< Acts 2 >

1 And on the day of Pentecost they were all together in one place.
Likaishileje lyubha lya Shikukuu sha Mauno shishemwa Pentekoshite, bhaakulupalilanga bhowe bha a Yeshu bhashinkuimananga pamo.
2 And suddenly there came out of heaven a sound, as of a rushing mighty wind; and it filled the whole house where they were sitting;
Shangupe mpugo kukopoka kunani kunnungu, gwa mbuti shitutu shikugumbalaga nnyumba mubhalinginji mula.
3 and there appeared to them tongues as of fire, distributing themselves; and one sat upon each of them.
Kungai, gwikoposhele indu mbuti malamba ga moto, gakugabhanyikaga nikuntulila kila mundu.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, even as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Gubhagumbeywenjwe Mbumu jwa Ukonjelo, gubhatandwibhenje kubheleketa kwa luga inape malinga Mbumu shabhalongoyangaga kubheleketa.
5 Now there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven.
Ku Yelushalemu bhashinkupagwanga Bhayaudi, bhaakulupalilanga malajilo ga a Nnungu, kukoposhela mmbali yowe ya shilambolyo.
6 And when this sound took place, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because every one heard them speaking in his own language.
Bhandunji bhala bhakapilikananjeje gwene mpugogo gubhaloposhelenje. Bhowe gubhaimukenje pabha kila mundu ashinkwaapilikananga bhalibheleketanga kwa luga jakwe nnyene.
7 And they were amazed, and marveled, saying, Behold, are not all these who speak Galilaeans?
Gubhakanganigwenje na kuimonga bhalinkutinji, “Abha bhowe bhutukwaapilikananga bhalibhelekatanga nnei bha, nngabha bhashilambo bha ku Galilaya?
8 and how is it that we every one hear them in our own language, wherein we were born?
Igala itendile bhuli, pakuti tunakwaapilikananga bhalibheleketanga kwa luga yetu twaashaayene?
9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, and those who inhabit Mesopotamia, Judaea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
Tubhana tu Bhapati, na Bhamede, na Bhaelamia, na bhananji bhashilambo bha ku Meshopotamia, na ku Yudea, na ku Kapadokia, na ku Ponto, na ku Ashia.
10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and Romans who sojourn here, both Jews and Proselytes,
Ku Piligia, na ku Pampilia, na ku Mishili, na mmbali ja ku Libhiya tome na ku Kilene, ashaajetunji bhananji Bhaloma.
11 Cretans and Arabians—how is it that we hear them speaking in our tongues the wonderful works of God?
Bhaalabhu na bhandunji bhajinjilengene dini ja Shiyaudi, bhana bhakoposhelenje ku Kilete na ku Alabhia. Tubhowe tunaapilikana bhalibheleketanga kwa luga yetu indu ikulungwa ya a Nnungu.”
12 And they were all amazed and were in doubt, saying one to another, What can this mean?
Bhowe gubhakanganigwenje na tenguka akuno bhalibhuyananga, “Yenei malombololelo gakwe nndi?”
13 Others making sport of it, said, They are full of new wine.
Ikabheje bhananji gubhatendilenje mbenji bhalinkutinji, “Bhashikolelwanga!”
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said to them, Men of Judea, and all that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known to you, and hearken to my words.
Ikabheje a Petili gubhajimi pamo na likumi limo na jumo bhala, gubhatandwibhe kwaalugulilanga bhandunji kwa lilobhe lya utiya bhalinkuti, “Ashaapwanga, bha ku Yudea na mmowe nkutamangananga pa Yelushalemu pano, mpilikanishayanje ukoto malobhe gangu.
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose; for it is the third hour of the day;
Abha bhandunjibha bhangakolelwanga malinga shinkuganishiyanga, pabha nnaino shaa tatu ja lyamba.
