Ezekiel 32

1 And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

বারো বছরের, বারো মাসের প্রথম দিন, সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য আমার কাছে উপস্থিত হল,

2 Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and say to him: —Thou art like a young lion among the nations; Thou art like a dragon in the seas; And thou camest forth into thy rivers, And troubledst the waters with thy feet, And didst disturb their rivers.

“হে মানবসন্তান, মিশরের রাজা ফরৌণের জন্য বিলাপ করো আর তাকে বলো, “‘তুমি জাতিগণের মধ্যে একটি সিংহের মতো; তুমি সমুদ্রের মধ্যে একটি দানবের মতো নদীর মধ্যে দাপাদাপি করতে, পা দিয়ে জল তোলপাড় করতে, এবং নদীর জল ঘোলা করতে।

3 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will therefore spread my net over thee, Amidst an assembly of many nations; And they shall draw thee up in my net.

“‘সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, “‘লোকদের একটি বড়ো দল নিয়ে আমি তোমার উপর জাল ফেলব, তারা আমার জালে তোমাকে টেনে তুলবে।

4 And I will throw thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, And I will cause all the birds of heaven to remain upon thee. And I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee;

আমি তোমাকে ডাঙায় ছেড়ে দেব এবং খোলা মাঠে ছুঁড়ে ফেলব। আকাশের সব পাখিদের তোমার উপর বসাব এবং পৃথিবীর সব পশুরা তোমাকে খেয়ে তৃপ্ত হবে।

5 And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, And fill the valleys with thy heaps.

আমি পাহাড়ের উপরে তোমার মাংস ফেলব আর তোমার অবশিষ্টাংশ দিয়ে উপত্যকা সকল ভরাব।

6 And I will water the land in which thou swimmest with thy blood, even to the mountains, And the streams shall be full of thee.

তোমার রক্ত দিয়ে আমি সেই দেশ ভিজাব এমনকি পাহাড়-পর্বত পর্যন্ত, এবং গিরিখাতগুলি তোমার মাংসে ভরে যাবে।

7 And I will cover the heavens, when I quench thee, And make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, And the moon shall not give her light.

তোমাকে শেষ করার সময়, আমি আকাশ ঢেকে দেব এবং তারাগুলি কালো করে দেব; আমি সূর্য মেঘ দিয়ে ঢেকে দেব এবং চাঁদ আর তার আলো দেবে না।

8 All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, And bring darkness upon thy land, Saith the Lord Jehovah.

আকাশের সকল উজ্জ্বল আলো আমি তোমার উপরে কালো করে দেব; আমি তোমার দেশের উপর অন্ধকার নিয়ে আসব, সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।

9 And I will grieve the hearts of many nations, When I bring thy destruction among the nations, In lands which thou knowest not.

আমি বহু মানুষের মনে ত্রাস নিয়ে আসব যখন তোমাকে ধ্বংস করব জাতিগণের মধ্যে, এবং যে সকল দেশের বিষয় তুমি জানো না।

10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, And their kings shall shudder on account of thee, When I brandish my sword before them; And they shall tremble every moment, every one for his life, in the day of thy fall.

আমি এমন করব যে বহু মানুষ তোমাকে দেখে হতভম্ব হবে, এবং তাদের রাজারা তোমার কারণে ভয়ে কাঁপবে যখন আমি তাদের সামনে আমার তরোয়াল ঘুরাব। তোমার পতনের দিনে তারা প্রত্যেকে কাঁপবে তাদের জীবনের প্রতি ক্ষণে।

11 For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee;

“‘কেননা সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, “‘ব্যাবিলনের রাজার তরোয়াল তোমার বিরুদ্ধে আসবে।

12 By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, All of them the terrible of the nations. And they shall bring to nothing the pride of Egypt, And all her multitude shall be destroyed.

আমি তোমার লোকদের পতন ঘটাব বীরদের তরোয়াল দ্বারা, জাতিগণের মধ্যে যারা সবচেয়ে নিষ্ঠুর। তারা মিশরের অহংকার খর্ব করবে, এবং তার সব লোকদের ধ্বংস করবে।

13 I will also destroy all her beasts From beside the great waters; Neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, Nor shall the hoofs of beasts trouble them.

