Acts 9
1 But Saul, yet breathing out threatening and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest,
शाऊल जो अब तक प्रभु को चेलां ख धमकान अऊर मार डालन की धुन म होतो, महायाजक को जवर गयो
2 and asked of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any who were of this way of belief, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
अऊर ओको सी दमिश्क को आराधनालयों को नाम पर या बात की चिट्ठियां मांगी कि का पुरुष का बाई, जिन्ख ऊ यो पंथ पर पाये उन्ख बान्ध क यरूशलेम ले आये।
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus; and suddenly there shone around a him a light from heaven;
पर चलतो चलतो जब ऊ दमिश्क को जवर पहुंच्यो, त अचानक आसमान सी ओको चारयी तरफ ज्योति चमकी,
4 and he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
अऊर ऊ जमीन पर गिर पड़्यो अऊर यो आवाज सुन्यो, “हे शाऊल, हे शाऊल, तय मोख कहाली सतावय हय?”
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And he answered, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
ओन पुच्छ्यो, “हे प्रभु, तय कौन आय?” ओन कह्यो, “मय यीशु आय, जेक तय सतावय हय
6 But arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
पर अब उठ क नगर म जाव, अऊर जो तोख करनो हय ऊ तोरो सी कह्यो जायेंन।”
7 And the men that journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing the voice, but seeing no one.
जो आदमी ओको संग होतो, हि सन्न रह्य गयो; कहालीकि आवाज त सुनत होतो पर कोयी ख देखत नहीं होतो।
8 And Saul arose from the earth; but when his eyes were opened, he saw nothing; and they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
तब शाऊल जमीन पर सी उठ्यो, पर जब आंखी खोली त ओख कुछ नहीं दिख्यो, अऊर हि ओको हाथ पकड़ क दमिश्क म ले गयो।
9 And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.
ऊ तीन दिन तक नहीं देख सक्यो, अऊर नहीं खायो अऊर नहीं पीयो।
10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias, and to him the Lord said in a vision, Ananias! And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
दमिश्क म हनन्याह नाम को एक चेला होतो, ओन दर्शन देख्यो कि प्रभु न ओको सी कह्यो, “हे हनन्याह!” “हव मय, प्रभु आय।”
11 And the Lord said to him, Arise, and go into the street called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus; for lo! he prayeth,
तब प्रभु न ओको सी कह्यो, “उठ क वा गली म जाव जो ‘सीधी’ कहलावय हय, अऊर यहूदा को घर म शाऊल नाम को एक तरसुस वासी ख पूछ; कहालीकि देख, ऊ प्रार्थना कर रह्यो हय,
12 and hath seen a man, named Ananias, coming in and putting his hand on him, that he might receive sight.
अऊर ओन हनन्याह नाम को एक पुरुष ख अन्दर आवतो अऊर अपनो ऊपर हाथ रखतो देख्यो हय; ताकि फिर सी देख पाये।”
13 But Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how great evils he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem.
हनन्याह न उत्तर दियो, “हे प्रभु, मय न यो आदमी को बारे म बहुत सो सी सुन्यो हय कि येन यरूशलेम म तोरो पवित्र लोगों को संग बड़ी-बड़ी बुरायी करी हंय;
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
अऊर इत भी येख महायाजक को तरफ सी अधिकार मिल्यो हय कि जो लोग तोरो नाम लेवय हंय, उन पूरो ख बान्ध लेवो।”
15 But the Lord said to him, Go; for this man is to me a chosen vessel, to bear my name before nations, and kings, and the sons of Israel.