16 but this is what was spoken through the prophet Joel,
Ikabheje genega ni gubhabhelekete ankulondola bha a Nnungu a Yoweli gala,
17 “It shall be in the last days, saith God, that I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams;
‘Shiibhe ku mobha ga kumpelo, a Nnungu bhakuti, ngupinga kwaagumbayanga bhandu bhowe Mbumu jwangu. Ashibhana bhenunji bhanabhalume na bhanabhakongwe shibhalondolanje, bhangwendo bhenunji shibhalanguywanje ilangulo, na bhanangulungwa bhenunji shibhaagamilanje.
18 and even on my servants, and on my handmaids, I will pour out of my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.
Elo, gene mobhago bhatumishi bhangu bhanabhalume na bhanabhakongwe, shinaagumbayanje Mbumu jwangu, nabhalabhonji shibhalondolanje.
19 And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;
Shindende ilapo kunani kunnungu, na ilangulo pa shilambolyo, shikubhe na minyai na moto na lyoi,
20 the sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the day of the Lord cometh, the great and notable day.
Lyubha shilitendebhushe nibha lubhindu, na mwei upinga shejela mbuti minyai, likanabhe ishila lyubha likulu lya ukonjelo lya Bhakulungwa.
21 And it shall be that every one that calleth on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Penepo, shaajuje kwa lina lya Bhakulungwa, shaatapulwe.’
22 Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus the Nazarene, a man approved of God to you by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God wrought by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves know, —
“Mmashilambo bha pa Ishilaeli, mpilikananje agano malobhe gano! A Yeshu Bhanashaleti bhashinkukong'ondelwa kunngwenunji kwa itendi ya ilapo, na ilangulo ibhatendaga a Nnungu kwa nkono gwabho, malinga shimmumanyinji.
23 this man, being delivered up by the settled purpose and foreknowledge of God, ye, by the hand of godless men, crucified and slew.
24 But God raised him up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that he should be held by it.
Ikabheje a Nnungu gubhaayushiye, gubhatapwilwe kumboteko ya shiwo pabha ikanatendeshe shiwo shaakamule.
25 For David saith concerning him, “I saw the Lord always before me; because he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.
Pabha a Daudi bhabhelekete ga ngani jabho kuti, ‘Naabhonaga Bhakulungwa mmujo jangu mobha gowe, pabha kubhali kunkono gwangu gwa nnilo, bhai ngatenganyika.
26 Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue exulted; moreover also, my flesh shall dwell in hope;
Kwa nneyo, ntima gwangu gwashinkwiinonyela, na kabhili nashinkululuta nkwiinonyela. Namwene shindame nngulupai,
27 because thou wilt not abandon my soul to the underworld, nor wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
Pabha nkaileka mbumu yangu ijende kundamo ja bhawilenje, wala nkanneka jwa Ukonjelo jwenu abhole. (Hadēs g86)
28 Thou didst make known to me the ways of life; thou wilt make me full of joy with thy countenance.”
Nshinangula mipanda ja gumi, bhai shiniinonyele pabha mpali.’
29 Brethren, I may speak to you with freedom of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is among us to this day.
“Ashaalongo ajangu, ngunapinga nimmalanjilanje gwangali nng'iyo gaapatile anakulubhetu a Daudi. Bhalabho bhawile na gubhashishilwe, na kabhili likabhuli lyabho launo pulili panngwetu pepano.
30 Being then a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn to him with an oath that he would set one sprung from his loins upon his throne,
Ikabheje, a Daudi pubhaliji ankulondola bha a Nnungu, bhamumanyi kuti a Nnungu bhaabhalanjile kwa lumbila kuti shibhannjimishe jumo nnubheleko lwabho kubha nkulungwa pandamo jabho.
31 he foresaw and spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that neither was he abandoned to the underworld, nor did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
A Daudi bhagabhweni gubhapinga tenda a Nnungu, kwa nneyo gubhabhelekete ga yuka kwa a Kilishitu bhalinkuti, ‘Bhangalekwa kundamo ja bhawilenje na wala maiti gabho gangabhola.’ (Hadēs g86)
32 This Jesus God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
A Nnungu bhashinkwayuya a Yeshu na uwe ni tubhakong'ondela bha genego.
