< Acts 13 >

1 Now there were at Antioch, in the church that was there, prophets and teachers; Barnabas, and Simeon who was called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenaean, and Manaen, the foster-brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
ᏧᎾᏁᎶᏗᏃ ᎥᏘᎣᎩ ᏧᎾᏓᏡᎬ ᎠᏁᎲᎩ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏳᎾᏍᏗ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᎠᎴ ᏗᎾᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏆᏂᏆ, ᎠᎴ ᏏᎻᏂ ᎾᎦ ᏧᏙᎢᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᎷᏏᏯ ᏌᎵᏂ ᎡᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎹᏁᏂ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏧᎳᎭ ᏧᎾᏛᏒᎯ ᎡᎶᏛ ᏅᎩ ᎢᎦᏚᎩ ᎨᏒ ᏍᎦᏚᎩ ᎠᏥᎦᏘᏗᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏐᎳ.
2 And while they were ministering to the Lord, and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.
ᎠᎾᏓᏙᎵᏍᏓᏁᎲᏃ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎹᏟ ᎠᏅᏍᎬᎢ, ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᏗᏍᎩᏯᏓᏓᎴᏓᏏ ᏆᏂᏆ ᎠᎴ ᏐᎳ ᏧᏂᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᏗᏱ ᎦᏥᏯᏑᏰᏒ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ.
3 Then, after they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎠᎹᏟ ᎤᏅᏅ ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏓᏙᎵᏍᏔᏅ ᎠᎴ ᏚᎾᏏᏔᏛ, ᏚᏂᏅᏎᎢ.
4 They therefore being sent forth by the Holy Spirit, came down to Seleucia, and from thence sailed to Cyprus.
ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎤᏂᏅᏒ, ᏏᎷᏏᏱ ᏭᏂᎶᏎᎢ, ᎾᎿᎭᏃ ᏫᎤᏁᏅ ᏥᏳᎯ ᏫᎤᎾᏣᏁ ᏌᏈ ᏫᎤᏂᎷᏤᎢ.
5 And having come to Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews; and they had also John as an assistant.
ᏌᎳᎻᏃ ᎠᏁᏙᎲᎢ ᎤᏂᏃᎮᎴ ᎠᏂᏧᏏ ᏧᏂᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᎠᎾᏘᏁᎮᏃ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏣᏂ ᎤᏂᏍᏕᎸᎯᏙᎯ.
6 And when they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they found a certain magian, a Jewish false prophet, whose name was Bar-jesus,
ᎤᏂᎶᏐᏅᏃ ᏂᎬᎾᏛ ᎠᎹᏰᎵ ᎨᏒᎢ ᎨᏆ ᎢᏴᏛ, ᎾᎿᎭᎤᏂᏩᏛᎮ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎠᏧᏏ ᏆᏥᏌ ᏧᏙᎢᏛ, ᎠᏙᏂᏍᎩ, ᎤᏠᎾᏍᏗ ᎠᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ,
7 who was with the proconsul of the country, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. He, having called for Barnabas and Saul, desired to hear the word of God.
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏁᏙᎮ ᎾᎿᎭᎦᏓ ᎠᎲ ᎠᏥᎦᏘᏗᏍᏗ ᏌᏥᏯ ᏉᎳ ᏧᏙᎢᏛ ᎠᎦᏔᎿᎭᎢ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏫᏚᏯᏅᎮ ᏆᏂᏆ ᎠᎴ ᏐᎳ ᎤᏔᏲᎴ ᎤᏛᎪᏗᏱ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ.
8 But Elymas the magian (for so is his name interpreted) withstood them, seeking so turn away the proconsul from the faith.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎡᎵᏑ ᎠᏙᏂᏍᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ ᏄᏍᏗ ᏕᎤᏙᎥ ᎠᏁᏢᏔᏅᎯ, ᎤᏂᎭᎷᎩᏍᎨᎢ, ᎤᏚᎵᏍᎨ ᎠᏥᎦᏘᏗᏍᏗ ᎤᎦᏔᎲᎡᏗᏱ ᎤᏬᎯᏳᏒᎢ.
9 But Saul (who is also called Paul), filled with the Holy Spirit, fixed his eyes on him
ᏐᎳᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏉᎳ ᏥᏚᏙᎥ, ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎤᎧᎵᏨᎯ ᎨᏎ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏯᏅᏒᎯ ᏚᎧᎿᎭᏁᎢ,
10 and said, O full of all deceit, and of all mischief, son of the Devil, enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᎦᎶᏄᎮᏛ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᎫᏥᏛ ᏣᎧᎵᏨᎯ, ᎠᏍᎩᎾ ᎤᏪᏥ, ᎭᏡᏗᏍᎩ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏚᏳᎪᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏝᏍᎪ ᏴᏘᏑᎵᎪᏥ ᎤᏣᏘᏂ ᏂᏕᎲᏁᎲ ᏚᏳᎪᏛ ᏅᏃᎯ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏧᏤᎵᎦ?
