Acts 1
1 The former narrative I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus both did and taught from the beginning
১হে থিয়ফিল, মই প্রথম প্রৱন্ধত আৰম্ভণীৰে পৰা যীচুক স্বর্গলৈ নিয়া দিনলৈকে তেওঁ যি যি কর্ম কৰিলে আৰু উপদেশ দিলে, সেই সকলোবোৰৰ বিষয়ে লিখিলোঁ।
2 until the day in which, after he had through the Holy Spirit given commandments to the apostles whom he had chosen, he was taken up;
২পাছত তেওঁক ওপৰলৈ তুলি নিয়া দিনলৈকে তেওঁ মনোনীত কৰা পাঁচনি সকলক পবিত্ৰ আত্মাৰ দ্বাৰাই আজ্ঞা দিলে৷
3 to whom also he showed himself living, after he had suffered, by many sure proofs, appearing to them during forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.
৩ক্রুচীয় মৃত্যুৰ দুখভোগৰ পাছত তেওঁ পাঁচনি সকলৰ আগত সময়ে সময়ে দেখা দি নিজকে জীয়াই থকাৰ প্রমাণ দিলে। এইদৰে যীচুৱে চল্লিশ দিনলৈকে দৰ্শন দি ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্যৰ কথা ঘোষণা কৰিলে।
4 And while in assembly with them, he commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for what had been promised by the Father, which [[said he]] ye heard from me;
৪এদিন পাঁচনি সকলৰ সৈতে সমবেত হোৱা সময়ত তেওঁ এই আজ্ঞা দিলে, “তোমালোকে যিৰূচালেম এৰি নাযাবা, কিন্তু মোৰ পৰা পিতৃৰ যি প্ৰতিজ্ঞা শুনিলা, সেই প্ৰতিজ্ঞালৈকে বাট চাই থাকা।
5 for John indeed baptized with water, but ye will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days hence.
৫যোহনে পানীতহে বাপ্তিস্ম দিলে, কিন্তু কিছুদিনৰ পাছত তোমালোকক পবিত্ৰ আত্মাত বাপ্তিস্ম দিয়া হব।”
6 They therefore, having come together, asked him, saying, Lord, art thou at this time about to restore the kingdom to Israel?
৬পুনৰ গোট খোৱা সময়ত তেওঁলোকে যীচুক সুধিলে, “হে প্ৰভু, ইস্ৰায়েলক আপুনি এই কালতে পুনৰাই ৰাজ্য দিব নে?”
7 But he said to them, It belongeth not to you to know times or seasons, which the Father appointed by his own authority.
৭তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকক তেওঁ ক’লে, “যি কাল আৰু সময় পিতৃয়ে নিজৰ ক্ষমতাৰ অধীনত ৰাখিছে, সেই বিষয়ে তোমালোকে জানিবলৈ নোপোৱা।
8 But ye will receive power when the Holy Spirit hath come upon you; and ye will be my witnesses, both in Jerusalem and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
৮কিন্তু যেতিয়া তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত পবিত্ৰ আত্মা আহিব, তেতিয়া তোমালোক আত্মাত শক্তিশালী হবা৷ তেতিয়া তোমালোকে যিৰূচালেম আদি কৰি গোটেই যিহুদীয়া, চমৰীয়া দেশত আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ সীমালৈকে মোৰ সাক্ষী হবা।”
9 And having thus spoken, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
৯এই কথা কোৱাৰ পাছত প্রভু যীচুক আকাশলৈ তুলি নিয়া হ’ল আৰু এচপৰা মেঘে তেওঁক ঢাকি ধৰিলে। তাতে তেওঁলোকে ওপৰলৈ ৰ’ লাগি চাই থাকিল, কিন্তু পুনৰবাৰ প্রভু যীচুক দেখা নাপালে।
10 And while they were looking earnestly into heaven as he went up, lo! two men stood by them in white apparel,
১০এইদৰে আকাশলৈ একেথৰে চাই থাকোতে, হঠাৎ বগা বস্ত্ৰ পৰিধান কৰা দুজন লোক তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰত থিয় হ’ল আৰু তেওঁলোকক কলে,
11 who said, Men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This Jesus, who hath been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same manner in which ye beheld him going into heaven.
১১“হে গালীল দেশৰ গালীলীয়া সকল, তোমালোকে কিয় আকাশলৈ ৰ’ লাগি চাই ৰৈছা? এই জন যীচুক তোমালোকৰ কাষৰ পৰা স্বৰ্গলৈ নিয়া হল। তোমালোকে তেওঁক যেনেকৈ স্বৰ্গলৈ যোৱা দেখিলা, সেইৰূপে তেওঁ আকৌ আহিব।”
12 Then they returned to Jerusalem, from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, within a sabbath-day's journey.
১২তাৰ পাছত পাঁচনি সকল জৈতুন নামৰ পাহাৰৰ পৰা যিৰূচালেমলৈ উভতি আহিল৷ এই পাহাৰ যিৰূচালেমৰ পৰা বিশ্ৰামবাৰে যোৱা বাটৰ সমান দূৰৈত অৱস্থিত
13 And when they had come in, they went up into the upper room where they were making their abode, namely, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the zealot, and Judas the brother of James.
