Acts 7
1 And the high-priest said, Are then these things so?
ตต: ปรํ มหายาชก: ปฺฤษฺฏวานฺ, เอษา กถำ กึ สตฺยา?
2 And he said, Brethren and fathers, hearken. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran,
ตต: ส ปฺรตฺยวทตฺ, เห ปิตโร เห ภฺราตร: สรฺเวฺว ลากา มนำสิ นิธทฺธฺวํฯ อสฺมากํ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษ อิพฺราหีมฺ หารณฺนคเร วาสกรณาตฺ ปูรฺวฺวํ ยทา อรามฺ-นหรยิมเทเศ อาสีตฺ ตทา เตโชมย อีศฺวโร ทรฺศนํ ทตฺวา
3 and said to him, “Go forth from thy country and thy kindred, and come into the land which I will show thee.”
ตมวทตฺ ตฺวํ สฺวเทศชฺญาติมิตฺราณิ ปริตฺยชฺย ยํ เทศมหํ ทรฺศยิษฺยามิ ตํ เทศํ วฺรชฯ
4 Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Haran; and from thence, after his father was dead, he caused him to remove into this land wherein ye now dwell;
อต: ส กสฺทียเทศํ วิหาย หารณฺนคเร นฺยวสตฺ, ตทนนฺตรํ ตสฺย ปิตริ มฺฤเต ยตฺร เทเศ ยูยํ นิวสถ ส เอนํ เทศมาคจฺฉตฺฯ
5 and he gave him no inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on; and he promised to give it to him for a possession, and to his posterity after him, when as yet he had no child.
กินฺตฺวีศฺวรสฺตไสฺม กมปฺยธิการมฺ อรฺถาทฺ เอกปทปริมิตำ ภูมิมปิ นาททาตฺ; ตทา ตสฺย โกปิ สนฺตาโน นาสีตฺ ตถาปิ สนฺตาไน: สารฺทฺธมฺ เอตสฺย เทศสฺยาธิการี ตฺวํ ภวิษฺยสีติ ตมฺปฺรตฺยงฺคีกฺฤตวานฺฯ
6 And God spoke in this manner: “That his posterity should sojourn in a foreign land, and that they would bring them into bondage, and ill-treat them four hundred years;
อีศฺวร อิตฺถมฺ อปรมปิ กถิตวานฺ ตว สนฺตานา: ปรเทเศ นิวตฺสฺยนฺติ ตตสฺตทฺเทศียโลกาศฺจตุ: ศตวตฺสรานฺ ยาวตฺ ตานฺ ทาสเตฺว สฺถาปยิตฺวา ตานฺ ปฺรติ กุวฺยวหารํ กริษฺยนฺติฯ
7 and the nation to which they shall be in bondage will I judge,” said God; “and after that they shall come forth, and shall worship me in this place.”
อปรมฺ อีศฺวร เอนำ กถามปิ กถิตวานฺ, เย โลกาสฺตานฺ ทาสเตฺว สฺถาปยิษฺยนฺติ ตาโลฺลกานฺ อหํ ทณฺฑยิษฺยามิ, ตต: ปรํ เต พหิรฺคตา: สนฺโต มามฺ อตฺร สฺถาเน เสวิษฺยนฺเตฯ
8 And he gave him the covenant of circumcision; and so he begat Isaac, and circumcised him on the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob, and Jacob the twelve patriarchs.
ปศฺจาตฺ ส ตไสฺม ตฺวกฺเฉทสฺย นิยมํ ทตฺตวานฺ, อต อิสฺหากนามฺนิ อิพฺราหีม เอกปุเตฺร ชาเต, อษฺฏมทิเน ตสฺย ตฺวกฺเฉทมฺ อกโรตฺฯ ตสฺย อิสฺหาก: ปุโตฺร ยากูพฺ, ตตสฺตสฺย ยากูโพ'สฺมากํ ทฺวาทศ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษา อชายนฺตฯ
9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt; and God was with him,
เต ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษา อีรฺษฺยยา ปริปูรฺณา มิสรเทศํ เปฺรษยิตุํ ยูษผํ วฺยกฺรีณนฺฯ
10 and delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favor and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt, and all his house.