11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou wilt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and darkness; and going about he sought to find some who would lead him by the hand.
Ꭷ ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏣᏏᏔᏓ, ᎠᎴ ᏙᏘᎨᏩᏥ ᎥᏝ ᏱᎪᏩᏘᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏅᏙ ᎢᎸᏍᎩ ᎢᎪᎯᏛ. ᎩᎳᏉᏃ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎤᎵᏏᎩ ᎤᏭᏢᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎡᏙᎮ ᏚᏲᎮ ᎩᎶ ᎬᏬᏱᏂᏙᎯ.
12 Then the proconsul, when he saw what had taken place, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎠᏥᎦᏘᏗᏍᏗ ᎤᎪᎲ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅᎢ, ᎤᏬᎯᏳᏁᎢ, ᎠᏍᏆᏂᎪᏍᎨ ᏄᏍᏛ ᏓᎾᏕᏲᎲᏍᎬ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ.
13 And Paul and his company, having put to sea from Paphos, came to Perga in Pamphylia. But John, departing from them, returned to Jerusalem.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏉᎳ ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏁᎯ ᎨᏆ ᏫᎤᎾᏣᏅ ᏭᏂᎷᏤ ᏆᎩ ᎦᏚᎲ ᏆᎻᏈᎵᏱ. ᏣᏂᏃ ᎤᎾᏓᏓᎴᏓᏁᎸ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᏫᎤᎶᏎᎢ.
14 And they, going on from Perga, came to Antioch in Pisidia; and they went into the synagogue on the sabbath-day, and sat down.
ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏆᎩ ᏫᎤᎾᏂᎩᏒ ᏭᏂᎷᏤ ᎥᏘᎣᎩ ᎦᏚᎲ ᏆᏏᏗᏱ; ᎤᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬᏃ ᎢᎦ ᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᏭᏂᏴᎸ ᎤᎾᏅᏁᎢ.
15 And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, Brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, speak.
ᏚᏂᎪᎵᏰᎥᏃ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ, ᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᎨᏥᎦᏘᏗᏍᏗ ᎤᎾᏓᏅᏎ ᎯᎠ ᏫᏂᏚᏂᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᎢᏥᏍᎦᏯ ᎢᏓᏓᏅᏟ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᏗᎨᏥᏬᏁᏙᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏴᏫ, ᎢᏥᏁᎩ.
16 Then Paul stood up, and beckoned with his hand and said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, hearken.
ᏉᎳᏃ ᏚᎴᏅ, ᎤᏬᏰᏂᏃ ᎤᏖᎸᏅ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᎢᏥᏍᎦᏯ ᎢᏏᎵ ᏧᏪᏥ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎢᏥᎾᏰᏍᎩ, ᎢᏣᏛᏓᏍᏓ.
17 The God of this people chose our fathers, and he exalted the people in their sojourn in the land of Egypt, and with a high arm he brought them out of it;
ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎯᎠ ᏴᏫ ᎢᏏᎵ ᎤᎾᏤᎵᎦ ᏚᏑᏰᏎ ᏗᎩᎦᏴᎵᎨᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏌᎳᏓᏁ ᎯᎠ ᏴᏫ ᎠᏁᏙᎯᏉ ᏥᎨᏎ ᎢᏥᏈᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᎧᏃᎨᏂ ᎤᏌᎳᏛ ᎤᏩᏔᏁ ᎾᎿᎭᏙᏧᏄᎪᏫᏎᎢ.
18 and for about forty years he nourished them in the wilderness.
ᏅᎦᏍᎪᎯᏃ ᏧᏕᏘᏴᏛ ᎢᎪᎯᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᎩ ᎤᏪᎵᏎ ᏄᎾᏛᏁᎵᏙᎸ ᎢᎾᎨᎢ.
19 And having destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them their land as a possession.
ᏚᏒᏅᏃ ᎦᎵᏉᎩ ᎢᏳᎾᏓᎴᎩ ᏴᏫ ᎨᎾᏂ ᎠᏁᎯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎾᏤᎵ ᎦᏙᎯ ᏚᏯᏙᎮᎴ ᏓᎾᏎᏍᎬᎢ.