33 Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit, he hath poured forth this, which ye both see and hear.
A Yeshu bhakakweyweje na bhikwa kunkono nnilo gwa a Nnungu, gubhapegwilwe Mbumu jwa Ukonjelo jubhalajile jula, na nnaino bhatugumbeye shene shinkushibhonanga na kushipilikana shino.
34 For David did not ascend into the heavens; but he himself saith, The Lord said to my lord, “Sit thou on my right hand,
Pabha a Daudi bhayene bhangakwela kwenda kunani kunnungu, nigubhashite nnei, ‘Bhakulungwa bhaalugulile Bhakulungwa bhangu, Ntame kunkono nnilo gwangu,
35 until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”
Mpaka pushinaabhikanje ashaamagongo ajenu pa libhatila makongono genu.’
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.
“Kwa nneyo, bhandu bhowe bha pa Ishilaeli bhanapinjikwanga bhamumanyanje kuti a Yeshu bhumwaakomelenje munshalabha bhala, a Nnungu bhashikwaatenda kubha Bhakulungwa na a Kilishitu.”
37 And when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what must we do?
Bhandu bhakapilinanjeje genego, guyapotekenje mmitima jabhonji, gubhaabhushiyenje a Petili na mitume bhananji bhala. “Ashaalongo ajetu, igala tutende bhuli?”
38 But Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized to the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins, and ye will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
A Petili gubhajangwile, “Kila mundu aipete na abhatishwe kwa lina lya a Yeshu Kilishitu, malombolelo gakwe mundu aagwilwe na a Nnungu, nkupinga nneshelelwanje ilebho yenunji na shimposhelanje upo Mbumu jwa Ukonjelo alajilwe jula.
39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all that are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Pabha malagano gala pugaaliji kwa ligongo lyenu mmanganya na ashibhana bhenu, na bhowe bhaatamangana kutalishe na kwa kila mundu shashemwe na Bhakulungwa a Nnungu bhetu.”
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this perverse generation.
Na kwa malobhe gana gamagwinji, a Petili bhakwaaleyangaga na kwaashondelesheyanga bhandunji bhalinkuti, “Mwiitapulanje na lubheleko lwangali lwambonelu.”
41 They therefore received his word, and were baptized; and there were added on that day about three thousand souls.
Bhabhagwinji gubhakulupalilenje malobhe gabho, nigubhabhatishwenje. Na lyene lyubhalyo bhandunji kuishila elupu tatu gubhajenjesheshenje nnikundi mula.
42 And they were constantly attending on the teaching of the apostles, and the imparting [[of their substance]], the breaking of bread, and the prayers.
Bhene bhowebho gubhapundilenje kujiganywa na mitume, akuno bhalitamangana shiulongo na lyanganga shalya pamo na juga Nnungu.
43 And fear came upon every soul; and many wonders and signs were wrought through the apostles.
Mitume bhashinkutendanga ilapo na ilangulo yaigwinji, mpaka kila mundu shijogopele.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
Bhaakulupalila bhowe gubhapundilenje kubha shindu shimo, akuno bhalikundikanilananga indu yabhonji.
45 and they sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as any one had need.
Bhatendaga ushanga indu yabhonji nigabhana ela kila mundu nipegwa malinga shiyapinjikwaga.
46 And attending daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread in a private house, they partook of their food with gladness and singleness of heart,
Gubhapundilenje kuimana kila lyubha Nliekalu. Bhatendaga imana mmajumba gabhonji nilyanganga shalya nyumba na nyumba kwa mitima ja kwiitimalika.
47 praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were in the way of salvation.
Bhatendaga kwaakuyanga a Nnungu na pingwanga na bhandu bhowe. Kila lyubha Bhakulungwa bhatendaga jenjesheya bhandu bhatapulwangaga.
