< Ezekiel 13 >

1 And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
Awurade asɛm baa me nkyɛn sɛ,
2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say to them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of Jehovah!
“Onipa ba, hyɛ nkɔm tia Israel adiyifoɔ a wɔhyɛ nkɔm seesei. Ka kyerɛ wɔn a wɔbɔ wɔn tirim hyɛ nkɔm no sɛ: ‘Montie Awurade asɛm!
3 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
Yei na Otumfoɔ Awurade seɛ: Nnome nka adiyifoɔ nkwaseafoɔ a wɔdi wɔn ankasa honhom akyi na wɔnhunuu hwee no.
4 Thy prophets, O Israel, are like the foxes in the deserts.
Ao Israelfoɔ, mo adiyifoɔ yi te sɛ mmubuiɛ mu kɔkɔbo.
5 Ye have not gone up into the breaches, nor built a wall around the house of Israel, to stand in battle in the day of Jehovah.
Monkɔeɛ sɛ morekɔsiesie afasuo no afaafa a abubu no ama Israel efie, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛtumi agyina pintinn wɔ ɔko no ano, Awurade ɛda no.’
6 They see falsehood, and lying divination. They say, “Jehovah hath spoken,” when Jehovah hath not sent them; and they cause men to hope for the fulfilment of the word.
Wɔn adehunu yɛ atorɔ, na wɔn adebisa yɛ nnaadaa. Wɔka sɛ, ‘Awurade aka sɛ,’ wɔ ɛberɛ a Awurade nsomaa wɔn, nanso wɔhwɛ anim sɛ wɔn nkɔmhyɛ bɛba mu.
7 Have ye not seen a false vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, and said, “Jehovah hath spoken,” when I have not spoken?
Sɛ wɔka sɛ, ‘Yei na Awurade seɛ’, wɔ ɛberɛ a menkasaeɛ a, na wɔn anisoadehunu nnyɛ atorɔ? Na wɔn adebisa nso, ɛnnyɛ nnaadaa anaa?
8 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken falsehood and have seen a lie, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord Jehovah.
“Ɛno enti, sɛdeɛ Otumfoɔ Awurade seɛ nie: ‘Mo nsɛm a ɛyɛ atorɔ ne mo nnaadaa anisoadehunu enti, me ne mo anya’, Otumfoɔ Awurade asɛm nie.
9 My hand shall be against the prophets that see falsehood and divine lies. They shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the register of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.
Me nsa bɛtia adiyifoɔ a wɔn anisoadehunu yɛ atorɔ na wɔn abisa yɛ nnaadaa. Wɔremfra me nkurɔfoɔ badwafoɔ mu, na wɔrentwerɛ wɔn din wɔ Israel efie nwoma no mu, na wɔn nan rensi Israel asase so. Na afei wɔbɛhunu sɛ mene Otumfoɔ Awurade.
10 Because, yea, because they seduce my people, and say, “Peace!” when there is no peace; and one buildeth up a wall, and, behold, they daub it with untempered mortar;
“Esiane sɛ wɔama me nkurɔfoɔ ayera ɛkwan, na wɔka sɛ ‘Asomdwoeɛ’, wɔ ɛberɛ a asomdwoeɛ nni hɔ, na afei, sɛ wɔto ɔfasuo a ɛnni ahoɔden bi a wɔde akaadoo afa so enti,
11 say to them which daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall; there shall be an overflowing shower, and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall, and a stormy wind shall rend it.
ka kyerɛ wɔn a wɔka akaadoo no sɛ, ɔfasuo no rebɛbu. Osubrane bɛtɔ, na mɛsoma asukɔtweaa, na mframa a ano yɛ den bɛbɔ.
12 So when the wall is fallen, shall not men say to you, “Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?”
Na sɛ ɔfasuo no bu gu fam a, nnipa remmisa wɔn sɛ, ‘ɛhe na akaadoo a wɔde sraa ho no afa’ anaa?