20 And after that, for about four hundred and fifty years, he gave judges, until Samuel the prophet.
ᎣᏂᏃ ᏚᏪᎧᏁᎴ ᏗᏄᎪᏗᏍᎩ ᏅᎩᏧᏈ ᎯᏍᎩᏍᎪᎯ ᏧᏕᏘᏴᏛ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎢᎪᎯᏛ, ᏌᎻ ᎠᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᏤᎮ ᎢᏯᏍᏘ.
21 And afterward they asked for a king; and God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years;
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎤᏂᏔᏲᎴ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ; ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏃ ᏚᏪᎧᏁᎴ ᏐᎳ ᎩᏌ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏇᏂ ᏧᏴᏫ, ᏅᎦᏍᎪᎯ ᏧᏕᏘᏴᏛ ᎢᎪᎯᏛ.
22 and having removed him, he raised up to them David to be their king, to whom he gave testimony, saying, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, who will do all my will.”
ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎤᏪᎧᎲᏒ, ᏚᎾᏄᎪᏫᏎᎴ ᏕᏫ ᎤᎾᏤᎵ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏧᏁᎢᏍᏔᏁ ᎯᎠ ᏥᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᏥᏩᏛᎲ ᏕᏫ ᏤᏏ ᎤᏪᏥ, ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏥᏰᎸᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏛᏛᏁᎵ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎦᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬᎢ.
23 From the seed of this man hath God, according to his promise, brought to Israel a Saviour, Jesus;
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏁᏢᏔᏅᏛ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎤᏚᎢᏍᏛᎢ ᏚᎾᏄᎪᏫᏎᎸ ᎢᏏᎵ ᎤᏂᏍᏕᎵᏍᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏌ;
24 before whose coming forward John had first preached a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
ᎠᏏᏉᏃ ᏂᎦᎷᎬᎾ ᏥᎨᏎᎢ, ᏣᏂ ᏧᎵᏥᏙᏁᎸᎯ ᎨᏎ ᎾᏂᎥ ᏴᏫ ᎢᏏᎵ, ᏧᏃᎮᎮᎸᎯ ᎨᏎ ᏗᏓᏬᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎦᏁᏟᏴᏍᏗ ᎣᏓᏅᏛ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ.
25 And as John was finishing his course, he said, Who do ye think that I am? I am not He. But lo I there cometh after me one, the sandal of whose feet I am not worthy to loose.
ᏣᏂᏃ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎠᎧᎵᎢᎮ ᏧᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᎦᎪ ᏍᎩᏰᎵᏎᎭ? ᎥᏝ ᎠᏴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏱᎩ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎣᏂ ᏓᏯᎢ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏚᎳᏑᎸ ᎥᏝ ᎠᏴ ᏰᎵ ᏗᎬᎩᎧᏁᏴᏗ ᏱᎩ.
26 Brethren, sons of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you was the word of this salvation sent forth.
ᎢᏥᏍᎦᏯ ᎢᏓᏓᏅᏟ, ᎡᏆᎭᎻ ᏅᏓᏳᏁᏢᏔᏅᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏣᏓᏑᏰᏍᏗ ᎡᏥᎾᏰᏍᎩ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ, ᏂᎯ ᎢᏣᏛᎪᏗ ᎡᏥᏰᎸᎾᏁᎸ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᎠᎵᏍᏕᎸᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎧᏃᎮᏍᎩ.
27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, not knowing him, nor the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath, fulfilled them in condemning him.
ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻᏰᏃ ᎠᏁᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᎾᏤᎵ ᎤᏂᎬᏫᏳᏌᏕᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎬᏩᎦᏔᎲᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎾᏂᎦᏔᎲᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎠᏂᏁᎬ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᏄᎾᏙᏓᏈᏒ ᏥᏓᏂᎪᎵᏰᎠ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏚᏃᎯᏳᏔᏅ ᏥᏚᏄᎪᏓᏁᎴᎢ.
28 And though they found nothing deserving death in him, they asked of Pilate that he should be slain.
ᏄᏂᏩᏛᎲᎾᏃ ᎨᏎ ᏰᎵ ᎬᏩᏲᎱᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏂᏔᏲᏎᎴ ᏆᎴᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏥᎢᏍᏗᏱ.
29 And when they had accomplished all that was written of him, they took him down from the cross, and laid him in a tomb.
ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏛᏃ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎪᏪᎸ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏥᏃᎮᏍᎬᎢ, ᎤᎾᏕᏎ ᎠᏓ ᎨᏛᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏤᎵᏍᏛ ᎤᏂᏅᏁᎢ.