पर प्रभु न ओको सी कह्यो, “तय चली जा; कहालीकि उत गैरयहूदियों अऊर राजावों अऊर इस्राएलियों को आगु मोरो नाम प्रगट करन लायी मोरो चुन्यो हुयो पात्र हय।
16 For I myself will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
अऊर मय ओख बताऊ कि मोरो नाम लायी ओख कसो कसो दु: ख उठावनो पड़ेंन।”
17 And Ananias went away, and entered the house; and putting his hands on him, he said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus who appeared to thee in the way thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayst receive sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
तब हनन्याह उठ क ऊ घर म गयो, अऊर ओको पर अपनो हाथ रख क कह्यो, “हे भाऊ शाऊल, प्रभु, यानेकि यीशु, जो ऊ रस्ता म, जित सी तय आयो तोख दिखायी दियो होतो, ओनच मोख भेज्यो हय कि तय फिर नजर पाये अऊर पवित्र आत्मा सी परिपूर्न होय जाये।”
18 And immediately there fell off from his eyes as it were scales; and he received sight, and arose, and was baptized.
अऊर तुरतच ओकी आंखी सी छिलका को जसो गिरयो अऊर ऊ देखन लग्यो, अऊर उठ क बपतिस्मा लियो।
19 And having taken some food he was strengthened. And he was some days with the disciples in Damascus.
फिर जेवन कर क् ताकत पायो। ऊ कुछ दिन उन चेलां को संग रह्यो जो दमिश्क म होतो।
20 And immediately he preached Jesus in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
अऊर ऊ तुरतच आराधनालयों म यीशु को प्रचार करन लग्यो कि ऊ परमेश्वर को बेटा हय।
21 And all that heard him were amazed, and said, Is not this he that destroyed in Jerusalem those who called on this name? And he hath come hither for this purpose, that he may bring them bound to the chief priests.
सब सुनन वालो चकित होय क कहन लग्यो, “का यो उच आदमी नोहोय जो यरूशलेम म उन्ख जो यो नाम ख लेत होतो, नाश करत होतो; अऊर इत भी येकोलायी आयो होतो कि उन्ख बान्ध क महायाजक को जवर लिजाये?”
22 But Saul gained still more strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.
पर शाऊल अऊर भी सामर्थी होत गयो, अऊर या बात को सबूत दे क कि मसीह योच आय, दमिश्क को रहन वालो यहूदियों को मुंह बन्द करतो रह्यो।
23 But after many days had passed, the Jews took counsel together to kill him;
जब बहुत दिन भय गयो, त यहूदियों न मिल क ओख मार डालन की साजीश रचा।
24 but their plot became known to Saul; and they were even watching the gates day and night to kill him.
पर उन्को साजीश शाऊल ख मालूम भय गयो। हि त ओख मार डालन लायी रात दिन द्वारों पर मारन की ताक म लग्यो रहत होतो।
25 But his disciples took him by night, and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.
पर रात को ओको चेलां न ओख टोकनी म बैठायो, अऊर दिवार पर सी उतार दियो।
26 And when he had come to Jerusalem, he attempted to join himself to the disciples; and they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
यरूशलेम म पहुंच क ओन चेलां को संग मिल जान को कोशिश करयो; पर सब ओको सी डरत होतो, कहालीकि उन्ख विश्वास नहीं होत होतो, कि ऊ भी चेला आय।
27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and related to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that he had spoken to him, and hew he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
पर बरनबास न ओख अपनो संग प्रेरितों को जवर लिजाय क उन्ख बतायो कि येन कसो तरह सी रस्ता म प्रभु ख देख्यो, अऊर ओन येको सी बाते करी; तब दमिश्क म येन कसो हिम्मत सी यीशु को नाम सी प्रचार करयो।
28 And he was with them going in and out at Jerusalem,
ऊ उन्को संग यरूशलेम म आतो-जातो रह्यो
29 speaking boldly in the name of the Lord. And he often spoke and disputed with the Hellenists; but they were endeavoring to slay him.
अऊर बेधड़क होय क प्रभु को नाम सी प्रचार करत होतो; अऊर यूनानी भाषा बोलन वालो यहूदियों को संग बातचीत अऊर वाद-विवाद करत होतो; पर हि ओख मार डालन की कोशिश करन लग्यो।
30 But the brethren obtaining knowledge of it, brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
यो जान क भाऊ ओख कैसरिया ले आयो, अऊर तरसुस ख भेज दियो।
31 The church therefore throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being built up, and walking in the fear of the Lord; and by the exhortation of the Holy Spirit it was greatly increased.