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury, and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
“Ɛno enti, deɛ Otumfoɔ Awurade seɛ nie: ‘Mʼabufuhyeɛ mu, mɛma ahum atu, na mʼabufuo mu no, asukɔtweaa ne osubrane de adesɛeɛ ahoɔden atɔ.
14 Thus I will break down the wall which ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and will bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered; it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof, that ye may know that I am Jehovah.
Mɛdwiri ɔfasuo a mode akaadoo afa ho no na mabubu agu fam ama ne fapem ho ada hɔ. Sɛ ɔfasuo no hwe ase a, wɔbɛsɛe mo wɔ mu, na mobɛhunu sɛ mene Awurade.
15 Thus will I accomplish my fury upon the wall, and upon them that daubed it with untempered mortar; and I will say to you, The wall is no more, nor they that daubed it;
Enti mede mʼabufuhyeɛ bɛkɔ ɔfasuo no ne wɔn a wɔde akaadoo sraa ho no so. Mɛka akyerɛ mo sɛ, ɔfasuo no nni hɔ bio, na saa ara na wɔn a wɔde akaadoo sraa ho no nni hɔ.
16 even the prophets of Israel, who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and see visions of peace for her when there is no peace, saith the Lord Jehovah.
Wɔyɛ Israel adiyifoɔ a wɔhyɛɛ nkɔm maa Yerusalem na wɔhunuu asomdwoeɛ anisoadeɛ, wɔ ɛberɛ a asomdwoeɛ nni hɔ’, Otumfoɔ Awurade na ɔseɛ.
17 Likewise, son of man, set thou thy face against the daughters of thy people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them.
“Afei, onipa ba, ma wʼani nkɔ wo mmaa a wɔbɔ wɔn tirim hyɛ nkɔm so. Hyɛ nkɔm tia wɔn
18 And say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the women that sew cushions for all elbows, and make pillows for heads of every stature, to ensnare men to destruction! Will ye hunt the lives of my people, and shall ye save your own?
19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley, and for pieces of bread, slaying them that should not die, and saving them alive that should not live, by lying to my people, who hearken to your lies?
Moasopa me wɔ me nkurɔfoɔ mu de agye atokoɔ nsabuo kakra bi ne burodo asinasini. Monam atorɔ a modi kyerɛ me nkurɔfoɔ a wɔtie atorɔ so akunkum wɔn a anka ɛnsɛ sɛ wɔ wuwu, na moama wɔn a anka ɛnsɛ sɛ wɔtena nkwa mu no afa wɔn ho adi.
20 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will set myself against the cushions with which ye ensnare men to destruction, so that they shall escape you; and I will tear them from your arms, and make them free whom ye would ensnare, so that they shall escape you.
“‘No enti, yei na Otumfoɔ Awurade seɛ: Metia mo ntafowayie dwomfadeɛ a mode sum nkurɔfoɔ afidie sɛ nnomaa no, na mɛtete afiri mo abasa so; mɛgyaa nnipa a mosum wɔn afidie sɛ nnomaa no.
21 Your pillows also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall no more be in your hand to be ensnared, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
Mɛtete mo nkatanimu no mu afiri mo anim, na magye me nkurɔfoɔ nkwa afiri mo nsam, na morennya wɔn so tumi bio. Afei mobɛhunu sɛ me ne Awurade.
22 Because with lies ye have made sad the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad, and have strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life;
Esiane sɛ mode atorɔ maa teneneefoɔ aba mu buiɛ wɔ ɛberɛ a menhyɛɛ wɔn awerɛhoɔ, na mohyɛɛ amumuyɛfoɔ nkuran sɛ wɔnkɔ so wɔ wɔn akwan bɔne so na moagye wɔn nkwa no
23 therefore shall ye no more see falsehood, nor divine divinations; but I will deliver my people out of your hand, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
enti, morenhunu atorɔ anisoadeɛ bio na mobɛgyae ntafowayie nso. Mɛgye me nkurɔfoɔ afiri mo nsa mu, na afei mobɛhunu sɛ me ne Awurade no.’”
