Ezekiel 23

1 The word of Jehovah came to me again, saying:

Opet mi doðe rijeè Gospodnja govoreæi:

2 Son of man, there were two women, daughters of one mother;

Sine èovjeèji, bijahu dvije žene, kæeri jedne matere.

3 and they committed fornication in Egypt; in their youth they committed fornication. There they allowed their breasts to be pressed, and their virgin teats to be handled.

One se kurvahu u Misiru, u mladosti svojoj kurvahu se, ondje im pipaše grudi, i ondje im zgnjeèiše dojke djevojaèke.

4 Their names were Aholah, the elder, and Aholibah, her sister; and they became mine, and bore sons and daughters; as to their names, moreover, Aholah is Samaria, and Aholibah, Jerusalem.

A imena im bijahu, starijoj Ola a sestri joj Oliva; one postaše moje, i rodiše sinove i kæeri. Imena im bijahu Ola Samariji, a Oliva Jerusalimu.

5 And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians, her neighbors

I Ola kad bijaše moja kurvaše se, i upaljivaše se za svojim milosnicima, Asircima susjedima,

6 who were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen, riding on horses.

Koji nošahu porfiru, i bijahu knezovi i vlastelji, sve lijepi mladiæi, vitezovi, koji jahahu na konjma.

7 Thus she committed fornication with them, with all the choice young men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted; with all their idols she defiled herself.

I udari u kurvanje s njima, koji svi bijahu najljepši izmeðu sinova Asirskih, i za kojima se god upaljivaše, skvrnjaše se o sve gadne bogove njihove.

8 Neither forsook she her whoredoms brought from Egypt; for they lay with her in her youth, and handled the breasts of her virginity, and poured their fornication upon her.

A ni s Misircima ne okani se kurvanja svojega, jer spavahu s njom od mladosti njezine i oni joj gnjeèiše djevojaèke dojke i s njom se kurvaše.

9 Wherefore I delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.

Zato je dadoh u ruke milosnicima njezinijem, u ruke Asircima, za kojima se upaljivaše.

10 These uncovered her nakedness; they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword; and she became famous among women, when they had executed judgment upon her.

Oni otkriše golotinju njezinu, uzeše joj sinove i kæeri, a nju maèem ubiše; i ona izaðe na glas meðu ženama kad sudove izvršiše na njoj.

11 And her sister, Aholibah, saw this, but she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms.

A sestra njezina Oliva videæi to upaljivaše se još gore nego ona, i kurvarstvo njezino bijaše gore od kurvarstva sestre joj.

12 She doted upon the Assyrians, her neighbors, prefects and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.

Upaljivaše se za Asircima, knezovima i vlasteljima, susjedima, krasno odjevenijem, vitezima koji jahahu na konjma i svi bijahu lijepi mladiæi.

13 Then I saw that she was defiled; that they both took one way.

I vidjeh gdje se oskvrni, i gdje obje idu jednijem putem.

14 But she added to her whoredoms; for she saw men portrayed upon the wall, images of Chaldaeans portrayed with vermilion,

I ova se još više kurvaše; jer kad bi vidjela ljude napisane na zidu, likove Haldejske napisane crvenilom,

15 girded with girdles upon their loins, and having long mitres hanging down from their heads, in their appearance all of them princes, after the manner of the sons of Babylon, of Chaldaea, the land of their nativity;

Opasane pojasima po bedrima, sa šarenijem kapama na glavi, koji svi bijahu na oèi kao vojvode nalik na sinove Vavilonske iz zemlje Haldejske, svoje postojbine,

16 and as soon as she cast her eyes upon them, she doted on them, and sent messengers to them into Chaldaea.

Upaljivaše se za njima èim ih viðaše oèima svojima, i slaše poslanike k njima u Haldejsku.

17 And the sons of Babylon came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredoms, and she was polluted with them. She then became alienated from them.

I Vavilonjani dolažahu k njoj na postelju ljubavnu, i skvrnjahu je kurvarstvom svojim, i pošto bi se oskvrnila s njima, odvraæaše se duša njezina od njih.

18 So she discovered her fornications, and discovered her nakedness. Then my mind was alienated from her, as it had been alienated from her sister.

