Ezekiel 4
1 And thou, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and portray upon it a city, even Jerusalem.
Und du, Menschenkind, nimm einen Ziegel; den lege vor dich und entwirf darauf die Stadt Jerusalem
2 And lay siege against it, and build a tower against it, and cast up a mound against it; set a camp also against it, and place battering-rams against it round about.
und mache eine Belagerung darum und baue ein Bollwerk darum und schütte einen Wall darum und mache ein Heerlager darum und stelle Sturmböcke rings um sie her.
3 Moreover, take thou an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city; and set thy face against it, that it may be besieged; and lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
Vor dich aber nimm eine eiserne Pfanne; die laß eine eiserne Mauer sein zwischen dir und der Stadt, und richte dein Angesicht gegen sie und belagere sie. Das sei ein Zeichen dem Hause Israel.
4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it. According to the number of days that thou shalt lie upon it, thou shalt bear their iniquity.
Du sollst dich auch auf deine linke Seite legen und die Missetat des Hauses Israel auf dieselbe legen; soviel Tage du darauf liegst, so lange sollst du auch ihre Missetat tragen.
5 But for the years of their iniquity I appoint thee days, three hundred and ninety days; so long shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
Ich will dir aber die Jahre ihrer Missetat zur Anzahl der Tage machen, nämlich dreihundertundneunzig Tage; so lange sollst du die Missetat des Hauses Israel tragen.
6 And when thou hast brought them to an end, then lie upon thy right side, and bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days. I have appointed thee a day for a year.
Und wenn du solches ausgerichtet hast, sollst du darnach dich auf deine rechte Seite legen und sollst tragen die Missetat des Hauses Juda vierzig Tage lang; denn ich gebe dir hier auch je einen Tag für ein Jahr.
7 And set thy face against besieged Jerusalem, and uncover thine arm, and prophesy against it!
Und richte dein Angesicht und deinen bloßen Arm wider das belagerte Jerusalem und weissage wider dasselbe.
8 And behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
Und sieh, ich will dir Stricke anlegen, daß du dich nicht wenden könnest von einer Seite zur andern, bis du die Tage deiner Belagerung vollendet hast.
9 Take thou also wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and spelt, and put them into one vessel, and make thereof thy bread for the number of days that thou shalt lie upon thy side; three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
So nimm nun zu dir Weizen, Gerste, Bohnen, Linsen, Hirse und Spelt und tue alles in ein Faß und mache dir Brot daraus, soviel Tage du auf deiner Seite liegst, daß du dreihundertundneunzig Tage daran zu essen hast,
10 And thy food which thou eatest shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time shalt thou eat it.
also daß deine Speise, die du täglich essen sollst, sei zwanzig Lot nach dem Gewicht. Solches sollst du von einer Zeit zur andern essen.
11 Thou shalt also drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin; from time to time shalt thou drink.
Das Wasser sollst du auch nach dem Maß trinken, nämlich das sechste Teil vom Hin, und sollst solches auch von einer Zeit zur andern trinken.
12 Thou shalt also eat barley-cakes; and with dung that cometh out of man shalt thou bake them in their sight.
Gerstenkuchen sollst du essen, die du vor ihren Augen auf Menschenmist backen sollst.
13 And Jehovah said, Even thus shall the sons of Israel eat their polluted food among the nations, whither I will drive them.
Und der HERR sprach: Also müssen die Kinder Israel ihr unreines Brot essen unter den Heiden, dahin ich sie verstoßen werde.
14 Then said I: Ah! Lord Jehovah, behold, I have never been polluted; for from my youth until now have I not eaten that which died of itself, or was torn in pieces; neither hath unclean food come into my mouth.
Ich aber sprach: Ach Herr HERR! siehe, meine Seele ist noch nie unrein geworden; denn ich habe von meiner Jugend auf bis auf diese Zeit kein Aas oder Zerrissenes gegessen, und ist nie unreines Fleisch in meinen Mund gekommen.
15 Then he said to me: Behold, I give thee cow's dung for man's dung; and with that shalt thou prepare thy food.
Er aber sprach zu mir: Siehe, ich will dir Kuhmist für Menschenmist zulassen, darauf du dein Brot machen sollst.
16 And he said to me: Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they shall eat bread by weight and with care, and they shall drink water by measure and in amazement;
Und sprach zu mir: Du Menschenkind, siehe, ich will den Vorrat des Brots zu Jerusalem wegnehmen, daß sie das Brot essen müssen nach dem Gewicht und mit Kummer, und das Wasser nach dem Maß mit Kummer trinken,
17 so that they shall be in want of bread and water, and be astonished one at another, and consume away for their iniquity.
darum daß es an Brot und Wasser mangeln und einer mit dem andern trauern wird und sie in ihrer Missetat verschmachten sollen.
