Ezekiel 39
1 And do thou, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Resh, Meshech, and Tubal!
૧“હે મનુષ્યપુત્ર, ગોગની વિરુદ્ધ ભવિષ્યવાણી કરીને કહે, ‘પ્રભુ યહોવાહ આમ કહે છે, હે મેશેખ તથા તુબાલના સરદાર ગોગ, જો, હું તારી વિરુદ્ધ છું.
2 I will turn thee, and lead thee about, and cause thee to come up from the regions of the North. and bring thee upon the mountains of Israel.
૨હું તને પાછો ફેરવીને દોરી લઈ જઈશ; હું તને ઉત્તરના દૂરના ભાગોમાંથી ઇઝરાયલના પર્વતો પર લાવીશ.
3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
૩હું તારા ડાબા હાથમાંનું ધનુષ્ય તોડી પાડીશ અને તારા જમણા હાથમાંનાં તારાં બાણ પાડી નાખીશ.
4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou and all thy hosts, and the nations that are with thee. To the ravenous birds of every wing, and to the beasts of the forest, give I thee to be devoured.
૪તું, તારું આખું સૈન્ય તથા તારી સાથેના બધા સૈનિકો ઇઝરાયલના પર્વતો પર માર્યા જશે. હું તને શિકારી પક્ષીઓ તથા જંગલી પશુઓને ખોરાક તરીકે આપીશ.
5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.
૫તું ખુલ્લી જમીન પર મૃત્યુ પામેલો પડશે, કેમ કે હું તે બોલ્યો છું.’ આમ પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે.
6 And I will send a fire upon Magog, and upon them that dwell in security in the sea-coasts; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
૬જ્યારે હું માગોગ પર તથા સમુદ્રકિનારે સુરક્ષિત વસેલા લોકો પર અગ્નિ વરસાવીશ, ત્યારે તેઓ જાણશે કે હું યહોવાહ છું.
7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel, and I will not suffer my holy name to be polluted any more; and the nations shall
૭હું મારા ઇઝરાયલી લોકોમાં મારું નામ પવિત્ર છે તે જણાવીશ, હું હવે કદી મારું નામ અપવિત્ર થવા દઈશ નહિ; ત્યારે પ્રજાઓ જાણશે કે હું યહોવાહ, ઇઝરાયલનો પવિત્ર ઈશ્વર છું.
8 know that I am Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel. Behold it cometh, and shall be done, saith the Lord Jehovah. This is the day of which I spake.
૮જુઓ, જે દિવસ વિષે હું બોલ્યો છું તે આવે છે, તે અમલમાં આવશે.’ આમ પ્રભુ યહોવાહ બોલ્યા છે.
9 Then shall the inhabitants of the cities of Israel go forth, and set on fire and burn the weapons, the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, the hand-staves and the spears, and they shall make fires of them seven years.
૯ઇઝરાયલનાં નગરોના રહેવાસીઓ બહાર આવીને, યુદ્ધશસ્ત્રો, નાની ઢાલો, મોટી ઢાલો, ધનુષ્યો, તીરો, હાથભાલા તથા ધનુષ્યોને અગ્નિથી સળગાવી દેશે અને તેઓ તેને સાત વરસ સુધી બાળશે.
10 They shall take no wood from the field, neither shall they cut down any from the forests; for they shall make their fires of the weapons. And they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and plunder those that plundered them, saith the Lord Jehovah.
૧૦તેઓ વનમાંથી લાકડાં ભેગાં કરશે નહિ અને જંગલમાંથી કાપી લાવશે નહિ, તેઓ હથિયારો બાળશે; તેઓને લૂંટનારાઓને તેઓ લૂટશે અને પાયમાલ કરનારાઓને પાયમાલ કરશે. આમ પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give to Gog a place there, a grave in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea; and it shall stop the way of passengers. There shall they bury Gog and all his multitude, and they shall call it “The valley of the multitude of Gog.”
૧૧તે દિવસે ઇઝરાયલમાં કબરને માટે ગોગને સમુદ્રને પૂર્વે કિનારે થઈને જનારાઓની ખીણ હું આપીશ; તે ત્યાં થઈને જનારાઓનો રસ્તો રોકશે. તેઓ ત્યાં ગોગ તથા તેના સમગ્ર સમુદાયને દફનાવશે. તેઓ હામોન ગોગની ખીણના નામથી ઓળખાશે.
12 And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying them, that they may cleanse the land.
૧૨વળી દરેકને દફનાવતાં તથા દેશને શુદ્ધ કરતાં ઇઝરાયલીઓને સાત મહિના લાગશે.
13 Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be renown to them, in the day when I shall be glorified, saith the Lord Jehovah.
૧૩કેમ કે દેશના સર્વ લોકો તેઓને દફનાવશે; પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે કે, જ્યારે હું મહિમાવાન થઈશ.’ ત્યારે તે દિવસ તેઓના માટે યાદગાર દિવસ થશે.
14 And they shall set apart men to be constantly employed, who, passing through the land, with the aid of those that pass by, shall bury those that remain upon the face of the land to cleanse it; at the end of the seven months shall they search.
૧૪‘તેઓ અમુક માણસોને જુદા કરશે, ત્યાં થઈને જનારાઓના જ મૃતદેહો પૃથ્વીની સપાટી પર રહી ગયા હોય તેઓને દફનાવીને દેશને સર્વત્ર શુદ્ધ કરે. તેઓ આ કાર્ય સાત મહિના પછી કરે.
15 And when any of the travellers that pass through the land shall see a man's bone, they shall set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of the multitude of Gog.
