Ezekiel 21
1 Then came the word of Jehovah to me, saying:
तब परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयोः
2 Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,
“ए मानिसको छोरो, तेरो अनुहार यरूशलेमको विरुद्धमा फर्का र पवित्रस्थानहरूका विरुद्धमा बोल् । इस्राएल देशको विरुद्धमा अगमवाणी गर् ।
3 and say to the land of Israel, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, and I will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
इस्राएल देशलाई यसो भन्, 'परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छः हेर्, म तेरो विरुद्धमा छु । म आफ्नो तरवार त्यसको म्यानबाट थुत्नेछु र तेरा धर्मी मानिस र दुष्ट मानिस दुवैलाई काट्नेछु ।
4 Seeing then that I cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north.
धर्मी र दुष्ट दुवैलाई म खतम गर्नलाई दक्षिणदेखि उत्तरसम्म हरेक प्राणीको विरुद्ध मेरो तरवार म्यानबाट निस्कनेछ ।
5 And all flesh shall know that I, Jehovah, have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more.
तब सबै प्राणीले थाहा पाउनेछन्, कि म परमप्रभुले नै मेरो तरवार म्यानबाट झिकेको छु । त्यो फेरि म्यानमा हालिनेछैन' ।
6 Thou, therefore, O son of man, sigh! With the breaking of thy loins, and with bitterness, sigh before their eyes!
तेरो बारेमा, ए मानिसको छोरो, तेरो पटुका चुडिंदा सुस्केरा हाल् । तीतो मन लिएर तिनीहरूले देख्ने गरी सुस्केरा हाल् ।
7 And when they shall say to thee, “Wherefore sighest thou?” thou shalt say, “For the rumor, because it cometh; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall fail, and all knees shall flow with water. Behold it cometh, it shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord Jehovah.”
तब तिनीहरूले तँलाई सोध्नेछन्, ‘के कारणले तिमी सुस्केरा हाल्दैछौ?' अनि तैंले यसो भन्नेछस्, 'आएको समाचारको कारणले, किनकि हरेकको हृदयले मुर्छा खानेछ र हरेकको हात शिथिल हुनेछ । हरेकको आत्मा मुर्छित हुनेछ र हरेकको घुँडा पानीजस्तै कमजोर हुनेछ । हेर, त्यो आउँदैछ र त्यो यस्तो हुनेछ!— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो' ।”
8 Also the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
तब परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,
9 Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith Jehovah: Say, The sword, the sword is sharpened and furbished.
“ए मानिसको छोरो, अगमवाणी बोल् र यसो भन्, 'परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छः “भन्: एउटा तरवार, एउटा तरवार! त्यो धारिलो र चम्किलो हुनेछ ।
10 It is sharpened, that it may make sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter. Or shall we make mirth? The staff of my son despiseth every rod.
धेरै जनालाई काट्नलाई त्यसमा धार लगाइनेछ । बिजुलीझैं चम्कनलाई त्यसलाई टल्काइनेछ । के हामी मेरो छोराको राजदण्डमा आनन्दित हुनुपर्छ र? आउनेवाला तरवारले हरेक त्यस्ता राजदण्डलाई घृणा गर्छ ।
11 And he gave it to be furbished that it might be handled. The sword is sharpened and furbished, to be given into the hand of the slayer.
यसैले त्यो तरवारलाई टल्काउन दिइनेछ र तब हातले समाइनेछ । त्यो तरवार धारिलो बनाइएको छ र त्यो टल्काइएको छ र मार्ने व्यक्तिको हातमा त्यो दिइएको छ ।”
12 Cry and howl, son of man! for it cometh upon my people, upon all the princes of Israel. They are given up to the sword with my people. Therefore smite upon thy thigh.
