Ezekiel 6
1 And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
La Palabra de Yavé vino a mí:
2 Son of man, set thy face against the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them!
Hijo de hombre, pon tu rostro hacia las montañas de Israel y profetiza contra ellas:
3 And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah! Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the plains and to the valleys: Behold, I, even I, will bring the sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places;
Montañas de Israel, oigan la Palabra de ʼAdonay Yavé. ʼAdonay Yavé dice esto a las montañas y colinas, a los arroyos y a los valles: Ciertamente Yo mismo envío una espada sobre ustedes para destruir sus lugares altos.
4 and your altars shall be desolate, and your sun-images shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain before your idols.
Sus altares serán desolados y sus quemaderos de incienso serán destruidos. Caerán sus asesinados delante de sus ídolos.
5 And I will lay the carcasses of the sons of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
Echaré los cadáveres de los hijos de Israel delante de sus ídolos y esparciré sus huesos alrededor de sus altares.
6 In all places where ye dwell shall the cities be laid waste, and the high places be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken, and cease, and your sun-images may be cut down, and your works may be destroyed.
Las ciudades serán asoladas en todos los lugares donde vivan. Los lugares altos serán asolados hasta que queden arruinados, sus quemaderos de incienso destruidos, sus ídolos quebrados y destruidos, y sus imágenes del sol destruidas. Sus obras serán deshechas.
7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, that ye may know that I am Jehovah.
Los asesinados caerán entre ustedes. Y sabrán que Yo soy Yavé.
8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall have escaped the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
Pero cuando sean esparcidos por los países dejaré un remanente que escape de la espada de otras naciones.
9 And they of you that escape shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, when I have broken their whorish heart which departed from me, and their eyes which went lusting after their idols; and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
Entonces los que de ustedes escapen se acordarán de Mí en las naciones a las cuales sean llevados cautivos. Porque Yo fui quebrantado por su corazón adúltero que se apartó de Mí, y por sus ojos que se prostituyeron tras sus ídolos. Ellos se aborrecerán a sí mismos a causa de las maldades que cometieron, por todas sus repugnancias.
10 Then shall they know that I am Jehovah, and that I have not said in vain, that I would do all this evil to them.
Entonces sabrán que Yo soy Yavé. No dije en vano que les haría este mal.
11 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Smite upon thy hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence shall they fall.
ʼAdonay Yavé dice: Bate tus manos, pisotea y dí: ¡Ay, por causa de todas las graves repugnancias de la Casa de Israel, caerán por la espada, la hambruna y la pestilencia!
12 He that is far off shall die by pestilence, and he that is near shall fall by the sword, and he that remaineth and is preserved shall die by famine. Thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
El que esté lejos morirá de pestilencia. El que esté cerca caerá a espada. El que esté vivo y sitiado morirá de hambre. De esta manera desahogaré mi furor sobre ellos.
13 Then shall ye know that I am Jehovah, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, upon all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, in every place where they offered sweet savor to all their idols.
Entonces ustedes sabrán que Yo soy Yavé, cuando sus asesinados queden tendidos en medio de sus ídolos alrededor de sus altares, sobre toda colina elevada y en todas las cumbres de las montañas, y debajo de todo árbol frondoso y todo roble espeso, lugares donde ofrecieron aroma agradable a sus ídolos.
14 So will I stretch out my hand against them, and make the land desolate; yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
Por tanto extenderé mi mano contra ellos en todas sus moradas. En todos los lugares donde vivan, desde el desierto hasta Dibla, dejaré la tierra en desolación y asolamiento. Y sabrán que Yo soy Yavé.
