.
