1 The former narrative I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus both did and taught from the beginning
ཧེ ཐིཡཕིལ, ཡཱིཤུཿ སྭམནོནཱིཏཱན྄ པྲེརིཏཱན྄ པཝིཏྲེཎཱཏྨནཱ སམཱདིཤྱ ཡསྨིན྄ དིནེ སྭརྒམཱརོཧཏ྄ ཡཱཾ ཡཱཾ ཀྲིཡཱམཀརོཏ྄ ཡདྱད྄ ཨུཔཱདིཤཙྩ ཏཱནི སཪྻྭཱཎི པཱུཪྻྭཾ མཡཱ ལིཁིཏཱནི།
2 until the day in which, after he had through the Holy Spirit given commandments to the apostles whom he had chosen, he was taken up;
ས སྭནིདྷནདུཿཁབྷོགཱཏ྄ པརམ྄ ཨནེཀཔྲཏྱཡཀྵཔྲམཱཎཽཿ སྭཾ སཛཱིཝཾ དརྴཡིཏྭཱ
3 to whom also he showed himself living, after he had suffered, by many sure proofs, appearing to them during forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.
ཙཏྭཱརིཾཤདྡིནཱནི ཡཱཝཏ྄ ཏེབྷྱཿ པྲེརིཏེབྷྱོ དརྴནཾ དཏྟྭེཤྭརཱིཡརཱཛྱསྱ ཝརྞནམ ཨཀརོཏ྄།
4 And while in assembly with them, he commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for what had been promised by the Father, which [[said he]] ye heard from me;
ཨནནྟརཾ ཏེཥཱཾ སབྷཱཾ ཀྲྀཏྭཱ ཨིཏྱཱཛྙཱཔཡཏ྄, ཡཱུཡཾ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམོ྅ནྱཏྲ གམནམཀྲྀཏྭཱ ཡསྟིན྄ པིཏྲཱངྒཱིཀྲྀཏེ མམ ཝདནཱཏ྄ ཀཐཱ ཨཤྲྀཎུཏ ཏཏྤྲཱཔྟིམ྄ ཨཔེཀྵྱ ཏིཥྛཏ།
5 for John indeed baptized with water, but ye will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days hence.
ཡོཧན྄ ཛལེ མཛྫིཏཱཝཱན྄ ཀིནྟྭལྤདིནམདྷྱེ ཡཱུཡཾ པཝིཏྲ ཨཱཏྨནི མཛྫིཏཱ བྷཝིཥྱཐ།
6 They therefore, having come together, asked him, saying, Lord, art thou at this time about to restore the kingdom to Israel?
པཤྩཱཏ྄ ཏེ སཪྻྭེ མིལིཏྭཱ ཏམ྄ ཨཔྲྀཙྪན྄ ཧེ པྲབྷོ བྷཝཱན྄ ཀིམིདཱནཱིཾ པུནརཔི རཱཛྱམ྄ ཨིསྲཱཡེལཱིཡལོཀཱནཱཾ ཀརེཥུ སམརྤཡིཥྱཏི?
7 But he said to them, It belongeth not to you to know times or seasons, which the Father appointed by his own authority.
ཏཏཿ སོཝདཏ྄ ཡཱན྄ སཪྻྭཱན྄ ཀཱལཱན྄ སམཡཱཾཤྩ པིཏཱ སྭཝཤེ྅སྠཱཔཡཏ྄ ཏཱན྄ ཛྙཱཏྲྀཾ ཡུཥྨཱཀམ྄ ཨདྷིཀཱརོ ན ཛཱཡཏེ།
8 But ye will receive power when the Holy Spirit hath come upon you; and ye will be my witnesses, both in Jerusalem and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
ཀིནྟུ ཡུཥྨཱསུ པཝིཏྲསྱཱཏྨན ཨཱཝིརྦྷཱཝེ སཏི ཡཱུཡཾ ཤཀྟིཾ པྲཱཔྱ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམི སམསྟཡིཧཱུདཱཤོམིརོཎདེཤཡོཿ པྲྀཐིཝྱཱཿ སཱིམཱཾ ཡཱཝད྄ ཡཱཝནྟོ དེཤཱསྟེཥུ ཡཪྻྭེཥུ ཙ མཡི སཱཀྵྱཾ དཱསྱཐ།
9 And having thus spoken, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
ཨིཏི ཝཱཀྱམུཀྟྭཱ ས ཏེཥཱཾ སམཀྵཾ སྭརྒཾ ནཱིཏོ྅བྷཝཏ྄, ཏཏོ མེགྷམཱརུཧྱ ཏེཥཱཾ དྲྀཥྚེརགོཙརོ྅བྷཝཏ྄།
10 And while they were looking earnestly into heaven as he went up, lo! two men stood by them in white apparel,
ཡསྨིན྄ སམཡེ ཏེ ཝིཧཱཡསཾ པྲཏྱནནྱདྲྀཥྚྱཱ ཏསྱ ཏཱདྲྀཤམ྄ ཨཱུརྡྭྭགམནམ྄ ཨཔཤྱན྄ ཏསྨིནྣེཝ སམཡེ ཤུཀླཝསྟྲཽ དྭཽ ཛནཽ ཏེཥཱཾ སནྣིདྷཽ དཎྜཱཡམཱནཽ ཀཐིཏཝནྟཽ,
11 who said, Men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This Jesus, who hath been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same manner in which ye beheld him going into heaven.
