Acts 6

1 But in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a murmuring of the Hellenists against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

၁ထို ကာလ ၌ တပည့် တော်တို့သည် များပြား သည် ရှိသော်၊ နေ့ရက် အစဉ်အတိုင်းလုပ်ကျွေး သောအခါ ၊ ဟေလေနစ် အမျိုး မုတ်ဆိုးမ တို့ကို မ လုပ်မကျွေးဟု ထိုအမျိုးသားတို့သည် မြည်တမ်း ၍ ဟေဗြဲ လူတို့ကို အပြစ်တင် ကြ၏။

2 And the twelve called the multitude of the disciples to them, and said, It doth not seem to us proper, that we should leave the word of God, and provide for tables.

၂ထိုအခါ တကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးသော တမန်တော်တို့သည် တပည့် တော်အပေါင်း တို့ကို ခေါ် ပြီးလျှင်၊ ငါ တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တရားတော်ကိုထား ၍ စားပွဲ ၌လုပ်ကျွေးမှု ကိုမ ဆောင် သင့်။

3 Therefore, brethren, look out among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint over this business;

၃ထိုကြောင့် ညီအစ်ကို တို့၊ ဝိညာဉ် တော်နှင့် ၎င်း၊ ပညာ နှင့်၎င်းပြည့်စုံ လျက်၊ အသရေ ရှိသော လူ ခုနစ် ယောက်တို့ကို သင် တို့တွင် ရှာ ကြလော့။ ဤ အမှု ကို ဆောင်ရွက်စေခြင်းငှာထိုသူ တို့ကို ငါတို့သည် ခန့်ထား ကြမည်။

4 but we will give ourselves closely to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

၄ငါ တို့မူကား ၊ ဆုတောင်း ပဌနာပြုခြင်း၊ နှုတ်ကပတ် တရားတော် ကို ဟောပြော ခြင်းအမှုတို့ကို အမြဲပြု ၍ နေမည်ဟုဆို ကြ၏။

5 And what was said pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolaus a proselyte of Antioch,

၅ထို စကားကိုလူအစုအဝေး အပေါင်း တို့သည် နှစ်သက် ကြသဖြင့်၊ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းနှင့် ၎င်း၊ သန့်ရှင်း သော ဝိညာဉ် တော်နှင့်၎င်း ပြည့်စုံ သော သတေဖန် မှစ၍ ဖိလိပ္ပု ၊ ပြောခေါ် ၊ နိကနော် ၊ တိမုန် ၊ ပါမေန ၊ ယုဒဘာသာဝင် သော အန္တိအုတ် မြို့သားနိကောလ တို့ကို ရွေးကောက် ၍ ၊

6 whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

၆တမန်တော် တို့ရှေ့ ၌ ထား ကြ၏။ တမန်တော်တို့ သည်လည်း ဆုတောင်း ပြီးလျှင်ထိုသူ တို့၏ ခေါင်းပေါ်၌လက် ကို တင် ကြ၏။

7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples in Jerusalem was greatly enlarged; and a great multitude of the priests were obedient to the faith.

၇ဘုရားသခင် ၏ သာသနာ တော်သည် တိုးပွား သဖြင့်ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ တပည့် တော်တို့သည် အလွန် ပွားများ ၍၊ ယဇ် ပုရောဟိတ်အပေါင်း တို့သည် ယုံကြည် ခြင်း တရားကို နားထောင် ကြ၏။

8 And Stephen, full of grace and power, wrought great wonders and signs among the people.

၈သတေဖန် သည် ကျေးဇူး တော်နှင့် ၎င်း၊ တန်ခိုး တော်နှင့် ၎င်း ပြည့်စုံ သဖြင့်၊ ကြီးစွာ သောနိမိတ် လက္ခဏာ၊ အံ့ဘွယ် သောအမှုတို့ကို လူ များရှေ့ မှာပြု လေ၏။

9 But some of those who belonged to the so-called synagogue of the Freedmen, and of the Cyrenaeans and Alexandrians, and of those from Cilicia and Asia, arose and disputed with Stephen;

၉ထိုအခါလိဗေရတိန် အပေါင်းအသင်းဝင်သော သူမှစ၍ ၊ ကုရေနေ ပြည်သား၊ အာလေဇန်ဒြိ ပြည်သား၊ ကိလိကိ ပြည်သား၊ အာရှိ ပြည်သားအချို့ တို့သည် ထ ၍ သတေဖန် နှင့်ငြင်းခုံ ခြင်းကို ပြုစဉ်တွင်၊

10 and they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit with which he spoke.

၁၀သူဟောပြော ၍သုံးစွဲသောပညာ နှင့် ဝိညာဉ် တော် ကို မ ခံ မဆီးနိုင် ကြ။

11 Then they suborned men, who said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and God.

၁၁ထိုအခါ ဤသူ သည် မောရှေ ကို၎င်း ၊ ဘုရားသခင် ကို၎င်း လွန်ကျူး ၍ ပြော သည်ကို ငါတို့ကြား ရပါပြီဟု သက်သေခံ မည့်သူ တို့ကို တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာခေါ်၍ ထားကြပြီးလျှင်၊

12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and seized him, and brought him to the council,

၁၂လူ များကို၎င်း၊ အကြီးအကဲ ၊ ကျမ်းပြု ဆရာတို့ကို၎င်း နှိုးဆော် ၍ ၊ သတေဖန်ထံသို့လာ သဖြင့် ဘမ်းဆီး ၍ လွှတ်တော် သို့ ပို့ ကြ၏။

13 and set up false witnesses, who said, This man ceaseth not to speak words against the holy place, and the Law.

၁၃မမှန် သော သက်သေခံ တို့ကိုခေါ် ၍၊ ဤ သူ သည် သန့်ရှင်း သော အရပ် ဌာနတော်နှင့် ပညတ် တရားတော်ကို လွန်ကျူး၍ အစဉ်မပြတ် ပြောဆို လျက်နေပါ၏။

14 For we have heard him say, This Jesus the Nazarene will destroy this place, and change the customs which Moses delivered to us.

၁၄ထိုနာဇရက် မြို့သားယေရှု သည် ဤ အရပ် ဌာန တော်ကို ဖျက်ဆီး ၍၊ ငါ တို့အား မောရှေအပ်ပေး သော ထုံးနည်း ဥပဒေကို ပြောင်းလဲ စေမည်ဟု ဤသူ ဆို သည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကြား ရပါပြီဟုသက်သေခံ ကြ၏။

15 And all that sat in the council, looking steadily upon him, saw his face like the face of an angel.

၁၅လွှတ်တော် ၌ ထိုင် လျက်ရှိသောသူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် သတေဖန် ကိုစေ့စေ့ ကြည့်ရှုလျှင် ၊ သူ ၏မျက်နှာ သည် ကောင်းကင် တမန်၏မျက်နှာ ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်သည်ဟု ထင်မှတ် ကြ၏။
