< Ezekiel 16 >

1 And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
Niheo amako indraike ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
O ana’ondatio, tohino t’Ierosalaime ty amo hativà’ iareoo,
3 and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to Jerusalem: Thine origin and thy nativity were of the land of Canaan. Thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother a Hittite.
le ano ty hoe, Hoe t’Iehovà Talè am’ Ierosalaime: Boak’ an-tane’ i nte-Kanàney ty nihirifa’o naho ty fifokoa’o; nte-Amore ty rae’o, vaho nte-Kite ty rene’o.
4 And as to thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water so as to be cleansed. Thou wast not sprinkled with salt, nor wrapped in swaddling-clothes.
Le i fisamahañe azoy, amy andro nahatoly azoy, tsy tinampake ty foe’o vaho tsy nisasaeñe an-drano irehe hañalio azo; tsy nozañan-tsira, tsy nifolokoñañe.
5 No eye pitied thee, to do to thee any of these things, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out into the open field, so as to loathe thyself, on the day thou wast born.
Tsy niferenaiñam-pihaino, tsy nanoañe leo raik’ amy rezay; fe nariañe amoka añe ty fiai’o hoe te tsy vara, amy andro nisamahañ’azoy.
6 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee in danger of being trodden under foot in thy blood, I said to thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live! yea, I said to thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live!
Niary ama’o iraho vaho nizoeko te nandeotse azo ty lio’o, le hoe ty asako ama’o, Aa ndra t’ie ami’ty lio’o, miveloma, Eka mbe tamo lio’oo irehe te nataoko ty hoe; miveloma,
7 I caused thee to increase like the plant of the field, and thou didst grow, and become tall, and didst attain to distinguished charms. Thy breasts swelled, and thy hair grew, whereas thou wast naked and bare.
naho nampanaranaheko ho maro manahake o ahetse an-kivokeo, le nitombo naho nihaabo, naho nihamineñe ravake fanjaka; nivoatse o nono’oo vaho nihalava o volo’oo; fe nihalo vaho nibongy.
8 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee, behold, it was thy time, the time of love. And I spread my skirt over thee and covered thy nakedness; and I swore to thee, and entered into covenant with thee, and thou becamest mine.
Niary ama’o iraho nisary naho ingo te tondrok’ ama’o ty san-katea; aa le narongoko ama’o ty sarimboko naho nisaroñako ty heña’o; le nifanta ama’o vaho nifañina ama’o, hoe t’Iehovà Talè, le ninjare Ahiko irehe;
9 Then I washed thee with water, yea, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.
sinasako an-drano, eka kinotriko ama’o ty lio’o, vaho nañiliñako menake.
10 I clothed thee also with broidered work, and gave thee shoes of seal's skin, and wrapped thee about with fine linen, and covered thee with silk.
Nisikinako an-tsatam-bahotse, naho nampiombeako holitse, naho nadiako lamba leny marerarera, vaho nasaroko lande.
11 And I decked thee with ornaments, and put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain upon thy neck.
Nampiradoradoako bije, naho niravahako o sira’oo, vaho rava-binanditse am-bozo’o eo.
12 And I put a jewel in thy nostril, and ear-rings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thy head.
Nanoako bange añ’oro’o naho kiviro an-tsofi’o eo vaho sabaka homozohozo an-doha’o eo.
13 Thus wast thou adorned with gold and silver, and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work. Fine flour and honey and oil didst thou eat; and thou wast exceedingly beautiful, and didst prosper so as to become a queen.
Izay ty nañaminañ’ azo am-bolafoty naho volamena; naho nisaroñ’ azo an-deny marerarera naho lande naho an-tsatam-bahotse; ie nihinañe bom-bare-bolè soa, reketse tantele naho menake, naho nimontramontra vaho nionjon-ko evaem-panjaka.
14 And thy renown went forth among the nations for thy beauty; for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord Jehovah.
Niboele amo kilakila’ ndatio ty hatsomerentsere’o; amy te niginohe’ ty engeko nanoako ama’oy, hoe t’Iehovà Talè. c
15 But thou didst trust in thy beauty, and didst play the harlot because of thy renown, and didst lavish thy fornications on every one that passed by; his was it.
Fe niatoa’o ty hasoa-vinta’o, naho nihisa an-karapiloañe ty amy faràm-binta’oy vaho fonga nadoa’o amy ze niary eo ty hatsimirira’o; hene niantofa’o ze nimb’ama’o.
16 And of thy garments thou didst take, and didst make thee high places, spread with divers colors, and didst play the harlot thereon, the like things to which shall not come to pass, neither shall they be.
Nihamine’o amo siki’oo ty kitrely tsaratseake naho nanoa’o hakarapiloañe; kanao tsy ho oniñe ty mañirinkiriñe izay, vaho tsy ho trea ka.
