Ephesians 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints who are [[in Ephesus]], and believers in Christ Jesus:
Pablo, apóstol de Jesu Cristo por la voluntad de Dios, a los santos que están en Efeso, y fieles en Cristo Jesús:
2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Gracia a vosotros, y paz de Dios Padre nuestro, y del Señor Jesu Cristo.
3 Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly regions in Christ;
Bendito sea el Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo, el cual nos ha bendecido con toda bendición espiritual en bienes celestiales en Cristo.
4 according as he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him;
Según que nos escogió en él antes de la fundación del mundo, para que fuésemos santos, y sin mancha delante de él en amor.
5 having in love predestinated us for himself to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Habiéndonos predestinado para ser adoptados en hijos por medio de Jesu Cristo en sí mismo, conforme al buen querer de su voluntad.
6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved;
Para alabanza de la gloria de su gracia, por la cual nos ha hecho aceptos así en el amado.
7 in whom we have the redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
En el cual tenemos redención por su sangre, remisión de pecados por las riquezas de su gracia,
8 which he made to abound toward us, in all wisdom and understanding;
Que sobreabundó para con nosotros en toda sabiduría e inteligencia;
9 having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself
Habiéndonos descubierto el misterio de su voluntad, según su buen querer, que él se había propuesto en sí mismo,
10 in reference to the dispensation of the fullness of the times, to gather for himself into one all things in Christ, the things which are in the heavens, and the things on the earth; even in him,
Que en la dispensación del cumplimiento de los tiempos, juntaría en uno todas las cosas en Cristo, así las que están en los cielos, como las que están en la tierra; en él digo:
11 in whom we also obtained the inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will,
En el cual alcanzamos también herencia, siendo predestinados conforme al propósito de aquel que obra todas las cosas según el arbitrio de su voluntad;
12 that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who have before placed our hope in the Messiah;
Para que fuésemos para alabanza de su gloria nosotros, que antes esperamos en Cristo:
13 in whom ye also, after having heard the word of truth, the glad tidings of your salvation, in whom, I say, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit that was promised,
En el cual esperasteis también vosotros en oyendo la palabra de verdad, el evangelio de vuestra salud: en el cual también desde que creísteis, fuisteis sellados con el Espíritu Santo de la promesa,
14 which is a pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of his glory.
Que es las arras de nuestra herencia, hasta la redención de la posesión adquirida, para alabanza de su gloria.
15 For this cause I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and of your love to all the saints,
Por lo cual también yo, oyendo de vuestra fe que es en el Señor Jesús, y de vuestro amor para con todos los santos,
16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
No ceso de dar gracias por vosotros, haciendo memoria de vosotros en mis oraciones:
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of him;
Que el Dios de nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo, el Padre de gloria, os dé el espíritu de sabiduría y de revelación en el conocimiento de él:
18 the eyes of your mind being enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope belonging to his call of you, and what the riches of the glory of the inheritance which he hath given among the saints,
Iluminados los ojos de vuestro entendimiento, para que sepáis cual sea la esperanza de su vocación, y cuales las riquezas de la gloria de su herencia en los santos;
19 and what the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Y cual la grandeza sobreexcelente de su poder para con nosotros, los que creemos, por la operación de la potencia de su fortaleza,
20 which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead; and seated him at his own right hand in the heavenly regions,
La cual obró en Cristo, levantándole de entre los muertos, y colocándo le a su diestra en los cielos,
21 far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come; (aiōn g165)
Sobre todo principado, y potestad, y potencia, y señorío, y todo nombre que se nombra, no solo en este siglo, mas aun en el venidero; (aiōn g165)
22 and put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church,
Y sujetándole todas las cosas debajo de sus pies, y poniéndole por cabeza sobre todas las cosas para la iglesia,
23 which is his body, the fullness of him who filleth all with all;
La cual es su cuerpo, la plenitud de aquel, que lo llena todo en todo.