กินฺตฺวีศฺวรสฺตสฺย สหาโย ภูตฺวา สรฺวฺวสฺยา ทุรฺคเต รกฺษิตฺวา ตไสฺม พุทฺธึ ทตฺตฺวา มิสรเทศสฺย ราชฺญ: ผิเราณ: ปฺริยปาตฺรํ กฺฤตวานฺ ตโต ราชา มิสรเทศสฺย สฺวียสรฺวฺวปริวารสฺย จ ศาสนปทํ ตไสฺม ทตฺตวานฺฯ
11 Now there came a famine over all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and great distress; and our fathers found no Sustenance.
ตสฺมินฺ สมเย มิสร-กินานเทศโย รฺทุรฺภิกฺษเหโตรติกฺลิษฺฏตฺวาตฺ น: ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษา ภกฺษฺยทฺรวฺยํ นาลภนฺตฯ
12 But Jacob, hearing that there was grain in Egypt, sent out our fathers first.
กินฺตุ มิสรเทเศ ศสฺยานิ สนฺติ, ยากูพฺ อิมำ วารฺตฺตำ ศฺรุตฺวา ปฺรถมมฺ อสฺมากํ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษานฺ มิสรํ เปฺรษิตวานฺฯ
13 And at the second time Joseph was recognized by his brothers, and the kindred of Joseph became known to Pharaoh.
ตโต ทฺวิตียวารคมเน ยูษผฺ สฺวภฺราตฺฤภิ: ปริจิโต'ภวตฺ; ยูษโผ ภฺราตร: ผิเราณฺ ราเชน ปริจิตา อภวนฺฯ
14 Then Joseph sent and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, seventy five souls.
อนนฺตรํ ยูษผฺ ภฺราตฺฤคณํ เปฺรษฺย นิชปิตรํ ยากูพํ นิชานฺ ปญฺจาธิกสปฺตติสํขฺยกานฺ ชฺญาติชนำศฺจ สมาหูตวานฺฯ
15 And Jacob went down [[into Egypt]], and died, he and our fathers.
ตสฺมาทฺ ยากูพฺ มิสรเทศํ คตฺวา สฺวยมฺ อสฺมากํ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษาศฺจ ตสฺมินฺ สฺถาเน'มฺริยนฺตฯ
16 And they were removed to Shechem, and laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Hamor, the father of Shechem.
ตตเสฺต ศิขิมํ นีตา ยตฺ ศฺมศานมฺ อิพฺราหีมฺ มุทฺราทตฺวา ศิขิม: ปิตุ รฺหโมร: ปุเตฺรภฺย: กฺรีตวานฺ ตตฺศฺมศาเน สฺถาปยาญฺจกฺริเรฯ
17 But as the time of the promise drew near, which God solemnly made to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,
ตต: ปรมฺ อีศฺวร อิพฺราหีม: สนฺนิเธา ศปถํ กฺฤตฺวา ยำ ปฺรติชฺญำ กฺฤตวานฺ ตสฺยา: ปฺรติชฺญายา: ผลนสมเย นิกเฏ สติ อิสฺราเยโลฺลกา สิมรเทเศ วรฺทฺธมานา พหุสํขฺยา อภวนฺฯ
18 until another king arose, who knew not Joseph.
เศเษ ยูษผํ โย น ปริจิโนติ ตาทฺฤศ เอโก นรปติรุปสฺถาย
19 The same dealt subtly with our race, and ill-treated our fathers, so that they should cast out their infants, that they might not be preserved alive.
อสฺมากํ ชฺญาติภิ: สารฺทฺธํ ธูรฺตฺตตำ วิธาย ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษานฺ ปฺรติ กุวฺยวหรณปูรฺวฺวกํ เตษำ วํศนาศนาย เตษำ นวชาตานฺ ศิศูนฺ พหิ รฺนิรกฺเษปยตฺฯ
20 In which time Moses was born, and was exceedingly fair; who was nourished in his father's house three months.
เอตสฺมินฺ สมเย มูสา ชชฺเญ, ส ตุ ปรมสุนฺทโร'ภวตฺ ตถา ปิตฺฤคฺฤเห มาสตฺรยปรฺยฺยนฺตํ ปาลิโต'ภวตฺฯ
