Galatians 4
1 Now I say, that the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth in no respect from a bond-servant, though he is lord of all;
อหํ วทามิ สมฺปทธิการี ยาวทฺ พาลสฺติษฺฐติ ตาวตฺ สรฺวฺวสฺวสฺยาธิปติ: สนฺนปิ ส ทาสาตฺ เกนาปิ วิษเยณ น วิศิษฺยเต
2 but is under guardians and stewards, until the time appointed by the father.
กินฺตุ ปิตฺรา นิรูปิตํ สมยํ ยาวตฺ ปาลกานำ ธนาธฺยกฺษาณาญฺจ นิฆฺนสฺติษฺฐติฯ
3 So also we, when we were children, were in bondage under the rudiments of the world;
ตทฺวทฺ วยมปิ พาลฺยกาเล ทาสา อิว สํสารสฺยากฺษรมาลายา อธีนา อาสฺมเหฯ
4 but when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,
อนนฺตรํ สมเย สมฺปูรฺณตำ คตวติ วฺยวสฺถาธีนานำ โมจนารฺถมฺ
5 to redeem those under the Law, that we might be adopted as sons.
อสฺมากํ ปุตฺรตฺวปฺราปฺตฺยรฺถญฺเจศฺวร: สฺตฺริยา ชาตํ วฺยวสฺถายา อธินีภูตญฺจ สฺวปุตฺรํ เปฺรษิตวานฺฯ
6 And to show that ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father!
ยูยํ สนฺตานา อภวต ตตฺการณาทฺ อีศฺวร: สฺวปุตฺรสฺยาตฺมานำ ยุษฺมากมฺ อนฺต: กรณานิ ปฺรหิตวานฺ ส จาตฺมา ปิต: ปิตริตฺยาหฺวานํ การยติฯ
7 So then thou art no longer a bond-servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.
อต อิทานีํ ยูยํ น ทาสา: กินฺตุ: สนฺตานา เอว ตสฺมาตฺ สนฺตานตฺวาจฺจ ขฺรีษฺเฏเนศฺวรียสมฺปทธิการิโณ'ปฺยาเธฺวฯ
8 But at that time, indeed, when ye knew not God, ye were in slavery to those who in their nature are not gods;
อปรญฺจ ปูรฺวฺวํ ยูยมฺ อีศฺวรํ น ชฺญาตฺวา เย สฺวภาวโต'นีศฺวราเสฺตษำ ทาสเตฺว'ติษฺฐตฯ
9 but now, after having known God, or rather having been known by God, how is it that ye are turning back to the weak and beggarly rudiments to which ye wish to be again in bondage?
อิทานีมฺ อีศฺวรํ ชฺญาตฺวา ยทิ เวศฺวเรณ ชฺญาตา ยูยํ กถํ ปุนสฺตานิ วิผลานิ ตุจฺฉานิ จากฺษราณิ ปฺรติ ปราวรฺตฺติตุํ ศกฺนุถ? ยูยํ กึ ปุนเสฺตษำ ทาสา ภวิตุมิจฺฉถ?
10 Do ye observe days, and months, and times, and years?
ยูยํ ทิวสานฺ มาสานฺ ติถีนฺ สํวตฺสรำศฺจ สมฺมนฺยเธฺวฯ
11 I fear for you, lest I may have bestowed upon you labor in vain.
ยุษฺมทรฺถํ มยา ย: ปริศฺรโม'การิ ส วิผโล ชาต อิติ ยุษฺมานธฺยหํ พิเภมิฯ
12 Brethren, I beseech you, become as I am, for I also have become as ye are; ye injured me in nothing.
เห ภฺราตร: , อหํ ยาทฺฤโศ'สฺมิ ยูยมปิ ตาทฺฤศา ภวเตติ ปฺรารฺถเย ยโต'หมปิ ยุษฺมตฺตุโลฺย'ภวํ ยุษฺมาภิ รฺมม กิมปิ นาปราทฺธํฯ
13 Nay, ye know that it was on account of an infirmity of the flesh that I preached the gospel to you the former time,
ปูรฺวฺวมหํ กเลวรสฺย เทารฺพฺพเลฺยน ยุษฺมานฺ สุสํวาทมฺ อชฺญาปยมิติ ยูยํ ชานีถฯ
14 and my trial which was in my flesh ye did not despise nor spurn; but received me as an angel of God, yea, as Christ Jesus.
ตทานีํ มม ปรีกฺษกํ ศารีรเกฺลศํ ทฺฤษฺฏฺวา ยูยํ มามฺ อวชฺญาย ฤตียิตวนฺตสฺตนฺนหิ กินฺตฺวีศฺวรสฺย ทูตมิว สากฺษาตฺ ขฺรีษฺฏ ยีศุมิว วา มำ คฺฤหีตวนฺต: ฯ
15 How great then was your boasting of happiness! for I bear you witness, that if possible, ye would have plucked out your eyes, and have given them to me.
อตสฺตทานีํ ยุษฺมากํ ยา ธนฺยตาภวตฺ สา กฺก คตา? ตทานีํ ยูยํ ยทิ เสฺวษำ นยนานฺยุตฺปาฏฺย มหฺยํ ทาตุมฺ อศกฺษฺยต ตรฺหิ ตทปฺยกริษฺยเตติ ปฺรมาณมฺ อหํ ททามิฯ
16 So then, have I become your enemy because I tell you the truth?
สามฺปฺรตมหํ สตฺยวาทิตฺวาตฺ กึ ยุษฺมากํ ริปุ รฺชาโต'สฺมิ?
