Ezekiel 16
1 And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
És lőn az Úr beszéde hozzám, mondván:
2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
Embernek fia! add tudtára Jeruzsálemnek az ő útálatosságait,
3 and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to Jerusalem: Thine origin and thy nativity were of the land of Canaan. Thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother a Hittite.
És mondjad: Így szól az Úr Isten Jeruzsálemnek: A te származásod és születésed Kanaán földjéről való; atyád az Emoreus és anyád Hitteus asszony.
4 And as to thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water so as to be cleansed. Thou wast not sprinkled with salt, nor wrapped in swaddling-clothes.
Születésed pedig ilyen volt: a mely napon születtél, el nem metszették a köldöködet, és vízzel meg nem mostak, hogy tiszta lennél, sóval sem töröltek meg, sem be nem póláltak.
5 No eye pitied thee, to do to thee any of these things, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out into the open field, so as to loathe thyself, on the day thou wast born.
Szem meg nem szánt téged, hogy ezekből valamit veled cselekedett volna, könyörülvén rajtad; hanem kivetettek a nyilt mezőre, mert útáltak, a mely napon születtél.
6 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee in danger of being trodden under foot in thy blood, I said to thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live! yea, I said to thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live!
Ekkor elmenék melletted és látálak véredben eltapodva, és mondék néked: A te véredben élj! mondék ismét néked: A te véredben élj!
7 I caused thee to increase like the plant of the field, and thou didst grow, and become tall, and didst attain to distinguished charms. Thy breasts swelled, and thy hair grew, whereas thou wast naked and bare.
Sok ezerekre szaporítottalak, mint a mezei füvet, és megszaporodál és fölnevekedél és jutál nagy szépségre; emlőid duzzadának s szőröd kinőtt vala, de te mezítelen és befedezetlen valál.
8 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee, behold, it was thy time, the time of love. And I spread my skirt over thee and covered thy nakedness; and I swore to thee, and entered into covenant with thee, and thou becamest mine.
Ekkor elmenék melletted, és látálak, és ímé a te korod a szerelem kora vala, és kiterjesztém fölötted szárnyamat s befödözém mezítelenségedet, és megesküvém néked s frigyre léptem veled; azt mondja az Úr Isten, és lől az enyém.
9 Then I washed thee with water, yea, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.
És megmosálak vízzel és elmosám rólad véredet, és megkenélek olajjal.
10 I clothed thee also with broidered work, and gave thee shoes of seal's skin, and wrapped thee about with fine linen, and covered thee with silk.
És felöltöztetélek hímes ruhába, és felsaruztalak borjúfóka bőrrel, s övezélek fehér gyolcscsal s befedélek selyemmel.
11 And I decked thee with ornaments, and put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain upon thy neck.
És felékesítélek ékeségekkel, s adtam karpereczeket kezeidre és lánczot nyakadra.
12 And I put a jewel in thy nostril, and ear-rings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thy head.
És adtam orrpereczet orrodra és függőket füleidre és ékes koronát fejedre.
13 Thus wast thou adorned with gold and silver, and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work. Fine flour and honey and oil didst thou eat; and thou wast exceedingly beautiful, and didst prosper so as to become a queen.
És felékesítéd magadat aranynyal és ezüsttel, és öltözeted vala fehér gyolcs és selyem és hímes ruha; lánglisztet, mézet és olajat ettél, és megszépülél felette igen, s királyságra jutál.
14 And thy renown went forth among the nations for thy beauty; for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord Jehovah.
És kiméne híred a pogányok közé a te szépségedért; mert tökéletes vala az ékességeim által, a melyeket reád tettem, azt mondja az Úr Isten.
15 But thou didst trust in thy beauty, and didst play the harlot because of thy renown, and didst lavish thy fornications on every one that passed by; his was it.
De elbízád magadat szépségedben és paráznává lőn híred szerint, elárasztál paráznaságaiddal minden melletted elmenőt: legyen kedve szerint!
16 And of thy garments thou didst take, and didst make thee high places, spread with divers colors, and didst play the harlot thereon, the like things to which shall not come to pass, neither shall they be.
És vevél a te ruháidból s csinálál magadnak magaslatokat különböző szinnel borítva, s paráználkodál azokon; ilyen még nem volt és nem is lesz.
