Ezekiel 30
1 The word of Jehovah came again to me, saying:
Ja Herran sana tapahtui minulle ja sanoi:
2 Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Howl ye, Alas! alas for the day!
Sinä, ihmisen poika, ennusta ja sano: näin sanoo Herra, Herra: valittakaat ja sanokaat: voi sitä päivää!
3 For the day is near, the day of Jehovah is near! A day of clouds, the time of the nations is come.
Sillä päivä on sangen läsnä, ja Herran päivä on lähestynyt, pilvinen päivä: aika on käsissä, että pakanat tuleman pitää.
4 The sword shall come upon Egypt, and anguish shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be destroyed.
Ja miekka tulee Egyptin päälle, Etiopian pitää hämmästymän, kuin lyödyt Egyptissä lankeevat, ja sen kansa viedään pois, ja sen perustus revitään ylös.
5 Ethiopia, and Lybia, and Lydia, and all her auxiliaries, and Chub, and the men of every country that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.
Etiopia, ja Lydia, ja Lydia, kaikki kansoinensa, ja Kub, ja jotka liiton maakunnasta ovat, kaatuvat miekalla.
6 Thus saith Jehovah: They that uphold Egypt shall fall, and the pride of her power shall come down; from Migdol to Syene shall they fall in her by the sword, saith the Lord Jehovah.
Näin sanoo Herra, Herra: Egyptin holhoja lankee, ja sen väkevyyden ylpeys on hukkuva: Sevenan tornista pitää heidän miekalla lankeeman, sanoo Herra, Herra.
7 And they shall be laid waste in the midst of the lands that are laid waste, and her cities shall be amongst the cities that are desolate.
Ja heidän autiot rajansa pitää kylmille tuleman, hävitettyin maakuntain keskellä, ja heidän kaupunkinsa hävitettämän muiden autioiden kaupunkien seassa.
8 And they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have brought a fire into Egypt, and all her helpers shall be destroyed.
Että heidän pitää ymmärtämän, että minä olen Herra, kuin minä teen tulen Egyptiin, ja kaikki, jotka heitä auttavat, hukkuvat.
9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships, to make the confident Ethiopians afraid; and anguish shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt; for behold, it cometh!
Silloin sanansaattajat lähtevät ulos minun tyköäni haaksilla, peljättämään Etiopiaa, joka nyt niin surutoin on; ja hämmästyksen pitää oleman heidän seassansa, niinkuin se tapahtui Egyptille, kuin hänen aikansa tuli; sillä katso, se tulee.
10 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon.
Näin sanoo Herra, Herra: minä vähennän sen paljouden Egyptistä Nebukadnetsarin, Babelin kuninkaan kautta.
11 He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to make the land desolate; and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.
Sillä hän ja hänen kansansa, ne pakanain tyrannit, ovat siihen kutsutut hävittämään maata, ja vetämään miekkansa Egyptiä vastaan, että maakunta piti lyödyillä täytettämän.
12 And I will make the rivers dry, and I will sell the land into the hand of evil men; and I will lay waste the land and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers; I, Jehovah, have spoken it.
Ja minä tahdon kuivata virrat, ja myydä maan tylyin ihmisten käsiin, ja hävitän maakunnan ja mitä siinä on, muukalaisten kautta. Minä Herra olen sen puhunut.
13 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will destroy the idols, and cause the images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt; and I will bring fear upon the land of Egypt:
Näin sanoo Herra, Herra: minä hävitän kuvat, ja lopetan epäjumalat Nophista; ja Egyptillä ei pidä ruhtinaita oleman, ja minä lähetän hämmästyksen Egyptin maahan.
14 And I will lay waste Pathros, and bring a fire upon Zoan, and execute judgments upon No.
Ja teen Patroksen autioksi, ja sytytän tulen Zoaniin, ja annan oikeuden käydä Noon päälle.
15 And I will pour out my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt, and I will cut off the multitude of No.
Ja kaadan minun julmuuteni Sinin päälle, joka Egyptin vahvuus on, ja hävitän Noon paljouden.
16 And I will bring a fire upon Egypt; Sin shall tremble, and No shall be broken through, and Noph shall be plundered by day.
Ja sytytän tulen Egyptissä, ja Sinissä pitää oleman hädän ja tuskan, ja Noo pitää kukistettaman maahan: ja Nophilla pitää jokapäiväiset viholliset oleman.
17 The young men of On and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword, and the women shall go into captivity.
Nuoret miehet Avenissa ja Pibastissa pitää miekalla lankeeman; ja vaimot vankina vietämän pois.
18 At Tahpanhes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yoke of Egypt, and the pride of her strength shall cease within her. A cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
Tahpanheksella pitää oleman pimiä päivä, kuin minä siellä Egyptin ijestä lyön, niin että hänen väkevyytensä ylpeys pitää siinä loppuman; hänen pitää pilvellä peitetyksi tuleman, ja hänen tyttärensä viedään pois vankina.
19 Thus will I execute judgments upon Egypt; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
Ja minä annan oikeuden käydä Egyptin ylitse; ja heidän pitää ymmärtämän, että minä olen Herra.
20 Now it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
Ja tapahtui ensimäisenä vuotena toistakymmentä, seitsemäntenä päivänä ensimäisessä kuussa, että Herran sana tapahtui minlle, sanoen:
21 Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and lo, it is not bound up, so as to have medicines applied to it; a bandage is not applied to it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
Sinä ihmisen poika, minä taitan rikki Pharaon, Egyptin kuninkaan käsivarren; ja katso, ei sitä pidä sidottaman, että hän paranis, eli siteillä käärittämän, että hän vahvistuis, ja miekkaan ruveta taitais.
22 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against Pharaoh, the king of Egypt; and I will break his arms, both the strong one, and that which was broken, and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
Sentähden näin sanoo Herra, Herra: katso, minä tahdon Pharaon, Egyptin kuninkaan kimppuun, ja taitan hänen käsivartensa rikki, sekä sen vahvan että särjetyn, ja pudotan miekan hänen kädestänsä.
23 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them through the countries.
Ja hajoitan Egyptiläiset pakanain sekaan, ja ajan heitä maakuntiin.
24 But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and will put my sword into his hand, and break the arms of Pharaoh, so that he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
Mutta Babelin kuninkaan käsivarren minä vahvistan, ja annan hänelle minun miekkani käteensä, ja muserran Pharaon käsivarret rikki, että hänen pitää huokaaman hänen edessänsä, niinkuin se, joka kuolemahaavan saanut on.
25 Yea, I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
Ja minä vahvistan Babelin kuninkaan käsivarret; ja Pharaon käsivarret pitää muserrettaman rikki, että heidän pitää tietämän, että minä olen Herra, kuin minä annan Babelin kuninkaalle minun miekkani käteen, että hänen sen Egyptiä vastaan vetämän pitää.
26 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries, and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
Ja minä hajoitan Egyptiläiset pakanain sekaan, ja ajan heitä maakuntiin, että heidän ymmärtämän pitää, että minä olen Herra.