ए मानिसको छोरो, गुहार माग् र विलाप गर् । किनकि त्यो तरवार मेरा मानिसहरूका विरुद्धमा आएको छ । त्यो इस्राएलका सबै अगुवाको विरुद्धमा छ। तिनीहरूलाई मेरा मानिसहरूसँगै तरवारमा फालिएका छन् । यसकारण आफ्नो तिग्रा ठटा ।
13 The trial is made. And what if even the contemning staff should be no more? saith the Lord Jehovah.
किनकि जाँच आउनेछ, तर यहूदाको राजदण्ड रहेन भने नि?— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।
14 Thou, therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together! for twice, yea thrice, cometh the sword, a sword of slaughter, a sword of great slaughter, that besetteth them on every side.
अब ए मानिसको छोरो, अगमवाणी बोल् र आफ्ना हातले ताली बजा, किन तरवारले तेस्रो पल्ट पनि आक्रमण गर्नेछ । एक-एक जनालाई मार्ने तरवार । यो तरवार धेरै जनालाई मार्न र हरेक दिशाबाट तिनीहरूलाई छेड्नलाई हो ।
15 That their hearts may faint, and their overthrown may be multiplied, I have set the terror of the sword against all their gates. Ah, how is it made to glitter, polished for slaughter!
तिनीहरूका हृदयहरू गलाउन र तिनीहरूका ढल्नेहरूको संख्या बढाउन, तिनीहरूका सबै ढोकामा मैले मार्नलाई तरवार राखेको छु । बिजुलीजस्तै चम्कनलाई त्यो बनाइएको छ, मार्नलाई त्यो समातिएको छ ।
16 Unite thyself, smite to the right, prepare thyself, smite to the left, whithersoever thine edge is turned!
ए तरवार, दाहिनेतिर हान् । र देब्रेतिर प्रहार गर् । तेरो धार जता फर्काइन्छ त्यतै जा ।
17 I also will smite my hands together, and cause mine anger to cease. I, Jehovah, have spoken it.
किन म पनि आफ्ना दुई हातले ताली बजाउनेछु, र मेरो क्रोध शान्त पार्नेछु । म, परमप्रभुले यो घोषणा गर्छु ।”
18 The word of Jehovah came to me again, saying:
परमप्रभुको वचन फेरि पनि यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,
19 Do thou, son of man, appoint thee two ways by which the sword of the king of Babylon may come; from one land shall both of them come; and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.
“ए मानिसको छोरो, बेबिलोनका राजाको तरवार आउनलाई दुई वटा बाटो रोज् । ती दुवै बाटो एउटै देशबाट सुरु हुनेछन् र तीमध्ये एउटामा सहरतिर जाने चिन्ह हुनेछ ।
20 Appoint a way, that the sword may come towards Rabbath of the sons of Ammon, and towards Judah, to Jerusalem, the fenced city.
अम्मोनीहरूको सहर रब्बामा बेबिलोनी फौज आउनलाई एउटा बाटोमा निशाना बनाइदे । अर्कोमा तिनै फौजलाई यहूदामा र किल्ला भएको यरूशलेम सहरमा आउनलाई एउटा निशाना बनाइदे ।
21 For the king of Babylon shall stand at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination; he shall shake together his arrows, he shall consult the teraphim, he shall look at the liver.
किनभने बेबिलोनका राजा जोखना हेर्नलाई चौबाटोमा, दोबाटोमा खडा हुनेछ । त्यसले केही काँडहरू चालाउनेछ र मूर्तिहरूसित सल्लाह लिनेछ, र त्यसले कलेजो जाँच्नेछ ।
22 In his right hand shall be the lot: Jerusalem, to set battering-rams, to open the mouth with the war-cry, to lift up the voice in shouting, to set battering-rams against the gates, to cast up a mound, to build a tower.
यसको विरुद्धमा भत्काउने मूढा राख्नलाई, गला खोलेर मार्ने हुकुम दिनलाई, युद्धको आवाज सुनाउलाई, मूल ढोका भत्काउने ठुला-ठुला मूढाहरू लाउनलाई, घेरा-मचान खडा गर्नलाई त्यसको दाहिने हातमा यरूशलेमको चिट्ठा पर्नेछ ।
23 And this shall appear a false divination in their sight, because they swore oaths to them. But he shall call to remembrance their iniquity, that they may be taken.
