3 John 1
1 The elder to Gaius the beloved, whom I love in truth.
Презбитерул кэтре пряюбитул Гаюс, пе каре-л юбеск ын адевэр.
2 Beloved, in all things I pray that thou mayst prosper and be in health, as thy soul prospereth.
Пряюбитуле, дореск ка тоате лукруриле тале сэ-ць мяргэ бине ши сэнэтатя та сэ споряскэ тот аша кум спореште суфлетул тэу.
3 For I rejoiced greatly, when brethren came and bore witness to thy truth, as thou walkest in truth.
А фост о маре букурие пентру мине кынд ау венит фраций ши ау мэртурисит кэ ешть крединчос адевэрулуй ши кэ умбли ын адевэр.
4 I have no greater joy than this, to hear that my children walk in the truth.
Еу н-ам букурие май маре декыт сэ ауд деспре копиий мей кэ умблэ ын адевэр.
5 Beloved, thou doest a faithful thing whatever thou doest to the brethren, and that to strangers,
Пряюбитуле, ту лукрезь ку крединчошие ын тот че фачь пентру фраць ши пентру стрэинь тотодатэ.
6 who bore witness of thy love before the church; whom if thou send forward on their journey in a manner worthy of God, thou wilt do well.
Ей ау мэртурисит деспре драгостя та ынаинтя Бисеричий. Вей фаче бине сэ ынгрижешть де кэлэтория лор ынтр-ун кип вредник де Думнезеу,
7 For in behalf of the Name they went forth, taking nothing of the gentiles.
кэч ау плекат пентру драгостя Нумелуй Луй, фэрэ сэ примяскэ чева де ла нямурь.
8 We therefore ought to sustain such persons, that we may be fellow-workers for the truth.
Есте датория ноастрэ дар сэ примим бине пе астфел де оамень, ка сэ лукрэм ымпреунэ ку адевэрул.
9 I wrote something to the church; but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the pre-eminence among them, receiveth us not.
Ам скрис чева Бисеричий, дар Диотреф, кэруя ый плаче сэ айбэ ынтыетатя ынтре ей, ну вря сэ штие де ной.
10 Wherefore, if I come, I will bring to remembrance his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words; and not content therewith, he himself doth not receive the brethren, and those that would he forbiddeth, and casteth them out of the church.
Де ачея, кынд вой вени, ый вой адуче аминте де фаптеле пе каре ле фаче, кэч не клеветеште ку ворбе реле. Ну се мулцумеште ку атыт, дар нич ел ну примеште пе фраць ши ымпедикэ ши пе чей че воеск сэ-й примяскэ ши-й дэ афарэ дин Бисерикэ.
11 Beloved, do not imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God; he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
Пряюбитуле, ну урма рэул, чи бинеле. Чине фаче бинеле есте дин Думнезеу; чине фаче рэул н-а вэзут пе Думнезеу.
12 To Demetrius testimony hath been borne by all, and by the truth itself; yea, we also bear witness, and ye know that our witness is true.
Тоць, кяр ши Адевэрул, мэртурисеск бине деспре Димитрие; ши ной мэртурисим деспре ел: ши штий кэ мэртурисиря ноастрэ есте адевэратэ.
13 I had many things to write to thee, but I do not wish to write to thee with ink and pen;
Аш авя сэ-ць спун мулте лукрурь, дар ну воеск сэ ци ле скриу ку чернялэ ши кондей.
14 but I hope to see thee immediately, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. The friends salute thee. Salute the friends by name.
Нэдэждуеск сэ те вэд ын курынд ши атунч вом ворби гурэ кэтре гурэ. Пачя сэ фие ку тине. Приетений ыць тримит сэнэтате. Спуне сэнэтате приетенилор, фиекэруя пе нуме. Амин.
