< Acts 11 >
1 And the apostles and the brethren throughout Judaea heard that the gentiles also had received the word of God.

2 And when Peter went up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
Hahoi teh Piter ni Jerusalem kho a pha toteh vuensom ka a naw ni ahni teh a pathoe awh.
3 saying, Thou didst go in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

4 But Peter rehearsed the matter to them in order from the beginning, saying,
Hahoi teh Piter ni hote a konglamnaw kahawicalah buet touh hnukkhu buet touh a dei pouh.
5 I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision, a sort of vessel descending, as it were a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners, and it came even to me;

7 And I also heard a voice saying to me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
Hahoi lawk buet touh ka thai. Piter thaw nateh, thet haw, hahoi teh cat loe, na ti pouh.
8 But I said, Not so, Lord; for nothing common or unclean ever entered my mouth.

9 But a voice answered the second time out of heaven, That which God hath cleansed, call not thou common.

10 And this was done three times; and all were again drawn up into heaven.
