Acts 24
1 And after five days Ananias, the high-priest, came down with the elders and a certain orator named Tertullus; and they brought a complaint before the governor against Paul.
Baada jha magono mahanu, Anania kuhani mbaha, baadhi jha bhaseya ni n'jobhaji mmonga jhaakutibhweghe Tertulo, bhakalota pala. Bhanu abha bhaletili mashataka dhidi jha Paulo kwa Gavana.
2 And when he had been called, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy much peace, and that improvements are in every way and everywhere taking place in this nation through thy foresight,
Paulo bho ajhemili palongolo pa gavana, Tertulo akajhanda kun'takila ni kujobha kwa gavana, “kwandabha jha bhebhe tujhe ni imani nibaha; ni kwa maono ghe jhobhi ghileta mageuzi manofu mu taifa lya jhoto;
3 we accept it, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
Basi kwa shukurani jhioha twipokela shukurani jhioha khila khenu kya wibhomba, Wasalam mheshimibhwa Feliki.
4 But not to detain thee too long, I pray thee to hear us, in thy clemency, a few words.
Lakini nisikutondesi zaidi, nikusihi unipelekesiajhi malobhi madusu kwa fadhili jha jhobhi.
5 For we have found this man to be a pest, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes;

6 who also attempted to profane the temple, and we apprehended him;

8 and from him thou canst thyself ascertain by examination all these things of which we accuse him.
Lekan'kotayi Paulo kuhusu mambo agha, hata wibetakusimanyisya ni khenu gani tun'takili.”
9 And the Jews also joined in the charges against him, affirming that these things were so.
Bhayahudi ni bhene bhakan'takila Paulo, bhakajobha kujha mambo agha gha bhukweli.
10 Then Paul, after the governor had beckoned to him to speak, answered, Since I know that thou hast been for many years a judge for this nation, I answer for myself cheerfully;
Liwali bho ampungili kibhoko ili Paulo alongelayi, Paulo ajibili, “Nimanyili kujha kwa miaka mingi ujhe ghwa mwamuzi ghwa taifa ele, na nijhe ni furaha kwijhelesya nejhoni kwa bhebhe.
11 for it is in thy power to ascertain that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem to worship.
Wibhwesya kuhakikisya kujha ghapetilepi zaidi jha magono kumi na mbili tangia nikwelili kulota kuabudu Yerusalemu.
12 And neither in the temple did they find me disputing with any one, or stirring up a tumult of the people, nor in the synagogues, nor in the city;
Na bhobhanikolili mu hekalu, nabishenelepi ni munu jhejhioha, na nabhombi lepi fuju pa mkutano, wala ku masinagogi wala mugati mu mji;
13 nor can they prove the things of which they now accuse me.
na bhibhwesya lepi kuhakikisha kwa bhebhe mashitaka gha bhakanitakila dhidi jha nene.
14 But this I acknowledge to thee, that according to the way [[of belief]] which they call a sect, so do I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and by the Prophets;
Ila nikiri e'le kwa bhebhe, jha kujha kwa njela jhela ambayo bhakajhikuta dhehebu, kwa njela jhejhu ejhu nikantumikila K'yara ghwa dadi jhitu. Nene ne mwaminifu kwa ghoha mu sheria ni maandikhu gha manabii.
15 having a hope in God, which they themselves also entertain, that there will be a resurrection both of the righteous and the unrighteous.
Nijhe ni bhujasiri bholabhola kwa K'yara ambabho hata abhu nabhene bhakaulendela, kuhida kwa ufufuo kwa bhafu, kwa bhoha bhenye haki na bhabhabelikujha ni haki kabhele;
16 On this ground do I also myself strive to have always a conscience void of offence toward God and toward men.

17 And after some years I came to bring alms to my nation, and to make offerings;

18 in doing which they found me purified in the temple, not with a crowd nor with tumult; but certain Jews from Asia [[caused it]],
Bho nibhombi naha, Bhayahudi fulani bha Asia bhanikolili mugati mu sherehe jha utakaso mugati mu hekalu, bila likundi lya bhanu wala ghasia.
19 who ought to be here before thee, and make their charge, if they had aught against me.
Bhanu abha ambabho jhilondeka bhajhelayi mbele jha bhebhe henu apa na bhajobhayi khela kyabhajhenaku juu jha nene kama bhajhe ni lilobhi lyolyoha.
20 Or, let these men themselves say what wrongdoing they found in me when I stood before the council,
Au bhanu abha bhene na bhajobhayi likosa leleku lyabhalibhwene kwa nene bho nijhemili palongolo pa baraza lya kiyahudi;
21 except in relation to this one expression, which I uttered aloud while standing among them: Concerning the resurrection of the dead I am tried before you this day.
Isipokujha kwa ndabha jha khenu kimonga kyanakijobhili kwa sauti bho nijhemili katikati jha bhene, 'kwandabha jha ufufuo bhwa bhafu muenga mukanihukumu.”
22 But Felix, having an accurate knowledge of the matters relating to this way [[of belief]], put them off, and said, When Lysias the chief captain cometh down, I will thoroughly examine your case.
Feliki ajhele ataarifibhu kinofu kuhusu njela, ni kubhuairisha mkutano. Akajobha, “Lisia jemedari paibeta kuhida pasi kuhoma Yerusalemu nibetakubisya maamuzi dhidi jha mashitaka gha muenga.”
23 He also gave orders to the centurion to guard him, and let him have indulgence, and not to forbid any of his friends to do him service.
Ndipo akaamuru akida andendayi Paulo, ili ajhelayi ni nafasi na sijhi munu wakubhabesya bharafiki bha muene bhasin'tangatili wala kun'gendela.
24 And after some days, Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
Baada jha magono kadhaa, Feliki akakerebhuka ni Drusila n'dala munu jha ajhe Myahudi, akalaghisya kun'kuta Paulo ni kupelekesya kuhomela kwa muene habari sya imani mugati mwa Kristu Yesu.
25 And as he discoursed of righteousness, and temperance, and the judgment to come, Felix became alarmed, and answered, Go thy way for the present; and when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
Ila Paulo bho ajhele ijadiliana ni muene kuhusu haki kujha ni kiasi ni hukumu jhajhibeta kuhida, Feliki akakabha hofu akajibu, “lotayi patali kwa henu, ila nikakabhayi muda kabhele, nibetakukuta.”
26 He hoped also that money would be given him by Paul; on which account he sent for him the oftener, and conversed with him.
Muda bhobhuobhu, ategemili kujha Paulo ibeta kumpela hela kwa hiyo ankutili mara simehele kulongela naku.
27 But after two years Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus; and Felix, wishing to gain favor with the Jews, left Paul bound.
Ila miaka mibhele jhajhipetili, Porkio Festo akajha Liwali baada jha Feliki, ila Feliki alondeghe kwipendekesya kwa bhayahudi, efyo akandeka Paulo chini jha uangalizi.
