< Acts 4 >

1 And while they were speaking to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came upon them,
Piela ayi Yowani bu baba yoluka kuidi batu, buna vatotuka banganga Nzambi, pfumu yi batu baba sunganga Nzo Nzambi ayi Basaduki;
2 being indignant that they taught the people, and proclaimed in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
bamona phiti mu ntima mu diambu di bamvuala balonga batu ayi zisamuna mfulukulu mu bafua mu nzila yi Yesu.
3 And they laid hands upon them, and put them in prison until the next day; for it was now evening.
Buna baba kanga. Vayi bu yiba thangu masika, baba tula mu nloko nate mu lumbu kilanda.
4 Many however of those who heard the word believed; and the number of the men became five thousand.
Vayi bawombo bawilukila mu batu bobo bawa malongi mawu. Thalu yi batu yibuelama nduka-nduka mili tanu.
5 And it came to pass on the next day, that their rulers and elders and scribes,
Muaki yiyiza ba ti mu lumbu kilanda, bapfumu ziawu, bakulutu bawu ba batu ayi minsoniki miawu mi mina bakutakana ku Yelusalemi.
6 and Annas the high-priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high-priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.
Kuna kuba Ana, Pfumu yi banganga Nzambi, Kayife, Yowani, Alasendele ayi bawombo bankaka baba mu nkuna wu pfumu yi banganga Nzambi.
7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, did ye do this?
Batula Piela ayi Yowani va ntualꞌawu, bosi baba yuvula: —Mu lulendo mbi voti mu dizina di nani luvangidi diambu diadi e?
8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, Rulers of the people, and elders of Israel!
Buna Piela, bu kaba wuwala mu Pheve Yinlongo, wuba vutudila: —A bapfumu zi batu; bakulutu ba Iseli!
9 If we are this day examined in respect to a good deed done to a cripple, by what means he hath been restored,
Enati lumbu kiaki tueka sambusu mu diambu di mavanga mamboti momo mavangimini kuidi mutu wubela ayi mu diambu di zaba buevi kabelukididi,
10 be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, —by him doth this man stand here before you sound.
buna bika luzaba beno boso ayi beno batu boso ba Iseli ti mu dizina di Yesu Klisto muisi Nazaleti. Yesu diodi beno lubanda va dikulusi, diodi Nzambi kafulukisa mu bafua. Mu dizina diodi mutu wawu kadidi va tualꞌeno vava ayi nitu yi buvini.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought by you the builders, which is become a cornerstone.
Bila niandi, ditadi dilozo kuidi beno mintungi, diyikidi ditadi di mfunu va fuma.
12 And there is salvation in no other; for there is not another name under heaven, that hath been given among men, by which we must be saved.
Phulusu luisi ko mu mutu wunkaka; bila va nza yimvimba kuisi ko dizina dinkaka divanu kuidi batu diodi tufueti vukila.
13 And when they beheld the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and common men, they wondered; and they recognized them as having been with Jesus.
Bu bamona bukhafi bu Piela ayi bu Yowani, ayi, bu babakula ti Piela ayi Yowani basia ba balonguka ko ayi badi batu baphamba; buna basimina buwombo. Bazaba ti bawu baba kibanga ayi Yesu.
14 And seeing the man that had been cured standing with them, they could say nothing in reply.
Bu bamona mutu wowo wubelusu wuba yawu vana, buna basia baka ko diambu di findisila ziphaka.
15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
Baba vana lutumunu lu totuka ku nganda yi lukutukunu lu minyadi. Buna bayuvasana bawu na bawu:
16 saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a remarkable sign hath been wrought by them is manifest to all that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
—A mambu mbi tufueti vangila batu baba e? Bila kuidi batu boso bankalanga mu Yelusalemi, didi dikiedika ti batu bobo bavengi kumu kinneni ayi tulendi ditunuka ko.
17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us strictly forbid them with threats to speak any longer in this name to any one.