यो तरह पूरो यहूदिया, अऊर गलील, अऊर सामरियां म मण्डली ख सन्तुष्ट भयो, अऊर ओकी उन्नति होत गयी; अऊर ऊ प्रभु को डर अऊर पवित्र आत्मा की शान्ति म चलती अऊर बढ़ती गयी।
32 And it came to pass, that as Peter went through the whole country, he came down also to the saints who dwelt at Lydda.
तब असो भयो कि पतरस हर जागा फिरतो हुयो, उन पवित्र लोगों को जवर भी पहुंच्यो जो लुद्दा म रहत होतो।
33 And there he found a certain man named AEneas, who had lain on a bed eight years, and was palsied.
उत ओख एनियास नाम को एक लकवा को रोगी मिल्यो, जो आठ साल सी खटिया पर पड़्यो होतो।
34 And Peter said to him, AEneas, Jesus the Christ healeth thee; arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
पतरस न ओको सी कह्यो, “हे एनियास! यीशु मसीह तोख चंगो करय हय। उठ, अपनो बिस्तर बिछाव।” तब ऊ तुरतच उठ खड़ो भयो।
35 And all that dwelt in Lydda and Sharon saw him; and they turned to the Lord.
तब लुद्दा अऊर शारोन को सब रहन वालो ओख देख क प्रभु को तरफ फिरे।
36 Now at Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which name being interpreted is the same as Dorcas, that is, Gazelle. This woman was full of good works and alms-deeds which she did.
याफा म तबीता यानेकि दोरकास नाम को एक विश्वासिनी रहत होती। वा बहुत सो अच्छो अच्छो काम अऊर दान करत होती।
37 And it came to pass in those days, that she fell sick, and died; and when they had washed her, they laid her in an upper chamber.
उन दिन म वा बीमार होय क मर गयी; अऊर उन्न ओख नहलाय क ऊपर को कमरा म रख दियो।
38 And as Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, having heard that Peter was there, sent to him two men with the entreaty, Do not delay to come to us.
येकोलायी कि लुद्दा याफा को जवर होतो, चेलां न यो सुन क कि पतरस उत हय, दोय आदमी भेज क ओको सी बिनती करी, “हमरो जवर आवनो म देर मत कर।”
39 Then Peter arose, and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber; and all the widows came to him weeping, and showing the coats and cloaks which Dorcas made while she was with them.
तब पतरस उठ क उन्को संग भय गयो, अऊर जब ऊ पहुंच्यो त हि ओख वा ऊपर को कमरा म लिजायो। पूरी विधवा रोवती हुयी ओको जवर आय क खड़ी भयी, अऊर जो कुरता अऊर कपड़ा दोरकास न उन्को संग रहतो हुयो बनायो होतो, दिखान लगी।
40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down and prayed; and turning to the body he said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes; and seeing Peter, she sat up.
तब पतरस न सब क् बाहेर कर दियो, अऊर घुटना टेक क प्रार्थना करी अऊर लाश को तरफ देख क कह्यो, “हे तबीता, उठ।” तब ओन अपनी आंखी खोल दी; अऊर पतरस ख देख क उठ बैठी।
41 And he gave her his hand, and raised her up; and calling the saints and the widows, he presented her alive.
ओन हाथ दे क ओख उठायो, अऊर पवित्र लोगों अऊर विधवावों ख बुलाय क ओख जीन्दो दिखाय दियो।
42 And it became known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.
या बात पूरो याफा म फैल गयी; अऊर बहुत सो न प्रभु पर विश्वास करयो।
43 And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon, a tanner.
अऊर पतरस याफा म शिमोन नाम को कोयी चमड़ा को धन्दा करन वालो को इत बहुत दिन तक रह्यो।