প্রচুর জলের কাছে থাকা সমস্ত গবাদি পশুকে আমি ধ্বংস করব সেই জল আর মানুষের পায়ে অথবা গবাদি পশুর খুরে আর ঘোলা হবে না।

14 Then will I make their waters clear, And cause their rivers to run like oil, Saith the Lord Jehovah,

তখন আমি তার জল থিতাতে দেব এবং স্রোত তেলের মতো বহাব, সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।

15 When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, And the country shall be destitute of all that was therein, When I shall smite all that dwell therein, That they may know that I am Jehovah.

আমি যখন মিশরকে জনশূন্য করব এবং দেশের মধ্যেকার সবকিছু খালি করে ফেলব, আর সেখানকার বাসিন্দাদের আঘাত করব, তখন তারা জানবে যে আমিই সদাপ্রভু।’

16 This is the lamentation which they shall utter; the daughters of the nations shall utter it. For Egypt and for all her multitude shall they utter it, saith the Lord Jehovah.

“তারা তার জন্য এই বিলাপ-গীত করবে। বিভিন্ন জাতির মেয়েরাও এই গান করবে; তারা মিশর ও তার সব লোকদের জন্য তা গাইবে, সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।”

17 It came to pass also in the twelfth year, [[in the twelfth month, ]] on the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

বারো বছরের, মাসের পনেরো দিনের দিন, সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য আমার কাছে উপস্থিত হল,

18 Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast her down, even her and the daughters of the famous nations, to the lower parts of the earth, to them that have gone down to the pit.

“হে মানবসন্তান, মিশরের লোকদের জন্য বিলাপ করো এবং যারা পাতালে নেমে যাচ্ছে তাদের সঙ্গে তাকে ও অন্যান্য শক্তিশালী জাতিগণের লোকদের পৃথিবীর গভীরে পাঠিয়ে দাও।

19 Art thou more beautiful than another? Come down and be laid with the uncircumcised!

তাদের বলো, ‘তুমি কি অন্যদের থেকে আরও পক্ষপাতদুষ্ট? তুমি নেমে যাও এবং অচ্ছিন্নত্বকদের সঙ্গে শুয়ে থাকো।’

20 They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword. The sword is given; drag her away and all her multitudes!

যুদ্ধে যারা মারা পড়েছে তাদের মধ্যেই তার লোকেরা পড়ে থাকবে। তরোয়ালের হাতে তাকে তুলে দেওয়া হবে; তার সব লোকদের সঙ্গে তাকেও টেনে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে।

21 The mightiest heroes from the midst of the pit shall speak to him and his helpers; For they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword. (Sheol h7585)

পাতালের মধ্যে থেকে পরাক্রমী নেতারা মিশর ও তার মিত্রশক্তিদের সম্বন্ধে বলবে, ‘তারা নিচে নেমে এসেছে এবং যাদের সুন্নত হয়নি তাদের ও যারা তরোয়াল দ্বারা মারা পড়েছে, তাদের সঙ্গে শুয়ে আছে।’ (Sheol h7585)

22 There is Assyria and all her company; Her graves are round about her; All of them are slain, fallen by the sword;

“আসিরিয়া তার সমস্ত সৈন্যদলের সঙ্গে সেখানে আছে; তাকে ঘিরে রয়েছে তার সব নিহত লোকদের কবর, এরা সবাই যুদ্ধে মারা পড়েছিল।

23 Her grave is made in the depths of the pit, And her company is round about her grave, All of them slain, fallen by the sword, They who caused terror in the land of the living.

গর্তের গভীরে তাদের কবর দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং তার সৈন্যদল তার কবরের চারপাশে শুয়ে আছে। জীবিতদের দেশে যারা ভয় ছড়িয়েছিল তাদের সকলকে যুদ্ধে মেরে ফেলা হয়েছে।

24 There is Elam and all her company round about her grave, All of them slain, fallen by the sword; They are gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, Who caused terror in the land of the living; They bear their shame with them that have gone down to the pit.

“এলম সেখানে আছে, তার কবরের চারপাশে রয়েছে তার সমস্ত লোক। তারা সকলে যুদ্ধে মারা গেছে। যারা জীবিতদের দেশে ভয় ছড়িয়েছিল তারা অচ্ছিন্নত্বক অবস্থায় পৃথিবীর গভীরে নেমে গেছে। তারা পাতালবাসীদের সঙ্গেই নিজেদের অসম্মান ভোগ করছে।

25 Among the slain have they set her a bed with all her multitude; Her graves are round about her, All of them slain, uncircumcised, by the sword. Though they caused terror in the land of the living, Yet they bear their shame with them that have gone down to the pit; They are laid in the midst of the slain.