ཧེ གཱལཱིལཱིཡལོཀཱ ཡཱུཡཾ ཀིམརྠཾ གགཎཾ པྲཏི ནིརཱིཀྵྱ དཎྜཱཡམཱནཱསྟིཥྛཐ? ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ སམཱིཔཱཏ྄ སྭརྒཾ ནཱིཏོ ཡོ ཡཱིཤུསྟཾ ཡཱུཡཾ ཡཐཱ སྭརྒམ྄ ཨཱརོཧནྟམ྄ ཨདརྴམ྄ ཏཐཱ ས པུནཤྩཱགམིཥྱཏི།
12 Then they returned to Jerusalem, from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, within a sabbath-day's journey.
ཏཏཿ པརཾ ཏེ ཛཻཏུནནཱམྣཿ པཪྻྭཏཱད྄ ཝིཤྲཱམཝཱརསྱ པཐཿ པརིམཱཎམ྄ ཨརྠཱཏ྄ པྲཱཡེཎཱརྡྡྷཀྲོཤཾ དུརསྠཾ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམྣགརཾ པརཱཝྲྀཏྱཱགཙྪན྄།
13 And when they had come in, they went up into the upper room where they were making their abode, namely, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the zealot, and Judas the brother of James.
ནགརཾ པྲཝིཤྱ པིཏརོ ཡཱཀཱུབ྄ ཡོཧན྄ ཨཱནྡྲིཡཿ ཕིལིཔཿ ཐོམཱ བརྠཛམཡོ མཐིརཱལྥཱིཡཔུཏྲོ ཡཱཀཱུབ྄ ཨུདྱོགཱ ཤིམོན྄ ཡཱཀཱུབོ བྷྲཱཏཱ ཡིཧཱུདཱ ཨེཏེ སཪྻྭེ ཡཏྲ སྠཱནེ པྲཝསནྟི ཏསྨིན྄ ཨུཔརིཏནཔྲཀོཥྛེ པྲཱཝིཤན྄།
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer, with women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.
པཤྩཱད྄ ཨིམེ ཀིཡཏྱཿ སྟྲིཡཤྩ ཡཱིཤོ རྨཱཏཱ མརིཡམ྄ ཏསྱ བྷྲཱཏརཤྩཻཏེ སཪྻྭ ཨེཀཙིཏྟཱིབྷཱུཏ སཏཏཾ ཝིནཡེན ཝིནཡེན པྲཱརྠཡནྟ།
15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the brethren, and said, (the number of the names together was about one hundred and twenty, )
ཏསྨིན྄ སམཡེ ཏཏྲ སྠཱནེ སཱཀལྱེན ཝིཾཤཏྱདྷིཀཤཏཾ ཤིཥྱཱ ཨཱསན྄། ཏཏཿ པིཏརསྟེཥཱཾ མདྷྱེ ཏིཥྛན྄ ཨུཀྟཝཱན྄
16 Brethren, it was necessary that this scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit through the mouth of David spoke before concerning Judas, who became guide to those who took Jesus.
ཧེ བྷྲཱཏྲྀགཎ ཡཱིཤུདྷཱརིཎཱཾ ལོཀཱནཱཾ པཐདརྴཀོ ཡོ ཡིཧཱུདཱསྟསྨིན྄ དཱཡཱུདཱ པཝིཏྲ ཨཱཏྨཱ ཡཱཾ ཀཐཱཾ ཀཐཡཱམཱས ཏསྱཱཿ པྲཏྱཀྵཱིབྷཝནསྱཱཝཤྱཀཏྭམ྄ ཨཱསཱིཏ྄།
17 For he was numbered among us, and obtained the allotment of this ministry.
ས ཛནོ྅སྨཱཀཾ མདྷྱཝརྟྟཱི སན྄ ཨསྱཱཿ སེཝཱཡཱ ཨཾཤམ྄ ཨལབྷཏ།
18 Now this man purchased a field with the wages of the iniquity; and falling headlong he burst asunder in the middle, and all his bowels gushed out.