I kad otkri kurvarstva svoja i otkri golotinju svoju, odvrati se duša moja od nje kao što se odvrati duša moja od sestre njezine.

19 For she multiplied her whoredoms in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she played the harlot in the land of Egypt;

Jer umnoži kurvarstva svoja opominjuæi se dana mladosti svoje kad se kurvaše u zemlji Misirskoj,

20 for she doted on their paramours, whose members were as the members of asses, and whose issue was as the issue of horses.

I upaljivaše se za svojim milosnicima, u kojih je tijelo kao u magarca, i teèenje kao u konja.

21 Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, when thy teats were handled by the Egyptians, on account of the paps of thy youth.

I tako si se vratila na nevaljalstvo mladosti svoje kad ti pipahu grudi u Misiru radi djevojaèkih dojaka tvojih.

22 Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will raise up against thee thy lovers, from whom thou art alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side,

Zato, Olivo, ovako veli Gospod Gospod: evo, ja æu podignuti milosnike tvoje na te, one od kojih se odvratila duša tvoja, i dovešæu ih na te otsvuda,

23 the Babylonians and all the Chaldaeans, prefects, rich men, and nobles, and all the Assyrians with them, all of them desirable young men, prefects and rulers, captains and men of renown, all of them riding upon horses.

Vavilonjane i sve Haldejce, Fekoðane i Sojane i Kojane, sve Asirce s njima, lijepe mladiæe, knezove i vlastelje sve, vitezove i ljude èuvene, koji svi jašu na konjma.

24 And they shall come against thee with arms, chariots and wheels, and with hosts of people; with buckler and shield and helmet shall they set themselves against thee on every side. And I will commit to them judgment, and they shall punish thee according to their punishments.

I doæi æe na te s kolima i s kolicima i s toèkovima i s mnoštvom naroda, i opkoliæe te sa štitovima i štitiæima i šljemovima; i njima æu dati sud da ti sude svojim sudom.

25 And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal with thee in fury; they shall take away thy nose and thine ears, and thy posterity shall fall by the sword. They shall take away thy sons and thy daughters, and thy posterity shall be consumed with fire.

I staviæu revnost svoju tebi nasuprot, te æe raditi s tobom gnjevno, nos i uši otsjeæi æe ti, i što te ostane pašæe od maèa, i uzeæe sinove tvoje i kæeri tvoje, i što te ostane proždrijeæe oganj.

26 They shall also strip thee of thy garments, and take away thy fair jewels.

I svuæi æe s tebe haljine, i uzeæe krasni nakit tvoj.

27 Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt, so that thou shalt not lift thine eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.

Tako æu uèiniti kraj grdilu tvojemu i tvojemu kurvanju u zemlji Misirskoj, te neæeš podignuti oèiju svojih k njima i neæeš se više sjeæati Misiraca.

28 For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thou art alienated.

Jer ovako veli Gospod Gospod: evo, ja æu te dati u ruke onima na koje mrziš, u ruke onima od kojih se odvratila duša tvoja.

29 And they shall deal with thee in hatred, and take away all the fruits of thy labor from thee, and shall leave thee naked and bare; and thy nakedness shall be uncovered, with which thou hast committed lewdness and fornication and foul whoredom.

I oni æe raditi s tobom neprijateljski, i uzeæe svu muku tvoju, i ostaviæe te golu nagu, te æe se otkriti golotinja kurvarstva tvoga, i grdilo tvoje i kurvarstvo tvoje.

30 These things will I do to thee, because thou hast committed whoredom with the nations, and hast been polluted with their idols.

To æu ti uèiniti što si se kurvala za narodima, što si se oskvrnila o njihove gadne bogove.

31 Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister, therefore will I give her cup into thy hand.

Putem sestre svoje išla si, zato æu dati èašu njezinu tebi u ruku.

32 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup, which is deep and large; it shall make thee a laughing-stock and a derision, for it containeth much.

Ovako veli Gospod Gospod: èašu sestre svoje ispiæeš duboku i široku, biæeš potsmijeh i rug, jer èaša mnogo bere.

