2 Peter 3
1 This second letter, beloved, I now write to you, in both which I stir up your pure minds by putting you in remembrance;
১হে প্ৰিযতমাঃ, যূযং যথা পৱিত্ৰভৱিষ্যদ্ৱক্তৃভিঃ পূৰ্ৱ্ৱোক্তানি ৱাক্যানি ত্ৰাত্ৰা প্ৰভুনা প্ৰেৰিতানাম্ অস্মাকম্ আদেশঞ্চ সাৰথ তথা যুষ্মান্ স্মাৰযিৎৱা
2 that ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of the Lord and Saviour by your apostles;
২যুষ্মাকং সৰলভাৱং প্ৰবোধযিতুম্ অহং দ্ৱিতীযম্ ইদং পত্ৰং লিখামি|
3 knowing this first, that there will come in the last days open scoffers following their own lusts,
৩প্ৰথমং যুষ্মাভিৰিদং জ্ঞাযতাং যৎ শেষে কালে স্ৱেচ্ছাচাৰিণো নিন্দকা উপস্থায
4 and saying, Where is his promised coming? for, from the time when the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as then, and as they have continued from the beginning of the creation.
৪ৱদিষ্যন্তি প্ৰভোৰাগমনস্য প্ৰতিজ্ঞা কুত্ৰ? যতঃ পিতৃলোকানাং মহানিদ্ৰাগমনাৎ পৰং সৰ্ৱ্ৱাণি সৃষ্টেৰাৰম্ভকালে যথা তথৈৱাৱতিষ্ঠন্তে|
5 For of this they are willingly ignorant, that of old by the word of God there were heavens, and an earth formed out of the water and by the water,
৫পূৰ্ৱ্ৱম্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য ৱাক্যেনাকাশমণ্ডলং জলাদ্ উৎপন্না জলে সন্তিষ্ঠমানা চ পৃথিৱ্যৱিদ্যতৈতদ্ অনিচ্ছুকতাতস্তে ন জানান্তি,
6 by means of which the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished;
৬ততস্তাৎকালিকসংসাৰো জলেনাপ্লাৱিতো ৱিনাশং গতঃ|
7 but the present heavens and the present earth are by his word kept in store, reserved for fire against the day of judgment and the perdition of ungodly men.
৭কিন্ত্ৱধুনা ৱৰ্ত্তমানে আকাশভূমণ্ডলে তেনৈৱ ৱাক্যেন ৱহ্ন্যৰ্থং গুপ্তে ৱিচাৰদিনং দুষ্টমানৱানাং ৱিনাশঞ্চ যাৱদ্ ৰক্ষ্যতে|
8 But forget not, beloved, this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
৮হে প্ৰিযতমাঃ, যূযম্ এতদেকং ৱাক্যম্ অনৱগতা মা ভৱত যৎ প্ৰভোঃ সাক্ষাদ্ দিনমেকং ৱৰ্ষসহস্ৰৱদ্ ৱৰ্ষসহস্ৰঞ্চ দিনৈকৱৎ|
9 The Lord is not tardy concerning his promise, as some men count tardiness; but is long-suffering toward you, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
৯কেচিদ্ যথা ৱিলম্বং মন্যন্তে তথা প্ৰভুঃ স্ৱপ্ৰতিজ্ঞাযাং ৱিলম্বতে তন্নহি কিন্তু কোঽপি যন্ন ৱিনশ্যেৎ সৰ্ৱ্ৱং এৱ মনঃপৰাৱৰ্ত্তনং গচ্ছেযুৰিত্যভিলষন্ সো ঽস্মান্ প্ৰতি দীৰ্ঘসহিষ্ণুতাং ৱিদধাতি|
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein will be burned up.
১০কিন্তু ক্ষপাযাং চৌৰ ইৱ প্ৰভো ৰ্দিনম্ আগমিষ্যতি তস্মিন্ মহাশব্দেন গগনমণ্ডলং লোপ্স্যতে মূলৱস্তূনি চ তাপেন গলিষ্যন্তে পৃথিৱী তন্মধ্যস্থিতানি কৰ্ম্মাণি চ ধক্ষ্যন্তে|
11 Seeing that all these things are thus to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in holy conduct and godliness,
১১অতঃ সৰ্ৱ্ৱৈৰেতৈ ৰ্ৱিকাৰে গন্তৱ্যে সতি যস্মিন্ আকাশমণ্ডলং দাহেন ৱিকাৰিষ্যতে মূলৱস্তূনি চ তাপেন গলিষ্যন্তে
12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire will be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat!
১২তস্যেশ্ৱৰদিনস্যাগমনং প্ৰতীক্ষমাণৈৰাকাঙ্ক্ষমাণৈশ্চ যূষ্মাভি ৰ্ধৰ্ম্মাচাৰেশ্ৱৰভক্তিভ্যাং কীদৃশৈ ৰ্লোকৈ ৰ্ভৱিতৱ্যং?
13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
১৩তথাপি ৱযং তস্য প্ৰতিজ্ঞানুসাৰেণ ধৰ্ম্মস্য ৱাসস্থানং নূতনম্ আকাশমণ্ডলং নূতনং ভূমণ্ডলঞ্চ প্ৰতীক্ষামহে|
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for these things, be diligent that ye may be found without spot and blameless before him in peace,
১৪অতএৱ হে প্ৰিযতমাঃ, তানি প্ৰতীক্ষমাণা যূযং নিষ্কলঙ্কা অনিন্দিতাশ্চ ভূৎৱা যৎ শান্ত্যাশ্ৰিতাস্তিষ্ঠথৈতস্মিন্ যতধ্ৱং|
15 and account the long-suffering of our Lord salvation; as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you,
১৫অস্মাকং প্ৰভো ৰ্দীৰ্ঘসহিষ্ণুতাঞ্চ পৰিত্ৰাণজনিকাং মন্যধ্ৱং| অস্মাকং প্ৰিযভ্ৰাত্ৰে পৌলায যৎ জ্ঞানম্ অদাযি তদনুসাৰেণ সোঽপি পত্ৰে যুষ্মান্ প্ৰতি তদেৱালিখৎ|
16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things; in which things are some that are hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as also the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
১৬স্ৱকীযসৰ্ৱ্ৱপত্ৰেষু চৈতান্যধি প্ৰস্তুত্য তদেৱ গদতি| তেষু পত্ৰেষু কতিপযানি দুৰূহ্যাণি ৱাক্যানি ৱিদ্যন্তে যে চ লোকা অজ্ঞানাশ্চঞ্চলাশ্চ তে নিজৱিনাশাৰ্থম্ অন্যশাস্ত্ৰীযৱচনানীৱ তান্যপি ৱিকাৰযন্তি|
17 Do ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things beforehand, beware lest, being led away with the error of the lawless, ye fall from your own steadfastness.
১৭তস্মাদ্ হে প্ৰিযতমাঃ, যূযং পূৰ্ৱ্ৱং বুদ্ধ্ৱা সাৱধানাস্তিষ্ঠত, অধাৰ্ম্মিকাণাং ভ্ৰান্তিস্ৰোতসাপহৃতাঃ স্ৱকীযসুস্থিৰৎৱাৎ মা ভ্ৰশ্যত|