17 Thou didst take also thy fair jewels of my gold and my silver, which I gave thee, and didst make to thyself images of men, and didst commit fornication with them;
És vevéd a te ékességidet az én aranyomból és ezüstömből, melyeket néked adtam, és csináltál magadnak férfiú képeket, és azokkal paráználkodál.
18 and thou didst take thy broidered garments and cover them; and thou didst set mine oil and mine incense before them.
És vevéd hímes ruháidat és befedezéd azokat, és olajomat és füstölőszeremet vetéd eléjök.
19 My food also, which I gave thee, fine flour and oil and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou didst set it before them with a sweet savor; even thus it was, saith the Lord Jehovah.
És az én eledelemet, melyet néked adtam, – lángliszttel és olajjal és mézzel etettelek vala, – ő eléjök rakád kedves illatul; így lőn, ezt mondja az Úr Isten.
20 Moreover thou didst take thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou didst bear to me, and these didst thou sacrifice to them to be devoured. Was it not enough for thee to commit fornication,
És vevéd a te fiaidat és leányaidat, kiket nékem szültél vala, és megáldozád őket azoknak eledelül. Avagy nem volt-é már elég paráznaságodból,
21 that thou didst slay my children, and deliver them up to cause them to pass through the fire to them?
Hogy megölted fiaimat is, és oda adád őket, midőn tűzben nékik áldozád?
22 And in all thine abominations and thy fornications, thou didst not remember the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and in danger of being trampled under foot in thy blood.
És minden útálatosságaidban és paráznaságaidban meg nem emlékeztél a te ifjúságod napjairól mikor mezítelen és befedezetlen valál, véredben eltapodva voltál.
23 And it came to pass, after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe to thee! saith the Lord Jehovah, )
És lőn minden gonoszságod után, (Jaj, jaj néked! azt mondja az Úr Isten, )
24 that thou didst build for thee an arched place, and make thee a high place in every street;
Építél magadnak tetőt, és csináltál magaslatot minden utczán.
25 at every head of the way didst thou build thy high place, and didst make thy beauty to be abhorred, and didst open thy feet to every one that passed by, and didst multiply thy fornications.
És minden keresztútnál megépítéd magaslatodat, s útálatossá tevéd szépségedet, és kétfelé vetéd lábaidat minden melletted elmenőnek, és sokasítád paráznaságodat.
26 Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians, thy neighbors, having great members, and hast multiplied thy fornications to provoke me to anger.
És paráználkodál Égyiptom fiaival, szomszédiddal, a nagytestűekkel, és sokasítád paráznaságodat, hogy engem ingerelj.
27 Therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand against thee, and have diminished thine allowance, and delivered thee to the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, who are ashamed of thy lewd way.
És ímé kinyújtottam kezemet ellened, s megkisebbítém rendelt részedet, és adálak téged a te gyűlölőidnek, a Filiszteusok leányainak csúfolásukra, a kik átallák fajtalan útadat.
28 Thou hast also committed fornication with the Assyrians, because thou wast insatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldst not be satisfied.
S Assiria fiaival is paráználkodál, mert meg nem elégedél; paráználkodál velök, és még sem elégedél meg.
29 Thou hast also multiplied thy fornication with the land of Canaan, even to Chaldaea; and yet wast thou not satisfied therewith.
És sokasítád paráznaságodat a kalmárok földje, Káldea felé, de még ezzel sem elégedél meg.
30 How faint was thy heart, saith the Lord Jehovah, that thou didst all those things which an imperious whorish wife doeth,
Mily gyenge a szíved, azt mondja az Úr Isten, hogy mindezeket cselekedted, egy rakonczátlan rima cselekedeteit!
31 in that thou didst build thine arched place at the head of every way, and make thy high place in every street! Thou wast not like a harlot, who scoffeth at her hire,
Hogy állítál magadnak fedelet minden keresztúton, és magaslatokat csinálál minden utczán, de nem voltál olyan, mint a rima, kicsibe véve a bért.
32 but as an adulterous wife, that taketh strangers instead of her husband.
Te házasságtörő asszony! férje helyett idegeneket fogad el!
33 To all women that commit fornication men give a reward; but thou gavest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hiredst them to come to thee from every side to commit fornication with thee.