21 And when he was cast out, Pharaoh's daughter took him up, and nourished him for herself as a son.
กินฺตุ ตสฺมินฺ พหิรฺนิกฺษิปฺเต สติ ผิเราณราชสฺย กนฺยา ตมฺ อุตฺโตลฺย นีตฺวา ทตฺตกปุตฺรํ กฺฤตฺวา ปาลิตวตีฯ
22 And Moses was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in his worlds and deeds.
ตสฺมาตฺ ส มูสา มิสรเทศียายา: สรฺวฺววิทฺยายา: ปารทฺฤษฺวา สนฺ วาเกฺย กฺริยายาญฺจ ศกฺติมานฺ อภวตฺฯ
23 And when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren, the sons of Israel.
ส สมฺปูรฺณจตฺวารึศทฺวตฺสรวยโสฺก ภูตฺวา อิสฺราเยลียวํศนิชภฺราตฺฤนฺ สากฺษาตฺ กรฺตุํ มตึ จเกฺรฯ
24 And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed by smiting the Egyptian.
เตษำ ชนเมกํ หึสิตํ ทฺฤษฺฏฺวา ตสฺย สปกฺษ: สนฺ หึสิตชนมฺ อุปกฺฤตฺย มิสรียชนํ ชฆานฯ
25 For he supposed his brethren would understand that God through his hand would give them salvation; but they understood not.
ตสฺย หเสฺตเนศฺวรสฺตานฺ อุทฺธริษฺยติ ตสฺย ภฺราตฺฤคณ อิติ ชฺญาสฺยติ ส อิตฺยนุมานํ จการ, กินฺตุ เต น พุพุธิเรฯ
26 And the next day he showed himself to them as they were contending, and urged them to peace, saying, Ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one another?
ตตฺปเร 'หนิ เตษามฺ อุภโย รฺชนโย รฺวากฺกลห อุปสฺถิเต สติ มูสา: สมีปํ คตฺวา ตโย เรฺมลนํ กรฺตฺตุํ มตึ กฺฤตฺวา กถยามาส, เห มหาศเยา ยุวำ ภฺราตเรา ปรสฺปรมฺ อนฺยายํ กุต: กุรุถ: ?
27 But he who was wronging his neighbor thrust him away, saying, “Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?
ตต: สมีปวาสินํ ปฺรติ โย ชโน'นฺยายํ จการ ส ตํ ทูรีกฺฤตฺย กถยามาส, อสฺมากมุปริ ศาสฺตฺฤตฺววิจารยิตฺฤตฺวปทโย: กสฺตฺวำ นิยุกฺตวานฺ?
28 Dost thou mean to kill me, as thou didst kill the Egyptian yesterday?”
โหฺย ยถา มิสรียํ หตวานฺ ตถา กึ มามปิ หนิษฺยสิ?
29 And Moses fled at this saying, and became a sojourner in the land of Midian, where he begat two sons.
ตทา มูสา เอตาทฺฤศีํ กถำ ศฺรุตฺวา ปลายนํ จเกฺร, ตโต มิทิยนเทศํ คตฺวา ปฺรวาสี สนฺ ตเสฺถา, ตตสฺตตฺร เทฺวา ปุเตฺรา ชชฺญาเตฯ
30 And when forty years were completed, there appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai an angel in the flaming fire of a bush.
อนนฺตรํ จตฺวารึศทฺวตฺสเรษุ คเตษุ สีนยปรฺวฺวตสฺย ปฺรานฺตเร ปฺรชฺวลิตสฺตมฺพสฺย วหฺนิศิขายำ ปรเมศฺวรทูตสฺตไสฺม ทรฺศนํ ทเทาฯ
31 And Moses seeing it wondered at the sight; and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came [[to him]],
มูสาสฺตสฺมินฺ ทรฺศเน วิสฺมยํ มตฺวา วิเศษํ ชฺญาตุํ นิกฏํ คจฺฉติ,
32 saying, “I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob.” And Moses trembled and durst not behold.