30 But God raised him from the dead,
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏚᎴᏔᏁ ᎤᏲᎱᏒᎢ.
31 and he was seen for many days by those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses to the people.
ᎠᎴ ᎤᏬᎯᏤ ᎬᏩᎪᏩᏘᏍᎨ ᎨᎵᎵ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏓᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏛᏛ ᎢᏧᎳᎭ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᎤᏂᎷᏨᎯ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏤᎵ ᎬᏩᏃᎮᏍᎩ ᏴᏫ ᎠᏂᎦᏔᎲᎢ.
32 And we declare to you the glad tidings, that the promise which was made to the fathers
ᎠᏎᏃ ᏂᎯ ᎢᏨᏃᎮᎮᎭ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᎨᏥᏚᎢᏍᏓᏁᎴ ᏗᎩᎦᏴᎵᎨᎢ,
33 God hath fulfilled to us their children, in raising up Jesus [[from the dead]]; as it is also written in the first Psalm: “Thou art my Son; I have this day begotten thee.”
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯ ᏂᎬᏁᎸ ᎠᏴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏁᏥ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏌ ᏕᎤᎴᏔᏅᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎯᎠ ᏥᏂᎬᏅ ᏥᎪᏪᎳ ᏗᎧᏃᎩᏍᏗᏱ ᏔᎵᏁᎢ; “ᎠᏇᏥ ᏂᎯ, ᎪᎯ ᎢᎦ ᏍᏆᏕᏁᎸ.”
34 And that he raised him up from the dead, no more to return to corruption, he hath thus spoken: “I will give you the sure holy things promised to David.”
ᎾᏃ ᏕᎤᎴᏔᏅᎢ ᎤᏲᎱᏒᎢ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎤᎪᎯᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᎤᏪᏎᎢ; “ᏓᏨᏁᎵ ᎤᏲᎢᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᏕᏫ.”
35 Wherefore also in another Psalm he saith, “Thou wilt not suffer thy holy one to see corruption:”
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏪᎠ ᏅᏩᏓᎴ ᎪᏪᎸᎢ; “ᎾᏍᎦᏅᎾ ᏣᏤᎵ ᎥᏝ ᎤᏁᎳᎩ ᏭᎪᎯ ᎦᎯᏰᎵᏎᏗ ᏱᎩ.”
36 For David, after having in his own generation served the will of God, fell asleep, and was added to his fathers, and saw corruption;
ᏕᏫᏰᏃ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏚᏛᏁᎸ ᎾᎯᏳ ᎤᎾᏕᏅᎯ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᎢ, ᎤᎸᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᎦᏴᎵᎨ ᏓᏂᎾᎥ ᎠᏥᏅᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎪᏎᎢ.
37 but he whom God raised from the dead did not see corruption.
ᎾᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏧᎴᏔᏅᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎥᏝ ᏳᎪᏎᎢ.
38 Be it therefore known to you, brethren, that through this man is announced to you the forgiveness of sins;
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎢᏣᏅᏖᏍᏗ ᎢᏥᏍᎦᏯ ᏗᏓᏓᏅᏟ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ [ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ] ᎢᏳᏩᏂᏌᏛ ᎡᏥᏃᏁᎭ ᎦᏰᏥᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏥᏍᎦᏅᏨᎢ.
39 and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᎭ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎠᏃᎯᏳᎲᏍᎩ ᎠᎾᏚᏓᎴᎭ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏧᏓᎴᏅᏛ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎨᏣᏚᏓᎳᎡᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏥᎨᏒ ᎼᏏ ᎤᏤᎵ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᏕᏥᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ.
40 Beware therefore, lest that come upon you which is spoken in the Prophets,
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎢᏤᏯᏔᎮᏍᏗ ᏞᏍᏗ ᎢᏥᎷᏤᎸᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏥᎾᏂᏪ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ;
41 “Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish! for I work a work in your days, a work which ye will not believe, though one should plainly declare it to you.”
“ᏗᏣᎧᏅᎦ, ᎢᏥᏂᏆᏘᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᏥᏍᏆᏂᎪᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎢᏣᏗᏒᏅ; ᎠᏴᏰᏃ ᎪᎯ ᎢᏤᎲ ᏓᎩᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁ ᏗᎦᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎦᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᎥᏝ ᏴᎨᏦᎯᏳᎲᎦ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎠᏎ ᎩᎶ ᏱᏥᏁᎮᎮᎸ.”