ཏདནནྟརཾ ཀུཀརྨྨཎཱ ལབྡྷཾ ཡནྨཱུལྱཾ ཏེན ཀྵེཏྲམེཀཾ ཀྲཱིཏམ྄ ཨཔརཾ ཏསྨིན྄ ཨདྷོམུཁེ བྷྲྀམཽ པཏིཏེ སཏི ཏསྱོདརསྱ ཝིདཱིརྞཏྭཱཏ྄ སཪྻྭཱ ནཱཌྱོ ནིརགཙྪན྄།
19 And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that that field is called in their own tongue, Aceldamach, that is, Field of Blood.
ཨེཏཱཾ ཀཐཱཾ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམྣིཝཱསིནཿ སཪྻྭེ ལོཀཱ ཝིདཱནྟི; ཏེཥཱཾ ནིཛབྷཱཥཡཱ ཏཏྐྵེཏྲཉྩ ཧཀལྡཱམཱ, ཨརྠཱཏ྄ རཀྟཀྵེཏྲམིཏི ཝིཁྱཱཏམཱསྟེ།
20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, “Let his habitation be made desolate, and let no one dwell therein;” and, “Let another take his office.”
ཨནྱཙྩ, ནིཀེཏནཾ ཏདཱིཡནྟུ ཤུནྱམེཝ བྷཝིཥྱཏི། ཏསྱ དཱུཥྱེ ནིཝཱསཱརྠཾ ཀོཔི སྠཱསྱཏི ནཻཝ ཧི། ཨནྱ ཨེཝ ཛནསྟསྱ པདཾ སཾཔྲཱཔྶྱཏི དྷྲུཝཾ། ཨིཏྠཾ གཱིཏཔུསྟཀེ ལིཁིཏམཱསྟེ།
21 Of these men, therefore, who accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
ཨཏོ ཡོཧནོ མཛྫནམ྄ ཨཱརབྷྱཱསྨཱཀཾ སམཱིཔཱཏ྄ པྲབྷོ ཪྻཱིཤོཿ སྭརྒཱརོཧཎདིནཾ ཡཱཝཏ྄ སོསྨཱཀཾ མདྷྱེ ཡཱཝནྟི དིནཱནི ཡཱཔིཏཝཱན྄
22 from the baptism of John until the day when he was taken up from us, must one be made a witness with us of his resurrection.
ཏཱཝནྟི དིནཱནི ཡེ མཱནཝཱ ཨསྨཱབྷིཿ སཱརྡྡྷཾ ཏིཥྛནྟི ཏེཥཱམ྄ ཨེཀེན ཛནེནཱསྨཱབྷིཿ སཱརྡྡྷཾ ཡཱིཤོརུཏྠཱནེ སཱཀྵིཎཱ བྷཝིཏཝྱཾ།
23 And they proposed two, Joseph called Barsabbas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.
ཨཏོ ཡསྱ རཱུཌྷི ཪྻུཥྚོ ཡཾ བརྴབྦེཏྱུཀྟྭཱཧཱུཡནྟི ས ཡཱུཥཕ྄ མཏཐིཤྩ དྭཱཝེཏཽ པྲྀཐཀ྄ ཀྲྀཏྭཱ ཏ ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ སནྣིདྷཽ པྲཱཪྻྱ ཀཐིཏཝནྟཿ,
24 And they prayed saying, Thou, Lord, who knowest the hearts of all men, show which of these two thou hast chosen
ཧེ སཪྻྭཱནྟཪྻྱཱམིན྄ པརམེཤྭར, ཡིཧཱུདཱཿ སེཝནཔྲེརིཏཏྭཔདཙྱུཏཿ
25 to take the part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell away, that he might go to his own place.
སན྄ ནིཛསྠཱནམ྄ ཨགཙྪཏ྄, ཏཏྤདཾ ལབྡྷུམ྄ ཨེནཡོ རྫནཡོ རྨདྷྱེ བྷཝཏཱ ཀོ྅བྷིརུཙིཏསྟདསྨཱན྄ དརྴྱཏཱཾ།
26 And they cast lots for them; and the lot fell upon Matthias, and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
ཏཏོ གུཊིཀཱཔཱཊེ ཀྲྀཏེ མཏཐིརྣིརཙཱིཡཏ ཏསྨཱཏ྄ སོནྱེཥཱམ྄ ཨེཀཱདཤཱནཱཾ པྲརིཏཱནཱཾ མདྷྱེ གཎིཏོབྷཝཏ྄།