เอตสฺมินฺ สมเย, อหํ ตว ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษาณามฺ อีศฺวโร'รฺถาทฺ อิพฺราหีม อีศฺวร อิสฺหาก อีศฺวโร ยากูพ อีศฺวรศฺจ, มูสามุทฺทิศฺย ปรเมศฺวรไสฺยตาทฺฤศี วิหายสียา วาณี พภูว, ตต: ส กมฺปานฺวิต: สนฺ ปุน รฺนิรีกฺษิตุํ ปฺรคลฺโภ น พภูวฯ
33 And the Lord said to him, “Loose the sandals from thy feet; for the place where thou standest is holy ground.
ปรเมศฺวรสฺตํ ชคาท, ตว ปาทโย: ปาทุเก โมจย ยตฺร ติษฺฐสิ สา ปวิตฺรภูมิ: ฯ
34 I have surely seen the oppression of my people in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them; and now, come, I will send thee into Egypt.”
อหํ มิสรเทศสฺถานำ นิชโลกานำ ทุรฺทฺทศำ นิตานฺตมฺ อปศฺยํ, เตษำ กาตรฺโยฺยกฺติญฺจ ศฺรุตวานฺ ตสฺมาตฺ ตานฺ อุทฺธรฺตฺตุมฺ อวรุหฺยาคมมฺ; อิทานีมฺ อาคจฺฉ มิสรเทศํ ตฺวำ เปฺรษยามิฯ
35 This Moses, whom they denied, saying, “Who made thee a ruler and a judge?” this very man did God send both as a ruler and a redeemer with the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.
กสฺตฺวำ ศาสฺตฺฤตฺววิจารยิตฺฤตฺวปทโย รฺนิยุกฺตวานฺ, อิติ วากฺยมุกฺตฺวา ไต โรฺย มูสา อวชฺญาตสฺตเมว อีศฺวร: สฺตมฺพมเธฺย ทรฺศนทาตฺรา เตน ทูเตน ศาสฺตารํ มุกฺติทาตารญฺจ กฺฤตฺวา เปฺรษยามาสฯ
36 This very man brought them out, working wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness forty years.
ส จ มิสรเทเศ สูผฺนามฺนิ สมุเทฺร จ ปศฺจาตฺ จตฺวารึศทฺวตฺสรานฺ ยาวตฺ มหาปฺรานฺตเร นานาปฺรการาณฺยทฺภุตานิ กรฺมฺมาณิ ลกฺษณานิ จ ทรฺศยิตฺวา ตานฺ พหิ: กฺฤตฺวา สมานินายฯ
37 This is the Moses who said to the sons of Israel, “A prophet will God raise up to you from among your brethren, as he raised up me.”
ปฺรภุ: ปรเมศฺวโร ยุษฺมากํ ภฺราตฺฤคณสฺย มเธฺย มาทฺฤศมฺ เอกํ ภวิษฺยทฺวกฺตารมฺ อุตฺปาทยิษฺยติ ตสฺย กถายำ ยูยํ มโน นิธาสฺยถ, โย ชน อิสฺราเยล: สนฺตาเนภฺย เอนำ กถำ กถยามาส ส เอษ มูสา: ฯ
38 This is he that was in the assembly in the wilderness with the anger who spake to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers; who received the living oracles to give to us;
มหาปฺรานฺตรสฺถมณฺฑลีมเธฺย'ปิ ส เอว สีนยปรฺวฺวโตปริ เตน สารฺทฺธํ สํลาปิโน ทูตสฺย จาสฺมตฺปิตฺฤคณสฺย มธฺยสฺถ: สนฺ อสฺมภฺยํ ทาตวฺยนิ ชีวนทายกานิ วากฺยานิ เลเภฯ
39 to whom our fathers would not be obedient, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back into Egypt,
อสฺมากํ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษาสฺตมฺ อมานฺยํ กตฺวา เสฺวโภฺย ทูรีกฺฤตฺย มิสรเทศํ ปราวฺฤตฺย คนฺตุํ มโนภิรภิลษฺย หาโรณํ ชคทุ: ,
40 saying to Aaron, “Make us gods who shall go before us; for as for this Moses, who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.”
อสฺมากมฺ อเคฺร'เคฺร คนฺตุมฺ อสฺมทรฺถํ เทวคณํ นิรฺมฺมาหิ ยโต โย มูสา อสฺมานฺ มิสรเทศาทฺ พหิ: กฺฤตฺวานีตวานฺ ตสฺย กึ ชาตํ ตทสฺมาภิ รฺน ชฺญายเตฯ
41 And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice to the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.
