Ezekiel 25

1 The word of Jehovah came again to me, saying:

Shoko raJehovha rakasvika kwandiri richiti,

2 Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;

“Mwanakomana womunhu, ringira chiso chako pamusoro pavaAmoni uprofite pamusoro pavo.

3 and say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord Jehovah! Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou saidst, “Aha!” against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity, therefore,

Uti kwavari, ‘Inzwai shoko raIshe Jehovha. Zvanzi naIshe Jehovha: Nokuda kwokuti imi makati, “Toko waro!” pamusoro penzvimbo yangu tsvene panguva yayakasvibiswa napamusoro penyika yeIsraeri payakaparadzwa, napamusoro pavanhu veJudha pavakaenda kuutapwa,

4 behold, I will deliver thee to the sons of the East for a possession, and they shall set their folds in thee, and make their dwellings in thee; they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.

naizvozvo ndichakuisai kuvanhu vokuMabvazuva kuti muve vavo. Vachadzika misasa yavo uye vachamisa matende avo pakati penyu; vachadya michero yenyu uye vachanwa mukaka wenyu.

5 And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the land of the Ammonites a couching-place for flocks; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

Ndichashandura Rabha rikava mafuro engamera uye Amoni kuti ive nzvimbo inozororera makwai. Ipapo muchaziva kuti ndini Jehovha.

6 For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast clapped thy hands, and stamped with thy feet, and rejoiced with all thy despite from the heart, against the land of Israel,

Nokuti zvanzi naIshe Jehovha: Nokuda kwokuti makauchira maoko enyu mukadzana-dzana netsoka dzenyu muchifara noruvengo rwose rwemwoyo yenyu rwamunovenga narwo nyika yeIsraeri,

7 therefore, behold, I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the nations; I will cut thee off from the nations, and cause thee to perish from the countries; I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah.

naizvozvo ndichatambanudza ruoko rwangu pamusoro penyu ndigokupai kuti mupambwe nendudzi. Ndichakubvisai chose kubva kundudzi uye ndigokupedzai munyika dzose. Ndichakuparadzai; uye muchaziva kuti ndini Jehovha.’”

8 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because Moab and Seir say, “Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,”

“Zvanzi naIshe Jehovha: ‘Nokuda kwokuti Moabhu neSeiri vakati, “Tarirai, imba yaJudha yafanana nedzimwe ndudzi,”

9 therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from his cities, which are on his borders, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim.

naizvozvo ndichaisa pachena rutivi rwaMoabhu, kutangira pamavambo maguta okumuganhu anoti Bheti Jeshimoti, Bhaari Meoni neKiriataimi iko kukudzwa kwenyika iyoyo.

10 To the sons of the East will I give it for a possession, together with the sons of Ammon, that the sons of Ammon may be no more remembered among the nations;

Ndichapa Moabhu pamwe chete navaAmoni kuvanhu vokuMabvazuva kuti vave vavo, kuti vaAmoni varege kuzorangarirwa pakati pendudzi;

11 and on Moab will I execute judgments, and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

uye ndicharanga Moabhu. Ipapo vachaziva kuti ndini Jehovha.’”

12 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them,

“Zvanzi naIshe Jehovha: ‘Nokuda kwokuti Edhomu akatsiva pamusoro peimba yaJudha vakava nemhosva huru pakuita izvozvo,

13 therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will stretch out my hand upon Edom, and will cut off from it man and beast; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and unto Dedan shall they fall by the sword.

naizvozvo zvanzi naIshe Jehovha: Ndichatambanudza ruoko rwangu pamusoro peEdhomu ndigouraya vanhu vose varo nezvipfuwo zvavo. Ndichariparadza uye kubva kuTemani kusvika kuDhedhani vachaurayiwa nomunondo.

14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall deal with Edom according to mine anger, and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Ndichatsiva Edhomu noruoko rwavanhu vangu, uye vachaitira Edhomu zvakafanira kutsamwa kwangu nehasha dzangu; vachaziva kutsiva kwangu, ndizvo zvinotaura Ishe Jehovha.’”

15 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the Philistines have dealt with revenge, and have taken vengeance, with a despiteful heart, even to destruction, from the old hatred;

“Zvanzi naIshe Jehovha: ‘Nokuda kwokuti vaFiristia vakazvitsivira vakatsiva noruvengo mumwoyo yavo, uye noruvengo rwamakore namakore vakatsvaka kuparadza Judha,

16 therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will stretch out my hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant upon the sea-coasts.

naizvozvo zvanzi naIshe Jehovha: Ndava pedyo nokutambanudza ruoko rwangu pamusoro pavaFiristia, uye ndichauraya vaKereti ndigoparadza vaya vakasara pamhenderekedzo.

17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am Jehovah when I lay my vengeance upon them.

Ndichatsiva nokutsiva kukuru pamusoro pavo uye ndichavaranga muhasha dzangu. Ipapo vachaziva kuti ndini Jehovha, pandichatsiva pamusoro pavo.’”