17 Thou didst take also thy fair jewels of my gold and my silver, which I gave thee, and didst make to thyself images of men, and didst commit fornication with them;
Le rinambe’o ka o firavahan-tsomerentsere’oo, i volamena naho volafoty natoloko azoy, nitsene’o sare’ ondaty vaho nanoa’o hakalalijahañe,
18 and thou didst take thy broidered garments and cover them; and thou didst set mine oil and mine incense before them.
le rinambe’o o siki’o maro-voloo hanikina’o aze, vaho nengae’o ama’e i menakoy naho i tsotsekoy;
19 My food also, which I gave thee, fine flour and oil and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou didst set it before them with a sweet savor; even thus it was, saith the Lord Jehovah.
i mofoko natoloko azoy; i bon-kaneñe soay, naho i menake reketse tantele nafahako azoy le nazotso’o ama’e ami’ty harifondrifo’e; izay ty ie, hoe t’Iehovà Talè.
20 Moreover thou didst take thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou didst bear to me, and these didst thou sacrifice to them to be devoured. Was it not enough for thee to commit fornication,
Mbore rinambe’o ka o ana-dahi’oo naho o anak’ ampela’oo, o sinama’o ho Ahikoo, vaho nisoroña’o habotseke. Ata’o ho raha kede hao o hakarapiloa’oo?
21 that thou didst slay my children, and deliver them up to cause them to pass through the fire to them?
Zinama’o o anakoo toe nisoroñe’o amo samposampon-drahao, ie nampirangae’o.
22 And in all thine abominations and thy fornications, thou didst not remember the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and in danger of being trampled under foot in thy blood.
Aa amy ze hene hativà’o naho amo fonga hakarapiloa’oo le nandikofa’o o andron-katanora’oo ie nibongy naho nihalo vaho nileore’ i lio’oy.
23 And it came to pass, after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe to thee! saith the Lord Jehovah, )
Ie añe iaby i halotsere’oy (hankàñe ama’o, hoe t’Iehovà Talè),
24 that thou didst build for thee an arched place, and make thee a high place in every street;
le songa niranjie’o tamboho, naho nitsenea’o kitrely o lalañeo;
25 at every head of the way didst thou build thy high place, and didst make thy beauty to be abhorred, and didst open thy feet to every one that passed by, and didst multiply thy fornications.
nanoe’o am-pifotoran-damoke eo o kitreli’o iabio, naho vineta’o ty hamotsotsora’o, naho vinela’o amy ze fonga niary eo o voro-pe’oo, vaho nampitomboe’o ty hatsimirira’o.
26 Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians, thy neighbors, having great members, and hast multiplied thy fornications to provoke me to anger.
Nañarapiloe’o amo ana’ i Mitsraimeo, o maromaso mpañarine azoo, vaho nampitomboe’o ty hatsimirira’o hanigike ty habosehako.
27 Therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand against thee, and have diminished thine allowance, and delivered thee to the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, who are ashamed of thy lewd way.
Inao, arè, natorakitsiko ama’o ty tañako naho naketrako ty fanahanako vaho tinoloko an-tsatrin’ tro’ o malaiñe azoo, o anak’ ampelan-te Pilisty salatse ami’ ty hatsimirira’oo.
28 Thou hast also committed fornication with the Assyrians, because thou wast insatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldst not be satisfied.
Mbore nanoa’o hakarapiloañe amo ana’ i Asoreo amy t’ihe tsy nieneñe; mbe nanoe’o hatsimirirañe avao fa tsy nietsake.
29 Thou hast also multiplied thy fornication with the land of Canaan, even to Chaldaea; and yet wast thou not satisfied therewith.
Nampitomboe’o an-tane Kenàne añe naho amo nte-Kasdio ka ty hakarapiloa’o, fe mbe tsy nahaeneñ’ azo.
30 How faint was thy heart, saith the Lord Jehovah, that thou didst all those things which an imperious whorish wife doeth,
Akore ty hamavozoan-tro’o, hoe t’Iehovà Talè, te ihe mitolom-panao irezay, toe satan-karapilo-mena,
31 in that thou didst build thine arched place at the head of every way, and make thy high place in every street! Thou wast not like a harlot, who scoffeth at her hire,
namboare’ o akiba’oo an-doha’ ze hene lalañe, naho songa nandranjia’o tamboho ankaboa’ ze atao tameañe! fe tsy nanahake o tsimirirañeo irehe kanao nalain-tambe.
32 but as an adulterous wife, that taketh strangers instead of her husband.
Hoe tañanjomba maromaso mpamonje ambahiny hisolo i vali’ey!