ตสฺมินฺ สมเย เต โควตฺสากฺฤตึ ปฺรติมำ นิรฺมฺมาย ตามุทฺทิศฺย ไนเวทฺยมุตฺมฺฤชฺย สฺวหสฺตกฺฤตวสฺตุนา อานนฺทิตวนฺต: ฯ
42 But God turned away, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the Prophets, “Did ye offer to me slain beasts and sacrifices for forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
ตสฺมาทฺ อีศฺวรเสฺตษำ ปฺรติ วิมุข: สนฺ อากาศสฺถํ โชฺยติรฺคณํ ปูชยิตุํ เตโภฺย'นุมตึ ทเทา, ยาทฺฤศํ ภวิษฺยทฺวาทินำ คฺรนฺเถษุ ลิขิตมาเสฺต, ยถา, อิสฺราเยลียวํศา เร จตฺวารึศตฺสมานฺ ปุราฯ มหติ ปฺรานฺตเร สํสฺถา ยูยนฺตุ ยานิ จฯ พลิโหมาทิกรฺมฺมาณิ กฺฤตวนฺตสฺตุ ตานิ กึฯ มำ สมุทฺทิศฺย ยุษฺมาภิ: ปฺรกฺฤตานีติ ไนว จฯ
43 And ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of the god Rephan, the figures which ye made to worship them; and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.”
กินฺตุ โว โมลกาขฺยสฺย เทวสฺย ทูษฺยเมว จฯ ยุษฺมากํ ริมฺผนาขฺยายา เทวตายาศฺจ ตารกาฯ เอตโยรุภโย รฺมูรฺตี ยุษฺมาภิ: ปริปูชิเตฯ อโต ยุษฺมำสฺตุ พาเพล: ปารํ เนษฺยามิ นิศฺจิตํฯ
44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of the testimony in the wilderness, as he that spoke to Moses commanded that he should make it according to the pattern that he had seen;
อปรญฺจ ยนฺนิทรฺศนมฺ อปศฺยสฺตทนุสาเรณ ทูษฺยํ นิรฺมฺมาหิ ยสฺมินฺ อีศฺวโร มูสามฺ เอตทฺวากฺยํ พภาเษ ตตฺ ตสฺย นิรูปิตํ สากฺษฺยสฺวรูปํ ทูษฺยมฺ อสฺมากํ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุไษ: สห ปฺรานฺตเร ตเสฺถาฯ
45 which also our fathers received and brought in with Joshua, at their taking possession of the gentiles whom God drove out from before our fathers, until the days of David;
ปศฺจาตฺ ยิโหศูเยน สหิไตเสฺตษำ วํศชาไตรสฺมตฺปูรฺวฺวปุรุไษ: เสฺวษำ สมฺมุขาทฺ อีศฺวเรณ ทูรีกฺฤตานามฺ อนฺยเทศียานำ เทศาธิกฺฤติกาเล สมานีตํ ตทฺ ทูษฺยํ ทายูโทธิการํ ยาวตฺ ตตฺร สฺถาน อาสีตฺฯ
46 who found favor before God, and asked that he might find a habitation for the God of Jacob.
ส ทายูทฺ ปรเมศฺวรสฺยานุคฺรหํ ปฺราปฺย ยากูพฺ อีศฺวรารฺถมฺ เอกํ ทูษฺยํ นิรฺมฺมาตุํ ววาญฺฉ;
47 But Solomon built him a house.
กินฺตุ สุเลมานฺ ตทรฺถํ มนฺทิรมฺ เอกํ นิรฺมฺมิตวานฺฯ
48 Yet the Most High dwelleth not in [[temples]] made with hands; as saith the prophet,
ตถาปิ ย: สรฺโวฺวปริสฺถ: ส กสฺมึศฺจิทฺ หสฺตกฺฤเต มนฺทิเร นิวสตีติ นหิ, ภวิษฺยทฺวาที กถาเมตำ กถยติ, ยถา,
49 “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What house will ye build for me? saith the Lord; or what is the place of my rest?