૧૫દેશમાં સર્વત્ર ફરનારા માણસો જો કોઈ મનુષ્યનું હાડકું જુએ તો તેમણે હાડકા પર ચિહ્ન કરવું, પછી કબર ખોદનારાઓ આવીને તેને હામોન ગોગની ખીણમાં દફનાવી દે.
16 Also the name of a city shall be Multitude. Thus shall they cleanse the land.
૧૬ત્યાં જે નગર છે તે હામોનાહ કહેવાશે. આમ તેઓ દેશને શુદ્ધ કરશે.
17 And thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Say to the birds of every wing, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves and come, gather yourselves from every side to my sacrifice which I make for you, a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel; and ye shall eat flesh and drink blood;
૧૭હે મનુષ્યપુત્ર, પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે, દરેક જાતનાં પક્ષીઓને તથા જંગલી પશુઓને કહે, “તમે એકત્ર થઈને આવો, તમારે માટે હું જે બલિદાન, મહા બલિદાન, ઇઝરાયલના પર્વતો પર કરું છું, ત્યાં માંસ ખાવાને તથા લોહી પીવાને ચારેબાજુથી આવો.
18 the flesh of the mighty shall ye eat, and the blood of the princes of the earth shall ye drink, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatted in Bashan.
૧૮તમે યોદ્ધાઓનું માંસ ખાઓ અને પૃથ્વીના સરદારોનું લોહી પીઓ; મેંઢાંઓનું, હલવાનોનું, બકરાઓનું તથા બળદોનું લોહી પણ પીઓ. તેઓ બાશાનનાં પુષ્ટ પશુઓ છે.
19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I make for you.
૧૯જે બલિદાન મેં તમારે સારું કર્યું છે, તેની ચરબી તમે તૃપ્ત થાઓ ત્યાં સુધી ખાઓ; જ્યાં સુધી નશો ચઢે ત્યાં સુધી તમે લોહી પીઓ.
20 Thus shall ye be filled at my table with horses and riders, and mighty men and warriors of all kinds, saith the Lord Jehovah.
૨૦તમે મારા જમણમાં ઘોડાઓ, રથો, શૂરવીર તથા દરેક યોદ્ધાઓથી તૃપ્ત થશો.’ આમ પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે.
21 And I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see my judgment which I have executed, and my hand which I have laid upon them.
૨૧‘હું પ્રજાઓ મધ્યે મારો મહિમા પ્રગટ કરીશ. સર્વ પ્રજાઓ કે જેઓનો ન્યાય કરીને મેં તેઓને શિક્ષા કરી છે તે તથા તેઓના પર મેં હાથ નાખેલો છે તે જોશે.
22 And the house of Israel shall know that I am Jehovah, their God, from that day and forward.
૨૨તે દિવસથી ઇઝરાયલી લોકો જાણશે કે હું યહોવાહ તેઓનો ઈશ્વર છું.
23 And the nations shall know that the house of Israel were carried into captivity for their iniquity. Because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies, so that they all fell by the sword.
૨૩બધી પ્રજાઓ જાણશે કે ઇઝરાયલી લોકો જેઓએ મારી સાથે વિશ્વાસઘાત કર્યો છે તેઓ તેઓના અન્યાયને લીધે બંદીવાસમાં જશે, તેથી હું મારું મુખ તેઓનાથી અવળું ફેરવીશ અને તેઓને તેમના શત્રુઓના હાથમાં સોંપી દઈશ જેથી તેઓ બધા તલવારથી માર્યા જાય.
24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I dealt with them, and hid my face from them.
૨૪તેઓની અશુદ્ધતા તથા પાપોને પ્રમાણે મેં તેઓની સાથે કર્યું અને તેઓનાથી મેં મારું મુખ અવળું ફેરવ્યું.’”
25 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will bring back the captives of Jacob, and have compassion upon the whole house of Israel, and be jealous for my holy name.
૨૫માટે પ્રભુ યહોવાહ આમ કહે છે: હું યાકૂબની હાલત ફેરવી નાખીશ, ઇઝરાયલી લોકો પર કરુણા કરીશ, હું મારા પવિત્ર નામ વિષે આવેશી થઈશ.
26 Then shall they forget their shame and all their trespasses with which they trespassed against me, when they dwell in security in their own land, and none maketh them afraid.
૨૬તેઓ શરમથી તથા મારી આગળ કરેલા પોતાના અન્યાયને ભૂલી જશે. તેઓ પોતાના દેશમાં સલામતીથી રહેશે અને તેમનાથી કોઈ ત્રાસ પામશે નહિ.
27 When I bring them back from the nations, and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then will I be glorified in regard to them before the eyes of many nations.
૨૭જ્યારે હું તેઓને પ્રજાઓ મધ્યેથી પાછા લાવીશ અને તેઓને તેઓના શત્રુઓના દેશમાંથી ભેગા કરીશ, ત્યારે હું સર્વ પ્રજાઓ સમક્ષ પવિત્ર મનાઈશ.
28 And they shall know that I am Jehovah their God, in that I caused them to be carried into captivity among the nations, and gathered them into their own land, and left none of them there.
૨૮ત્યારે મારા લોકો જાણશે કે હું યહોવાહ તેઓનો ઈશ્વર છું, કેમ કે, મેં તેઓને અન્ય પ્રજાઓમાં બંદીવાસમાં મોકલ્યા હતા અને હું તેઓને પોતાના દેશમાં ભેગા કરીને પાછો લાવ્યો. હું કોઈને પડતા મૂકીશ નહિ.
29 And I will hide my face from them no more; for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.
૨૯હું ઇઝરાયલી લોકો પર મારો આત્મા રેડીશ. તે પછી ફરી કદી તેઓનાથી મારું મુખ અવળું ફેરવીશ નહિ.’ આમ પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે.”