33 Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow. A cup of astonishment and amazement is the cup of thy sister Samaria.

Napuniæeš se pijanstva i žalosti èašom pustošenja i zatiranja, èašom sestre svoje Samarije.

34 Thou shalt even drink it and suck it out, and lick the sherds, and thou shalt tear thy breasts. For I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.

I ispiæeš je i iscijediti, i razbiæeš je, i dojke æeš svoje pokidati, jer ja rekoh, govori Gospod Gospod.

35 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

Zato ovako veli Gospod Gospod: što si me zaboravila i bacila me za leða svoja, zato i ti nosi grdilo svoje i kurvarstva svoja.

36 Moreover, Jehovah said to me, Son of man, punish Aholah and Aholibah; yea, declare to them their abominations;

Potom reèe mi Gospod: sine èovjeèji, hoæeš li suditi Oli i Olivi? Pokaži im gadove njihove,

37 that they have committed adultery, and blood is upon their hands, and that with their idols they have committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bore to me, to pass through the fire to them for food.

Da su èinile preljubu i da je krv na rukama njihovijem i da su èinile preljubu s gadnijem bogovima svojim i vodile kroz oganj sinove svoje koje su mi rodile, da ih jedu.

38 This also have they done to me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.

Još i ovo mi èiniše: skvrniše svetinju moju u isti dan, i subote moje przniše.

39 For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came into my sanctuary the same day to profane it; behold, thus have they done in my house.

Jer zaklavši sinove svoje gadnijem bogovima svojim dolaziše u svetinju moju istoga dana da je oskvrne; i gle, tako èiniše usred doma mojega.

40 Yea, ye sent for men to come from afar; messengers were sent to them, and behold, they came; for them didst thou wash thyself, and paint thine eyes, and deck thyself with ornaments.

I još slaše po ljude da bi došli izdaleka, i oni, èim poslanik bi poslan k njima, gle, odmah dolaziše, i njih radi si se kupala, mazala oèi svoje i kitila si se nakitom.

41 And thou didst seat thyself upon a stately bed before which a table was prepared, and thereon didst thou set my incense and my oil.

I sjedala si na krasan odar, pred kojim bješe sto postavljen, i na nj si metala kad moj i ulje moje.

42 Also the voice of a multitude at ease was with her; and together with men from the common multitude were brought deep-drinkers from the desert, who put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.

I bijaše ondje vika veseloga mnoštva, i osim ljudi iz gomile dovoðahu Saveje iz pustinje, koji im metahu narukvice na ruke i krasne vijence na glave.

43 Then said I concerning her that was worn out with adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, even with her?

I rekoh za ostarjelu u kurvarstvu: još æe se kurvati.

44 They went in to her, as men go to a harlot; so went they in to Aholah and to Aholibah, the lewd women.

I dolažahu k njoj kao što idu k ženi kurvi; tako dolažahu k Oli i Olivi, ženama nevaljalijem.

45 But righteous men shall judge them, as adulteresses are judged, and as women that shed blood are judged; for they are adulteresses, and blood is upon their hands.

Zato æe im pravedni ljudi suditi kao što se sudi ženama preljuboèinicama i kao što se sudi onima koje proljevaju krv; jer su preljuboèinice i krv je na rukama njihovijem.

46 For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will bring a great company against them, and will give them up to be harassed and spoiled,

Zato ovako govori Gospod Gospod: dovešæu na njih ljudstvo, i daæu ih da se zlostave i oplijene.

47 and the company shall stone them with stones, and cut them in pieces with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn their houses with fire.

I ljudstvo æe ih zasuti kamenjem, i isjeæi æe ih maèevima svojim; sinove æe njihove i kæeri njihove pobiti, i kuæe æe njihove spaliti ognjem.

48 Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may take warning, and not follow them in their lewdness.

I tako æu ukinuti nevaljalstvo u zemlji, i nauèiæe se sve žene da ne rade po vašem nevaljalstvu.

49 And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols; that ye may know that I am the Lord Jehovah.

I vræi æe vaše nevaljalstvo na vas, i nosiæete grijehe gadnijeh bogova svojih, i poznaæete da sam ja Gospod Gospod.