Minden rimának bért adnak, te pedig magad adtad ajándékidat minden szeretődnek, így megvásárlád őket, hogy bemenjenek hozzád mindenfelől paráznaságidért.
34 Thou wast the reverse of other women in thy fornications. None followed after thee to commit fornication, but thou gavest the reward, and no reward was given thee, —therefore thou wast the reverse.
És lőn különbség közted és más asszonyok közt paráznaságaidban; mert utánad nem jártak a paráznák; te adál bért nékik és bért ők nem adának néked, így lőn különbséged.
35 Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of Jehovah!
Azért te rima, halld meg az Úr beszédét!
36 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy treasure was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered for fornication before thy lovers, and all thine abominable idols, and because of the blood of thy children, which thou didst give to them,
Így szól az Úr Isten: A miatt, hogy eláradt gyalázatod és föl van takarva mezítelenséged a te szeretőiddel való paráznaságaidban; és minden útálatos bálványaid miatt és fiaid vére miatt, kiket azoknak adtál:
37 therefore, behold, I will gather all thy lovers, to whom thou wast pleasing, all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated, I will gather them against thee round about, and will uncover thy nakedness to them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
Ezokáért ímé egybegyűjtöm minden szeretődet, kiknek kedves valál, és mindazokat, a kiket szerettél, együtt azokkal, a kiket gyűlöltél, és egybegyűjtöm őket ellened mindenfelől, és föltakarom mezítelenségedet előttök, hogy lássák minden te mezítelenségedet.
38 And I will judge thee as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged, and I will cause thy blood to flow in fury and jealousy.
És megítéllek téged a házasságtörő és vért ontó asszonyok ítéletével, és véredet kiontatom búsulásomban és féltő szerelmemben.
39 And I will give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine arched place, and break down thy high places. They shall also strip thee of thy clothes, and leave thee naked and bare.
És adlak téged kezökbe, és leszakítják tetődet és lerontják magaslataidat és lehúzzák rólad ruháidat és elveszik ékességeidet, és hagynak mezítelenül s ruhátalanul.
40 They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords;
És összehoznak gyűlést ellened, és megköveznek és összevagdalnak fegyvereikkel.
41 and they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women; and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou shalt give hire no more.
És megégetik házaidat tűzzel, és ítéletet cselekesznek rajtad sok asszony szeme láttára, és megszüntetem paráznaságodat, és bért sem adsz többé.
42 So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee; and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
És megnyugotom búsulásomat rajtad, hogy eltávozzék féltő szerelmem te tőled, s megnyugoszom és többé nem haragszom.
43 Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast raged against me in all these things, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thy head, saith the Lord Jehovah, so that thou shalt not commit this wickedness in addition to all thy abominations.
Mivelhogy meg nem emlékeztél ifjúságod napjairól, és ingerlettél engem mindezekkel, azért ímé én is fejedhez verem útadat, ezt mondja az Úr Isten, és többé nem cselekszed a fajtalanságot minden útálatosságod mellett.
44 Behold, all they that use proverbs shall utter this proverb concerning thee: “As the mother, so the daughter.”
Ímé, valaki közmondással él, rólad veszi azt, mondván: A minémű az anya, olyan a leánya is.
45 Thou art the daughter of thy mother, that loathed her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, that loathed their husbands and their children; your mother was a Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
Anyád leánya vagy te, a ki megútálta férjét s fiait, és öcséidnek nénje vagy, a kik megútálták férjeiket és fiaikat; anyátok Hitteus asszony és atyátok Emoreus.
46 And thine elder sister is Samaria, with her daughters, that dwelleth at thy left hand; and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom, with her daughters.
És a te nénéd Samaria vala, ő és leányai, ki balkezed felől lakik vala; és öcséd, a ki jobbkezed felől lakik vala, Sodoma és leányai.
47 Yet thou hast not walked in their ways, nor done according to their abominations: that was disdained by you, as a very little thing; thou hast been more corrupt than they in all thy ways.
És nem az ő útaikon jártál, és nem az ő útálatosságaik szerint cselekedtél, de csak kevés ideig; de aztán gonoszabb valál azoknál minden útadban.
48 As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, Sodom, thy sister, hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.