33 To all women that commit fornication men give a reward; but thou gavest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hiredst them to come to thee from every side to commit fornication with thee.
Toe fonga tambezañe o karapiloo, fa ihe ka manambe o miolots’ ama’oo, vaho banabanae’o hitotok’ azo tok’ aia tok’aia ty amo hatsimirira’oo.
34 Thou wast the reverse of other women in thy fornications. None followed after thee to commit fornication, but thou gavest the reward, and no reward was given thee, —therefore thou wast the reverse.
Aa le mifamotetse amo ampela ila’eo ami’ty hakalalija’o; tsy eo ty manahak’ azo, kanao mpanolon-tambe fa tsy toloren-tambe, toe mifamotetse.
35 Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of Jehovah!
Ie amy zao ry karapilo, tsanoño ty tsara’ Iehovà.
36 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy treasure was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered for fornication before thy lovers, and all thine abominable idols, and because of the blood of thy children, which thou didst give to them,
Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè: Kanao nadoañe ty haloloa’o naho naboak’ amo sakeza’oo o heña’o ty amy hakarapiloa’o naho o samposampo tiva’oo vaho ty amy lio’ o keleia’o nibanabana’oo;
37 therefore, behold, I will gather all thy lovers, to whom thou wast pleasing, all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated, I will gather them against thee round about, and will uncover thy nakedness to them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
ie amy zao, henteo te sindre hatontoko o sipa’o nifalea’oo, eka! ze fonga nitea’o, reketse o niheje’oo; vata’e hatontoko hiatreatre azo boak’ an-kotso-valo, le haborako o heña’oo, hahatreavañe ze hene fiboridaña’o.
38 And I will judge thee as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged, and I will cause thy blood to flow in fury and jealousy.
Le ho zakaeko: hoe rakemba vinamba naho nampiori-dio ty hizakàñe azo; vaho hafetsako ama’o ty liom-kaviñerañe naho farahy.
39 And I will give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine arched place, and break down thy high places. They shall also strip thee of thy clothes, and leave thee naked and bare.
Le haseseko am-pità’ iareo naho ho rotsahe’ iareo o toe’o aboo naho ho demohe’ iareo o kitreli’oo, le hampikorendahe’ iareo ka o siki’oo naho hitavañe ty haraom-bolonahe’o vaho hapo’ iereo mibongy naho mihalo irehe.
40 They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords;
Hendese iereo haname azo ka i lahialeñey, hametsa-bato ama’o vaho hitombok’ azo am-pibara.
41 and they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women; and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou shalt give hire no more.
Ho forototoe’ iareo añ’ afo o anjomba’oo naho hizaka azo añatrefan-drakemba maro; le hazìko irehe tsy hanao tsimirirañe, tsy hanambe ka.
42 So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee; and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
Izay ty hampanintsiñe ty fifomboko ama’o naho hampienga ty famarahiako ama’o le hitsiñe iraho vaho tsy ho boseke ka.
43 Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast raged against me in all these things, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thy head, saith the Lord Jehovah, so that thou shalt not commit this wickedness in addition to all thy abominations.
Amy t’ie nandikoke ty san-katora’o naho nanigìke ty habosehako ty amy rezay; le inao! navahako an-doha’o eo o sata’oo, hoe t’Iehovà Talè; soa tsy fonga hatovo’o amo hativà’ o ila’eo o haloloañe zao.
44 Behold, all they that use proverbs shall utter this proverb concerning thee: “As the mother, so the daughter.”
Inao, te ze hene mpanoñon-drazan-drehake ro hanao o razan-drehake zao ty ama’o: Hambañe aman-drene’e ty anak’ ampela’e.
45 Thou art the daughter of thy mother, that loathed her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, that loathed their husbands and their children; your mother was a Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
Ihe anak’ ampelan-drene’o ty malaim-baly naho amory; ihe ka i rahavaven-droahavave’o nalaim-baly naho o keleia’eoy; nte-Kite ty rene’o naho nte-Amore ty rae’o.
46 And thine elder sister is Samaria, with her daughters, that dwelleth at thy left hand; and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom, with her daughters.
I Somerone rahavave’o, toe zoke’o, rekets’ o anak’ ampela’eo ro mimoneñe an-taña’o havia eo; vaho zai’o t’i Sedome mitobok’ an-taña’o havana eo rekets’ o anak’ ampela’eo.
47 Yet thou hast not walked in their ways, nor done according to their abominations: that was disdained by you, as a very little thing; thou hast been more corrupt than they in all thy ways.
Toe tsy norihe’o ty sata’ iareo, naho tsy nanoe’o ty sata rati’ iareo, fe hoe raha biliti’e ama’o t’ie nilombolombo’ iareo ami’ty haleora’ o sata’o iabio.
48 As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, Sodom, thy sister, hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.