১৩যেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে যিৰূচালেম নগৰ গৈ পালে, তাত তেওঁলোকে পিতৰ, যোহন, যাকোব, আন্দ্রিয়, ফিলিপ, থোমা, বাৰ্থলময়, মথি, আলফয়ৰ পুতেক যাকোব, উদ্যোগী চিমোন আৰু যাকোবৰ পুতেক যিহুদা থকা ঘৰৰ ওপৰৰ কোঠালিলৈ গ’ল।
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer, with women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.
১৪তাতে তেওঁলোকে কেইগৰাকীমান মহিলা, যীচুৰ মাক মৰিয়ম আৰু তেওঁৰ ভায়েক সকলৰ সৈতে সকলোৱে এক মনেৰে প্ৰাৰ্থনাত লাগি থাকিল।
15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the brethren, and said, (the number of the names together was about one hundred and twenty, )
১৫সেই সময়ছোৱাত প্রায় এশ বিশ জন লোক গোট খাই আছিল, তাতে পিতৰে উঠি ক’লে,
16 Brethren, it was necessary that this scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit through the mouth of David spoke before concerning Judas, who became guide to those who took Jesus.
১৬“হে ভাই সকল, ধৰ্মশাস্ত্ৰৰ বচন সিদ্ধ হ’বলৈ যীচুক বন্দী কৰাৰ প্ৰয়োজন আছিল; কিয়নো যীচুক বন্দী কৰা সকলক যিহূদাই বাট দেখুউৱাৰ বিষয়ে পবিত্ৰ আত্মাই দায়ুদৰ মুখেৰে পূৰ্বতে প্রকাশ কৰিছিল।
17 For he was numbered among us, and obtained the allotment of this ministry.
১৭তেওঁ আমাৰ মাজৰেই এজন আছিল আৰু এই পৰিচর্যা কার্যৰ ভাগো পাইছিল।
18 Now this man purchased a field with the wages of the iniquity; and falling headlong he burst asunder in the middle, and all his bowels gushed out.
১৮দুষ্কর্ম্ম কৰি পোৱা ধনেৰে তেওঁ এডোখৰ মাটি কিনিলে আৰু তাতে তলমূৰকৈ পৰি যিহূদাৰ পেট ফাটি নাড়ী ভুঁৰু সকলো ওলাল।
19 And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that that field is called in their own tongue, Aceldamach, that is, Field of Blood.
১৯এই কথা যিৰূচালেমত নিবাস কৰা আটাই মানুহৰ মাজত বিয়পি পৰিল আৰু সেয়েহে তেওঁলোকৰ ভাষাত সেই মাটিৰ নাম হকলদামা, অৰ্থাৎ তেজৰ মাটি হ’ল।”
20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, “Let his habitation be made desolate, and let no one dwell therein;” and, “Let another take his office.”
২০পিতৰে পুনৰ ক’লে, “কিয়নো গীতমালা পুস্তকত লিখা আছে, ‘তেওঁৰ থকা ঠাই নিৰ্জন হওক, ‘তাত কোনো মানুহ নাথাকক; আৰু আনে তেওঁৰ অধ্যক্ষ পদ পাওঁক।’
21 Of these men, therefore, who accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
২১গতিকে, প্রভু যীচুক যোহনে বাপ্তিস্ম দিয়া দিনৰে পৰা স্বৰ্গলৈ নিয়া দিনলৈকে যি সকল লোকে আমাৰ মাজত চলা-ফুৰা কৰিছিল,
22 from the baptism of John until the day when he was taken up from us, must one be made a witness with us of his resurrection.
২২সেই লোক সকলৰ মাজৰ বাপ্তিস্ম লোৱা এজন লোক নিশ্চয়কৈ আমাৰ সৈতে তেওঁৰ পুনৰুত্থানৰ সাক্ষী হোৱাৰ প্রয়োজন আছে।”
23 And they proposed two, Joseph called Barsabbas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.
২৩তেতিয়া লোক সকলে যোচেফ, যি জনক বার্চব্বা অথবা যুষ্ট নামেৰেও জনা যায় আৰু মত্তথিয়; এই দুয়োজনকে আগলৈ আনিলে।
24 And they prayed saying, Thou, Lord, who knowest the hearts of all men, show which of these two thou hast chosen
২৪পাছত তেওঁলোকে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰি ক’লে, “হে প্রভু, তুমি অন্তর্যামী, সকলোৰে হৃদয় জানা৷ সেয়েহে এই দুজনৰ মাজৰ পৰা এজনক মনোনীত কৰা;
25 to take the part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell away, that he might go to his own place.
২৫কিয়নো যিহূদাই পাপ কৰি নিজৰ যাবলগীয়া ঠাইলৈ গ’ল৷ সেই ঠাইত এই দুয়ো জনৰ মাজৰ কোন জনক তুমি এই পৰিচর্যা আৰু পাঁচনি পদ পাবলৈ মনোনীত কৰিছা, সেয়া প্রকাশ কৰা।”
26 And they cast lots for them; and the lot fell upon Matthias, and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
২৬পাছত তেওঁলোকে দুয়ো জনৰ কাৰণে চিঠি খেলোতে মত্তথিয়ৰ নাম উঠিল আৰু তেওঁ এঘাৰ জন পাঁচনিৰ লগত গণিত হ’ল।