Élek én! azt mondja az Úr Isten, így nem cselekedett Sodoma, a te öcséd, ő és leányai, a mint cselekedtél te és a te leányaid.
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of Sodom, thy sister: in pride, superabundance, and careless ease did she live, she and her daughters, and the hand of the poor and needy she did not strengthen;
Ímé, ez volt a vétke Sodomának, a te öcsédnek: kevélység, eledel bősége és gondtalan békesség volt nála és leányainál, de a szűkölködőnek és szegénynek kezét nem fogta meg.
50 and they were haughty, and committed abomination before me; therefore I took them away when I saw it.
És felfuvalkodának s cselekedének útálatosságot előttem, és elveszítém őket, mikor ezt megláttam.
51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.
És Samaria félannyit sem vétkezett, mint te, mert többek a te útálatosságaid, mint az övék; és így nőtestvéreidet nálad igazabbaknak bizonyítád minden útálatosságiddal, a melyeket cselekvél.
52 Now, therefore, bear thou thy shame, to which thou hast condemned thy sisters, since by thy sins which thou hast committed, more abominable than they, they are more righteous than thou. Yea, be thou confounded and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.
Te is azért viseld gyalázatodat, a melyre pedig nénédet ítélted; a te bűneid miatt, melyekben nálok útálatosabban cselekvél, igazabbak ők nálad. Szégyenülj meg hát te is s viseld gyalázatodat, hogy nőtestvéreidet nálad igazabbaknak bizonyítád.
53 Yet I will bring them back from their captivity, even Sodom and her daughters from their captivity, and Samaria and her daughters from their captivity; thee also will I bring back from thy captivity in the midst of them;
És visszahozom foglyaikat, Sodomának s leányainak foglyait és Samariának s leányainak foglyait; s visszahozom a te foglyaidat is amazok közepette;
54 that thou mayst bear thy shame, and mayst be confounded on account of all which thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort to them.
Azért, hogy viseljed gyalázatodat és megszégyenülj mindazokért, miket cselekedtél, mikor azoknak vígasztalásukra leszel.
55 And thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, and thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.
És nőtestvéreid, Sodoma és leányai visszatérnek előbbi állapotjokba, és Samaria s leányai visszatérnek előbbi állapotjokba, és te is és leányaid visszatértek előbbi állapototokba.
56 And yet Sodom, thy sister, was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride
És nem vala-é öcséd, Sodoma, szóbeszéd a te szádban kevélykedésed napján,
57 before thy wickedness was discovered, as in the time of thy reproach from the daughters of Syria, and from all that were round about her, and from the daughters of the Philistines, who despised thee round about.
Minekelőtte kitudódott volna gonoszságod; a miképen te most gyalázatuk vagy Siria leányainak s minden körülötted valóknak, a Filiszteusok leányainak, kik útálnak téged köröskörül?
58 Thy wickedness and thine abominations must thou now bear, saith the Lord Jehovah.
Fajtalanságodat és útálatosságaidat magad viseled, azt mondja az Úr.
59 For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will do to thee as thou hast done, who hast despised the oath and hast broken the covenant.
Mert ezt mondja az Úr Isten: És ha úgy cselekedtem veled, mint te cselekedtél, midőn megvetetted az esküt, hogy megtörd a frigyet:
60 But I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish with thee an everlasting covenant.
Én megemlékezem frigyemről, a melyet veled ifjúságod napjaiban kötöttem, és örök frigyet vetek veled.
61 Then shalt thou remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger, and I shall give them to thee for daughters, but not by thy observance of thy covenant.
És te megemlékezel útaidról és megszégyenled magadat, mikor hozzád veszed nőtestvéreidet, a kik nagyobbak nálad, együtt azokkal, a kik kisebbek, s adom őket néked leányaidul, de nem a te frigyedből.
62 But I will establish my covenant with thee, and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah;
És én megerősítem frigyemet veled, s megismered, hogy én vagyok az Úr.
63 that thou mayst remember and be confounded, and not open thy mouth any more for shame, when I forgive thee all which thou hast done, saith the Lord Jehovah.
Hogy megemlékezzél és pirulj, és meg ne nyissad többé szádat szégyenletedben, mikor megkegyelmezek néked mindenekben, valamit cselekedtél, azt mondja az Úr Isten.