17 They show a zeal for you, but not in honesty; yea, they wish to exclude you, that ye may be zealous for them.
เต ยุษฺมตฺกฺฤเต สฺปรฺทฺธนฺเต กินฺตุ สา สฺปรฺทฺธา กุตฺสิตา ยโต ยูยํ ตานธิ ยตฺ สฺปรฺทฺธธฺวํ ตทรฺถํ เต ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺฤถกฺ กรฺตฺตุมฺ อิจฺฉนฺติฯ
18 But it is good to be an object of zeal in what is good always, and not only when I am present with you.
เกวลํ ยุษฺมตฺสมีเป มโมปสฺถิติสมเย ตนฺนหิ, กินฺตุ สรฺวฺวไทว ภทฺรมธิ สฺปรฺทฺธนํ ภทฺรํฯ
19 My children, with whom I am again in travail until Christ be formed in you, —
เห มม พาลกา: , ยุษฺมทนฺต รฺยาวตฺ ขฺรีษฺโฏ มูรฺติมานฺ น ภวติ ตาวทฺ ยุษฺมตฺการณาตฺ ปุน: ปฺรสวเวทเนว มม เวทนา ชายเตฯ
20 I could wish indeed to be present with you now, and to change my tone, for I am in perplexity about you.
อหมิทานีํ ยุษฺมากํ สนฺนิธึ คตฺวา สฺวรานฺตเรณ ยุษฺมานฺ สมฺภาษิตุํ กามเย ยโต ยุษฺมานธิ วฺยากุโล'สฺมิฯ
21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the Law, do ye not hear the Law?
เห วฺยวสฺถาธีนตากางฺกฺษิณ: ยูยํ กึ วฺยวสฺถายา วจนํ น คฺฤหฺลีถ?
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons; the one by the bondwoman, the other by the freewoman.
ตนฺมำ วทตฯ ลิขิตมาเสฺต, อิพฺราหีโม เทฺวา ปุตฺราวาสาเต ตโยเรโก ทาสฺยำ ทฺวิตียศฺจ ปตฺนฺยำ ชาต: ฯ
23 But the one by the bondwoman was born after the flesh; while the one by the freewoman was through the promise.
ตโย โรฺย ทาสฺยำ ชาต: ส ศารีริกนิยเมน ชชฺเญ ยศฺจ ปตฺนฺยำ ชาต: ส ปฺรติชฺญยา ชชฺเญฯ
24 Which things are written allegorically; for these women are two covenants; the one from Mount Sinai, who beareth children into bondage, which is Hagar;
อิทมาขฺยานํ ทฺฤษฺฏนฺตสฺวรูปํฯ เต เทฺว โยษิตาวีศฺวรียสนฺธี ตโยเรกา สีนยปรฺวฺวตาทฺ อุตฺปนฺนา ทาสชนยิตฺรี จ สา ตุ หาชิราฯ
25 for the word Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia; and she corresponds to the Jerusalem now existing, for she is in bondage with her children;
ยสฺมาทฺ หาชิราศพฺเทนารวเทศสฺถสีนยปรฺวฺวโต โพธฺยเต, สา จ วรฺตฺตมานายา ยิรูศาลมฺปุรฺยฺยา: สทฺฤศีฯ ยต: สฺวพาไล: สหิตา สา ทาสตฺว อาเสฺตฯ
26 but the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.
กินฺตุ สฺวรฺคียา ยิรูศาลมฺปุรี ปตฺนี สรฺเวฺวษามฺ อสฺมากํ มาตา จาเสฺตฯ
27 For it is written: “Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not; for many are the children of the desolate one, rather than of her who hath the husband.”
ยาทฺฤศํ ลิขิตมฺ อาเสฺต, "วนฺเธฺย สนฺตานหีเน ตฺวํ สฺวรํ ชยชยํ กุรุฯ อปฺรสูเต ตฺวโยลฺลาโส ชยาศพฺทศฺจ คียตำฯ ยต เอว สนาถายา โยษิต: สนฺตเต รฺคณาตฺฯ อนาถา ยา ภเวนฺนารี ตทปตฺยานิ ภูริศ: ๚ "
28 But ye, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of a promise.
เห ภฺราตฺฤคณ, อิมฺหากฺ อิว วยํ ปฺรติชฺญยา ชาตา: สนฺตานา: ฯ
29 But as at that time he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born through the Spirit, so it is now.
กินฺตุ ตทานีํ ศารีริกนิยเมน ชาต: ปุโตฺร ยทฺวทฺ อาตฺมิกนิยเมน ชาตํ ปุตฺรมฺ อุปาทฺรวตฺ ตถาธุนาปิฯ
30 But what saith the scripture? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son; for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.”
กินฺตุ ศาสฺเตฺร กึ ลิขิตํ? "ตฺวมฺ อิมำ ทาสีํ ตสฺยา: ปุตฺรญฺจาปสารย ยต เอษ ทาสีปุตฺร: ปตฺนีปุเตฺรณ สมํ โนตฺตราธิการี ภวิยฺยตีติฯ "
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of a bondwoman, but of the freewoman.
อเตอว เห ภฺราตร: , วยํ ทาสฺยา: สนฺตานา น ภูตฺวา ปาตฺนฺยา: สนฺตานา ภวาม: ฯ