Amy te velon-dRaho, hoe t’Iehovà Talè, mbe lia’e tsy nanoe’ i Sedome zai’o naho o anak’ampela’eo o nanoe’o naho o anak’ampela’oo.
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of Sodom, thy sister: in pride, superabundance, and careless ease did she live, she and her daughters, and the hand of the poor and needy she did not strengthen;
Inao! zao ty hakeo’ i zai’o Sedomey: firengevohañe naho hatemboañe vaho fitobahan-kavotroañe ty ama’e naho o anak’ampela’eo, naho tsy nampahozare’e ty fitàm-pisotry ndra o rarakeo.
50 and they were haughty, and committed abomination before me; therefore I took them away when I saw it.
Nitrotroaboke iereo, nanao hativañe añatrefako eo; aa kanao nataoko te hahasoa, le nakareko añe.
51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.
Le i Somerone, ndra te tsy nanoe’e ty an-tsasan-kakeo’o; toe nampitomboe’o mandikoatse iereo o haloloa’oo, le hoe nañavantañ’ o zoke’oo o fonga hativañe nanoe’oo.
52 Now, therefore, bear thou thy shame, to which thou hast condemned thy sisters, since by thy sins which thou hast committed, more abominable than they, they are more righteous than thou. Yea, be thou confounded and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.
Aa ihe nizaka o rahavave’oo, vaveo ty hasalara’ o hakeo nanoe’oo, ie nilosore’o ty hativà’ iareo; toe vantañe te ama’o iereo; mimeñara vaho vaveo heike o fisalara’oo amy te nivantañe’o o rahavave’oo.
53 Yet I will bring them back from their captivity, even Sodom and her daughters from their captivity, and Samaria and her daughters from their captivity; thee also will I bring back from thy captivity in the midst of them;
Aa ie afoteko ty fandrohiza’ iareo, ty fandrohiza’ i Sedome rekets’ o anak’ampela’eo naho ty fandrohiza’ i Somerone mitraok’ amo anak’ ampela’eo, le habalako ka ty fandrohiza’ o mpirohi’oo añivo’ iareo ao;
54 that thou mayst bear thy shame, and mayst be confounded on account of all which thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort to them.
soa te ho vave’o ty fisalara’o, vaho ho meñare’o o fonga sata nanoe’oo, ihe nimpañohò iareo.
55 And thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, and thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.
Ie mitampoly amy toe’ iareo valoha’ey t’i Sedome rekets’ o anak’ ampela’eo, naho mibalike mb’amy fanoe’ iareoy ka t’i Somerone miroanak’ ampela’e, le himpoly an-toe’o haehae ka irehe naho o anak’ ampela’oo.
56 And yet Sodom, thy sister, was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride
Tsy nati’ ty vava’o hao t’i Sedome rahavave’o tamy ihe nimpirengevokey?
57 before thy wickedness was discovered, as in the time of thy reproach from the daughters of Syria, and from all that were round about her, and from the daughters of the Philistines, who despised thee round about.
taolo’ te nitendreke ty halò-tsere’o, manahake tañ’ andro ninjè’ o ana’o Arame miariseho azoo, naho o anak’ ampela’ o nte-Pelisity mañohoke azoo: o mpañamavo azo nainai’eo.
58 Thy wickedness and thine abominations must thou now bear, saith the Lord Jehovah.
Fa nivavè’o o haloloa’oo naho o hativa’oo hoe t’Iehovà.
59 For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will do to thee as thou hast done, who hast despised the oath and hast broken the covenant.
Aa le hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè, Hanoeko ama’o hambañe amy nanoe’oy, ie nitsambolitio’o i fantay hivaliha’o amy fañinay.
60 But I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish with thee an everlasting covenant.
Fa ho tiahiko i nifañinako ama’o tañ’ andron-katora’oy vaho hajadoko ama’o ty fañina tsy ho modo.
61 Then shalt thou remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger, and I shall give them to thee for daughters, but not by thy observance of thy covenant.
Ho tiahi’o amy zao o sata’oo, le ho salatse naho ho rambese’o indraike i rahavave’o rey, ty zoke’o naho ty zai’o; le hatoloko azo iereo ho anak’ ampela, fa tsy amy fañina’oy.
62 But I will establish my covenant with thee, and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah;
I fañinakoy ty hajadoko ama’o, le ho fohi’o te Izaho Iehovà,
63 that thou mayst remember and be confounded, and not open thy mouth any more for shame, when I forgive thee all which thou hast done, saith the Lord Jehovah.
soa te ho tiahi’o, naho ho meñatse, vaho tsy hanoka-bava ka ty amy fisalara’oy, ie fonga hahako o sata-rati’oo, hoe t’Iehovà Talè.