নিহত লোকদের মধ্যে তার বিছানা পাতা হয়েছে, তার কবরের চারপাশে তার সঙ্গে রয়েছে তার সমস্ত লোক। তারা সকলেই অচ্ছিন্নত্বক অবস্থায় যুদ্ধে মারা গেছে। যেহেতু তারা জীবিতদের দেশে ভয় ছড়িয়েছিল, কিন্তু তারা পাতালবাসীদের সঙ্গেই নিজেদের অপমান ভোগ করছে; নিহত লোকদের মধ্যে তাদের শোয়ানো হয়েছে।

26 There is Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitude; Their graves are around them; All of them slain, uncircumcised, by the sword, Though they caused terror in the land of the living.

“মেশক ও তূবল সেখানে আছে, তাদের কবরের চারপাশে রয়েছে তাদের সমস্ত লোক। তারা সকলেই অচ্ছিন্নত্বক অবস্থায় যুদ্ধে মারা গেছে কারণ তারা জীবিতদের দেশে ভয় ছড়িয়েছিল।

27 Shall they not lie with the mighty of the uncircumcised that are fallen, Who have gone down to the pit with their weapons of war, Having their swords laid under their heads, And their iniquity resting upon their bones, Though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living? (Sheol h7585)

কিন্তু তারা শুয়ে নেই তাদের সঙ্গে যারা যুদ্ধে মারা গেছে, যারা যুদ্ধের অস্ত্রশস্ত্র নিয়ে কবরে গিয়েছে—যাদের তরোয়াল তাদের মাথার নিচে রাখা হয়েছে? তাদের অপরাধ তাদের হাড়গোড়ের উপর রয়েছে—যদিও এই সৈন্যরা জীবিতদের দেশে ভয় ছড়িয়েছিল। (Sheol h7585)

28 And thou also shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, And shalt lie down with them that are slain by the sword.

“হে ফরৌণ, তোমাকেও ভাঙা হবে এবং তুমি অচ্ছিন্নত্বক লোকদের মধ্যে শুয়ে থাকবে, যাদের যুদ্ধে মেরে ফেলা হয়েছে।

29 There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, Who in their might are laid with them that are slain by the sword; They lie down with the uncircumcised, With them that have gone down to the pit.

“ইদোম সেখানে আছে, তার রাজারা ও তার সব শাসনকর্তারা সেখানে আছে; শক্তি থাকলেও যুদ্ধে নিহত লোকদের সঙ্গে তাদের শোয়ানো হয়েছে। তারা অচ্ছিন্নত্বকদের মধ্যে শুয়ে আছে যারা পাতালে নেমে গেছে।

30 There are the princes of the North, All of them, and all the Sidonians, Who have gone down to the slain; In the midst of the terror of their might they are put to shame; They lie down uncircumcised with them that are slain by the sword, And bear their shame with them that have gone down to the pit.

“উত্তর দেশের সব শাসনকর্তারা ও সীদোনীয়েরা সকলেই সেখানে আছে; তাদের পরাক্রম ভয়ানক হলেও তারা লজ্জিত হয়ে নিহত লোকদের সঙ্গে নিচে নেমেছে। যারা যুদ্ধে মারা গেছে তাদের সঙ্গে অচ্ছিন্নত্বক অবস্থায় শুয়ে আছে এবং যারা পাতালে নেমে গেছে তাদের সঙ্গে অসম্মান ভোগ করছে।

31 Pharaoh shall see them, And shall comfort himself over all his multitude; Even Pharaoh and all his army are slain by the sword, Saith the Lord Jehovah.

“ফরৌণ—সে ও তার সৈন্যদল—তাদের দেখবে এবং তাকে সান্ত্বনা দেওয়া হবে তার লোকদের জন্য যারা যুদ্ধে নিহত হয়েছে, সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।

32 Though I suffered him to spread terror in the land of the living, Yet is he laid in the midst of the uncircumcised, With them that are slain by the sword, Even Pharaoh and all his multitude, Saith the Lord Jehovah.

যদিও আমি তাকে জীবিতদের দেশে ভয় ছড়াতে দিয়েছি, ফরৌণ ও তার লোকেরা অচ্ছিন্নত্বকদের মধ্যে শুয়ে থাকবে, যারা যুদ্ধে মারা গেছে, সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।”