42 And as they were going out, they besought that these words might be spoken to them on the next sabbath.
ᎠᏂᏧᏏᏃ ᎤᏂᏄᎪᏨ ᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ, ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏂᏔᏲᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᎨᏥᏃᎮᎮᏗᏱ ᏔᎵᏁ ᎤᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬᎢ.
43 And when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and proselyte worshippers followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, exhorted them to continue in the grace of God.
ᏓᏂᎳᏫᎥᏃ ᏚᏂᏰᎵᏒ ᎤᏂᏣᏖ ᎠᏂᏧᏏ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᎾᏓᏙᎵᏍᏓᏁᎯ ᎠᏂᏧᏏ ᏧᎾᎵᎪᏁᎸᎯ ᏚᏂᏍᏓᏩᏛᏎ ᏉᎳ ᎠᎴ ᏆᏂᏆ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏚᏂᏬᏁᏔᏁ ᏚᏂᏔᏲᏎᎴ ᏧᏂᏲᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
44 And on the next sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of the Lord.
ᏔᎵᏁᏃ ᏫᎤᎾᏙᏓᏋ ᎠᎴᏉ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎦᏚᎲ ᏂᏚᏂᏔᏫᏤ ᎤᎾᏛᏓᏍᏔᏂᎴ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ.
45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with indignation, and spoke against what was spoken by Paul, contradicting and reviling.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏂᏧᏏ, ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᏚᏂᎪᎲ, ᎤᏂᎧᎵᏤ ᎠᏛᏳᎨᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏬᏂᏍᎬ ᎠᎾᏡᏗᏍᎨ ᏉᎳ ᏂᎦᏪᏍᎬ ᎦᏬᏂᏍᎬᎢ, ᎤᏂᎪᏁᎶᏍᎨᎢ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏐᏢᎢᏍᏗᏍᎨᎢ.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas said boldly and plainly, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you; but seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of the everlasting life, lo! we turn to the gentiles. (aiōnios g166)
ᎾᏉᏃ ᏉᎳ ᎠᎴ ᏆᏂᏆ ᎧᏁᏉᎨ ᎾᏂᏍᎦᎢᎲᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ; ᏂᎯ ᎢᎬᏱ ᎠᏎ ᎡᏥᏃᎮᎮᏗ ᎨᏒᎩ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ; ᎠᏎᏃ ᎢᏢᏉ ᏥᏂᏨᏁᎭ ᎠᎴ ᎢᏨᏒ ᎢᏣᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬ ᏰᎵ ᎦᏰᏥᏁᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏥᏥᏰᎸ ᎬᏂᏛ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᏗᏁᎲ ᏬᏍᏓᎦᏔᎲᏍᏓ. (aiōnios g166)
47 For thus hath the Lord commanded us: “I have set thee to be a light of the gentiles, that thou mayst bring salvation even to the end of the earth.”
ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ ᏄᏍᏗ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎣᎩᏂᏁᏤᎸ, [ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏪᎭ; ] “ᎬᏯᎧᏅ ᎢᎦ ᏔᏘᏍᏓᏁᏗᏱ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ, ᎤᎵᏍᏕᎸᏙᏗ ᎢᏣᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᎡᎶᎯ ᏂᎬᎾᏛᎢ.”
48 And when the gentiles heard this, they rejoiced, and glorified the word of the Lord; and as many as were ordained to everlasting life, believed. (aiōnios g166)

49 And the word of the Lord was spread abroad throughout the whole country.
ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯᏃ ᎤᏤᎵ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᏚᏰᎵᏎ ᎾᎿᎭᏂᎬᎾᏛᎢ.
50 But the Jews stirred up the women of rank who worshipped God, and the chief men of the city, and raised a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them from their borders.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏂᏧᏏ ᏚᏂᏖᎸᏁ ᎨᏥᎸᏉᏗ ᎠᏂᎨᏴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᎾᏓᏙᎵᏍᏓᏁᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᎿᎭᎦᏚᎲ ᏗᎨᎦᏁᎶᏗ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᏯ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏅᏂᏌᏁ ᎦᎨᏥᏐᏢᏙᏗᏱ ᏉᎳ ᎠᎴ ᏆᏂᏆ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏂᎨᎯᏙᎴ ᎤᎾᏤᎵᎪᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ.
51 But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came to Iconium.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᏚᏂᏅᎪᎥᏓᏁᎴᏉ ᎪᏍᏚ ᏧᎾᎳᏏᏕᏂ ᎤᏓᏅᎵᏰᎥᎢ, ᎢᎪᏂᏯᏃ ᏭᏂᎷᏤᎢ.
52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