Vayi muingi nsamu beni wubika luta tembakana muangana batu, bika tuba kandika muingi babika buela yolukila mu dizina diodi buba kuidi nani.
18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all, nor teach, in the name of Jesus.
Bosi bu baba tumisa, baba kandika babika buela yolukila voti buela longila mu dizina di Yesu.
19 But Peter and John answered and said to them, Whether it is right in the sight of God to hearken to you rather than to God, judge ye.
Vayi Piela ayi Yowani baba vutudila: —Zenganu beno veka: didi difuana va ntuala Nzambi mu kuluwila voti mu wila Nzambi e?
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we saw and heard.
Bila beto tulendi vonga ko yolukila mambu momo tumona ayi momo tuwa!
21 So, having further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, on account of the people; because all were glorifying God for that which had been done.
Bu babuela ku batitisa diaka, baba yekula bila basi mona ko buevi balenda kuba vanina thumbudulu. Bila batu boso bakembisa Nzambi mu diambu di kumu kioki kivangama.
22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this sign of the healing had been wrought.
Bila mutu wowo wuvangulu kumu kioki wuba viokila tezo makumaya ma mimvu.
23 And being released they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them.
Bu babayekula, Piela ayi Yowani bayenda bata bakundi bawu ayi baba kamba mambu moso mabakamba bapfumu zi zinganga Nzambi ayi bakulutu ba batu.
24 And on hearing it, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art he that made heaven and earth and sea, and all things that are in them;
Bu bawa mambu momo, va kimosi bawu boso batumbula mbembo mu sambila Nzambi: —Pfumu ngeyo wuvanga Diyilu ayi ntoto, mbu ayi bibioso bidi muna;
25 who by the mouth of thy servant David said, “Why did the heathen rage, and the peoples meditate vain things?
ngeyo wuyolukila mu Pheve Yinlongo mu munu wu nkulu eto Davidi, kisadi kiaku. A bila mbi makanda mafuemini e? Bila mbi batu balembo yindudila mambu makambulu fuana e?
26 The kings of the earth came up, and the rulers assembled together, against the Lord, and against his Anointed.”
Mintinu mi ntoto mitelama bapfumu zikutikini mu nuanisa Pfumu ayi Klisto andi.
27 For in truth against thy holy servant Jesus, whom thou didst anoint, did both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the gentiles, and the peoples of Israel, assemble in this city,
Bila mu divula diadi ntinu Elode ayi Ponse-Pilatu, Bapakanu ayi basi Iseli bawizini muingi banuanisa Yesu, kisadi kiaku kinlongo, kioki wubieka,

29 And now, Lord, look upon their threatenings, and grant to thy servants that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
Vayi buabu, Pfumu, tala bu balembo tutitisila ayi vana bisadi biaku bukhafi bu longila mambu maku.
30 while thou stretchest forth thy hand to heal, and signs and wonders are wrought through the name of thy holy servant Jesus.

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
Bu bamanisa sambila, buangu kioki ki bakutikinina kinikukaayi baboso bawala mu Pheve Yinlongo. Balonga mambu ma Nzambi mu bukhafi.
32 And the multitude of those who believed were of one heart, and of one soul; and not one of them said that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
Nkangu woso wu batu bobo bawilukila baba ntima wumosi ayi pheve yimosi. Kusia ba ko mutu wubanzila ti bima biandi biba mu diambu diandi veka; vayi bina bioso biba bi kithuadi.
33 And with great power did the apostles give their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus; and great grace was upon them all.
Mu lulendo lungolo, bamvuala batelimina mfulukulu yi Pfumu Yesu kimbangi ayi nlemvo wuwombo wumonika mu bawu boso.
34 For there was no one among them that was in want; for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
Kadi mutu wumosi mu bawu kasia ba wusukama ko. Bila batu boso baba zitsola voti zinzo bazisumbisa