ปเรโศ วทติ สฺวรฺโค ราชสึหาสนํ มมฯ มทียํ ปาทปีฐญฺจ ปฺฤถิวี ภวติ ธฺรุวํฯ ตรฺหิ ยูยํ กฺฤเต เม กึ ปฺรนิรฺมฺมาสฺยถ มนฺทิรํฯ วิศฺรามาย มทียํ วา สฺถานํ กึ วิทฺยเต ตฺวิหฯ
50 Did not my hands make all these things?”
สรฺวฺวาเณฺยตานิ วสฺตูนิ กึ เม หสฺตกฺฤตานิ น๚
51 Stiffnecked, and uncircumcised in heart and ears! ye do always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do ye.
เห อนาชฺญาคฺราหกา อนฺต: กรเณ ศฺรวเณ จาปวิตฺรโลกา: ยูยมฺ อนวรตํ ปวิตฺรสฺยาตฺมน: ปฺราติกูลฺยมฺ อาจรถ, ยุษฺมากํ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษา ยาทฺฤศา ยูยมปิ ตาทฺฤศา: ฯ
52 Which of the prophets did not your fathers persecute? And they slew those who foretold the coming of the righteous one, of whom ye have now become the betrayers and murderers;
ยุษฺมากํ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษา: กํ ภวิษฺยทฺวาทินํ นาตาฑยนฺ? เย ตสฺย ธารฺมฺมิกสฺย ชนสฺยาคมนกถำ กถิตวนฺตสฺตานฺ อฆฺนนฺ ยูยมฺ อธูนา วิศฺวาสฆาติโน ภูตฺวา ตํ ธารฺมฺมิกํ ชนมฺ อหตฯ
53 ye who received the Law as ordained through angels, and did not keep it.
ยูยํ สฺวรฺคียทูตคเณน วฺยวสฺถำ ปฺราปฺยาปิ ตำ นาจรถฯ
54 But when they heard these things, their hearts were filled with rage, and they gnashed their teeth at him.
อิมำ กถำ ศฺรุตฺวา เต มน: สุ พิทฺธา: สนฺตสฺตํ ปฺรติ ทนฺตฆรฺษณมฺ อกุรฺวฺวนฺฯ
55 But, being full of the Holy Spirit, he looked up earnestly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
กินฺตุ สฺติผาน: ปวิเตฺรณาตฺมนา ปูรฺโณ ภูตฺวา คคณํ ปฺรติ สฺถิรทฺฤษฺฏึ กฺฤตฺวา อีศฺวรสฺย ทกฺษิเณ ทณฺฑายมานํ ยีศุญฺจ วิโลกฺย กถิตวานฺ;
56 and said, Lo, I behold the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
ปศฺย, เมฆทฺวารํ มุกฺตมฺ อีศฺวรสฺย ทกฺษิเณ สฺถิตํ มานวสุตญฺจ ปศฺยามิฯ
57 And they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and rushed upon him with one accord;
ตทา เต โปฺรจฺไจ: ศพฺทํ กฺฤตฺวา กรฺเณษฺวงฺคุลี รฺนิธาย เอกจิตฺตีภูย ตมฺ อากฺรมนฺฯ
58 and having cast him out of the city, they stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul;
ปศฺจาตฺ ตํ นคราทฺ พหิ: กฺฤตฺวา ปฺรสฺตไรราฆฺนนฺ สากฺษิโณ ลากา: เศาลนามฺโน ยูนศฺจรณสนฺนิเธา นิชวสฺตฺราณิ สฺถาปิตวนฺต: ฯ
59 and they stoned Stephen, making supplication, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
อนนฺตรํ เห ปฺรโภ ยีเศ มทียมาตฺมานํ คฺฤหาณ สฺติผานเสฺยติ ปฺรารฺถนวากฺยวทนสมเย เต ตํ ปฺรสฺตไรราฆฺนนฺฯ
60 And kneeling down he cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And saying this, he fell asleep.
ตสฺมาตฺ ส ชานุนี ปาตยิตฺวา โปฺรจฺไจ: ศพฺทํ กฺฤตฺวา, เห ปฺรเภ ปาปเมตทฺ เอเตษุ มา สฺถาปย, อิตฺยุกฺตฺวา มหานิทฺรำ ปฺราปฺโนตฺฯ
