< Ephesians 5 >

1 Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children;
Pa uluo muvisaghe vaanhu va kum'bingilila u Nguluve heene vaanha va mwene avaghanike.
2 and walk in love, as Christ also loved you, and gave himself for you an offering and a sacrifice to God, of a sweet odor.
Mughendaghe mulughano, vulevule ndavule u Kilisite atughanile usue, alihumisie jujuo vwimila usue. Umwene alyale litekelo kange ng'oolo jujuo kuuva nulunusi lunono ulwa kumovosia u Nguluve.
3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becometh saints,
Uvuvwafu nambe uvunyali vwevwoni nuvunoghelua uvuvivi vunoghile navungatambulaghe mulyumue, ndavule jilondua kuviitiki,
4 neither obscenity, nor foolish talking, nor indecent jesting, which are not becoming; but rather giving of thanks.
nambe isakukalasia nasingatambuluaghe, imuling'ano isa kiijasu, nambe imbedo isa kubedania, sino nasigholwike, ulwene pesivisaghe inyongesio.
5 For of this ye are sure, since ye know that no whore-monger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Munoghile kuuva nuvwakyang'haani kuuti kuli vuvwafu, uvunyali, nambe juno inoghelua, ujuo ikufunya ifihwani, alivuvule uvuhasi kuvutua vwa Kilisite nhu Nguluve.
6 Let no one deceive you with vain words; for because of these things the wrath of God cometh upon the sons of disobedience.
Umuunhu ghweni nanga kusyangagheku masio vulevule, ulwakuva amasio agha lyojo lya Nguluve likwisa kuvaala vano navikumwitika.
7 Be not therefore partakers with them.
Pa uluo nungavisaghe muhangilanisi palikimo na veene.
8 For ye were once darkness, but now ye are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,
Ulwakuva umue pavwasio mukale mu ng'iisi, looli lino mulimulumuli ulwa Mutwa.
9 —for the fruit of the light is in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth, —
Pa uluo mughendaghe heene vaana valumuli. Ulwakuva imekebsa lumuli siling'ana nu vunono vwoni, uvwa kyang'haani nuvwa lweli.
10 proving what is acceptable to the Lord;
Mulondaghe kila kinu kihovosie kwa Mutwa.
11 and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
Napwevungavisaghe uvuhangilanisi mumbombo isa mu ng'iisi sino nasilinimeke, pa uluo sivike pa vwelu.
12 For the things done in secret by them it is a shame even to speak of.
Ulwakuuva iisi sivombua na vene kuvusyefu se soni kyongo kange kukwolelela.
13 But all things, when reproved, are made manifest by the light; for whatever maketh manifest is light.
Amasio ghoni pano ghivikua pavuvalafu nulumuli ghiva pa vwelilu,
14 Wherefore he saith, “Awake, thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give thee light.”
ulwakuva kiila kiinu kino kilipavuvalafu kiva palumuli. Pa uluo kiiti ndiiki, “Sisimuka uve ghwejuno ghughona, kange ghwime kuhuma kuvafue kange u Kilisite imulika palyuve”
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly; not as unwise men, but as wise;
Pa uluo muvisaghe mulelelaghe pano mughenda, na kwekuuti heene avaanhu vaano navalinuvukagusi looli heene vakagusi.
16 buying up for yourselves opportunities, because the days are evil.
Mulutaghe nu nsiki ulwakuva ifighono fye fya vuhosi.
17 Wherefore be not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Namungavisaghe vajasu, pa uluo mukagule kiinu kiiki mu vughene vwa Mutwa.
18 And be not drunk with wine, in which is dissoluteness, but be filled with the Spirit,
Namungaghalaghe nhu luhuje, vilongosia ku vanangifu, pa uluo mumemesevue nhu Mhepo u Mwimike.
19 speaking to one another in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Mujovaghe nhu muunhu ghweni mulyumue mu nyimbo, nulughinio, nhinyimbo isa mhepo. Imbagha kange mughiniaghe nhu mwoojo ghwa Mutwa.
20 giving thanks always for all things to God, the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Jaatu humiagha uluhongesio mu isi sooni mulitavua lya Yesu Kilisite Mutwa ghwitu kwa Nguluve u Nhaata.
21 submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ.
Muhumiaghe jumue umuunhu ghweni kwa junge nu vwoghopua vwa Kilisite.
22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord;
Va mama, muhumiaghe ku vaghosi viinu, ndavule kwa Mutwa.
23 for the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church, —he, who is the Saviour of the body.
Ulwakuva umughosi ghwe Mutua ghwa mumama, ndavule u Kilisite pano alimuutu ghwa lukong'ano. Ghwe m'poki ghwa m'bili.
24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so let wives be to their husbands in everything.
Looli ndavule ulukong'ano vule lulipasi pa Kilisite, vulevule ava mama vanoghile kuvomba khu vaghosi vavanave mu agha ghoni
25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it,
Vaghosi, muvaghanaghe avadala viinu ndavule vule u Kilisite alyalughanile ulukong'ano kange akihumia jujuo vwimila umwene.
26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the bath of the water in the word;
Alyavombile anala ulwakuuti vave vimike. Alyalivalisie na kulisuka na malenga mu lisio.
27 that he himself might present to himself the church, glorious, having no spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Alyavombile n'diiki ulwakuuti pikufikisia jujuo mulukong'ano ulwimike, kisila lideeha pavalafu pe nambe kimonga kino kihwanine nisio pauluo lwimike ulusila n'koole.
28 In like manner husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his own wife loveth himself;
Musila jilajila, avaghosi vanoghile kukuvaghana avadala vavanave ndavule amavili ghavanave. Jula juno amughanile un'dala ghwa mwene ighanile mwene.
29 for no one ever yet hated his own flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as Christ doth the church;
Nakwale nambe jumo juno ikughukalalila um'bili ghwa mwene. Pa uluo, ikughunosia na kukughughana, ndavule u Kilisite kange vule alyalughanile ulukong'ano.
30 for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Ulwakuvasue tulivahangilanisi va m'bili gwa mwene.
31 “For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.”
“Vwimila ulu umughosi ikumuleka u Nhaata ghwa mwene nu mama ghwa mwene viiva palikimo nhu n'dala ghwa mwene kange avuo vavili viva m'bili ghumo”. ulu lwe lufisime.
32 This mystery is a great one; but I am speaking of Christ and of the church.
Looli nijova vwimila u Kilisite mulukong'ano.
33 However, do ye also severally love each one his own wife as himself; and let the wife see that she reverence her husband.
Pa uluo, umuunhu ghweni mulyumue anoghilebkukumughana un'dala ghwa mwene heene jujuo, nun'dala ghwa mwene anoghile amwoghopaghe umughosi ghwa mwene