युद्धको निम्ति राजासित मित्रताको शपथ खाने यरूशलेका मानिसहरूलाई त्यो बेकारको जोखना हेरेजस्तो देखिनेछ । तर राजाले तिनीहरूलाई घेरा हल्नलाई तिनीहरूले सम्झौता उलङ्घन गरे भनेर तिनीहरूलाई दोष लगाउनेछ ।
24 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye make your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear, —because, I say, ye bring yourselves into remembrance, ye shall be taken with that hand.
यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः तिमीहरूले आफ्ना सबै पाप कामहरू देखिने गरी आफ्ना अपराधलाई प्रकट गरेर तिमीहरूका दोष मलाई सम्झना गराएका हुनाले— तिमीहरूले यसो गरेका हुनाले, तिमीहरू हातले समातिनेछौ ।
25 And thou, profane, wicked prince of Israel, whose day cometh in the time when iniquity bringeth destruction!
ए इस्राएल अपवित्र र दुष्ट शासक, जसको दण्डको दिन आएको छ, र जसको अपराध गर्ने समय सकिएको छ,
26 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will remove the diadem, and take away the crown! This shall no more be this. I exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
परमप्रभु परमेश्वर तँलाई यसो भन्नुहुन्छः फेटा हटा र मुकुट उतार् । कुराहरू फेरि त्यस्तै हुनेछैनन् । खसालिएको व्यक्तिलाई उठाइनेछ, र उच्च सम्झने व्यक्तिलाई खसालिनेछ ।
27 I will destroy, destroy, destroy it; and it shall be no more until he come to whom the right belongeth, and to whom I will give it.
भग्नावशेष! भग्नावशेष! त्यसलाई म भग्नावशेष बनाउनेछु । न्याय गर्न नियुक्त व्यक्ति नआएसम्म त्यो फेरि पुनर्निर्माण गरिनेछैन ।
28 And thou, son of man, prophesy, and say: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the sons of Ammon and their scorn; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn; to slay, to consume, is it furbished, so that it glittereth;
यसैले, ए मानिसको छोरो, तँ अगमवाणी बोल् र यसो भन्, 'अम्मोनका मानिसहरूमा आउन लागेको अपमानको बारेमा परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः एउटा तरवार, एउटा तरवार तरवार थुतिएको छ । नष्ट गर्नलाई त्यसमा धार लगाइएको छ । त्यसैले त्यो बिजुलीझैं हुनेछ!
29 while they see deceit for thee, and prophesy falsehood, that it may bring thee to the necks of the wicked that are slain, whose day cometh in the time when iniquity bringeth destruction.
अगमवक्ताहरूले तेरो विषयमा झूटो दर्शनहरू देखे तापनि, तेरो लागि झूटो धार्मिक विधिहरू गरे तापनि, यो तरवार मारिन लागेका दुष्टहरूको घाँटिमा पर्नेछ, जसको दण्डको दिन आएको छ र जसको अधर्मको समय सकिन लागेको छ ।
30 Return the sword into its sheath! In the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity, I will judge thee,
त्यो तरवारलाई त्यसको म्यानमा हाल् । तँ सृष्ट गरिएको ठाउँमा, तेरा सुरुको देशमा म तेरो इन्साफ गर्नेछु ।
31 and I will pour upon thee my indignation, I will blow upon thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hands of brutal men, skilful to destroy.
म मेरो क्रोध तँमाथि खन्याउनेछु! तेरो विरुद्धमा दन्केको मेरो रिस आगोझैं तँमाथि फुकिदिनेछु र तँलाई नाश गर्नलाई सिपालु, क्रूर मानिसहरूका हातमा सुम्पिदिनेछु ।
32 Thou shalt be fuel for the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; men shall no more remember thee. I, Jehovah, have spoken it.
तँ आगोको लागि दाउरा हुनेछस् । तेरो रगत देशको माझमा बग्नेछ । तेरो सम्झना फेरि कहिल्यै हुनेछैन, किनकि म परमप्रभुले नै यो घोषणा गरेको छु' ।”
