< 2 Peter 1 >
1 Symeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of our God, and the Saviour Jesus Christ:
Siimon Pier, Jesu Kristo ŋuantieb yen u tuon sunl, ku din yab ga t mɔ ya dindal liel, kl tie t tienu mon kund yen t letua Jesu Kristo po.
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.
T tienu yen te yomdaano Jesu ŋal balg yen u yan duam nya ye yen i
3 Seeing that his Divine power hath given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness;
Nan u tien paalu ntenti yal bu piel g tod ti tin ya pia l mia yen t ŋand, lan na yua yinti n ten ti ya bam kl tie u yabdu yen u ŋanol po,
4 through which he hath given us exceedingly great and precious promises, that by these ye may become partakers of the Divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world through lust;
lan yul ceod ku puoni yal yab k gɔ ŋan ŋam k yoyen ti klan Piet lan tɔgn l kan yin mɔ ji ya naan yen u tien, nan yin san k ŋa t jɔgnd yal ye dul nan kdugn t nian biid po.
5 even for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, and to virtue knowledge,
Li ya po mono ced ki bu mond k tug i dindan l k taan yen t ŋand, i ya taan yen ti ŋand yin pugn n bam.
6 and to knowledge self-control, and to self-control endurance, and to endurance godliness,
i ya pugn n ban m yin ya tie bon kul k dagd, i ya tie g dagd yin pugn f juunl, i ya pugn l juunl yin pugn l paniigl, i ya pugn l paniigl yi pugn tŋaand
7 and to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
i ya pugn t ŋaand yin pugn n buam yen i lieb i ya pugn n buam yen i lieb i nugi m ya tien i leib po.
8 For if these things are in you and abound, they make you neither inactive nor unfruitful in gaining the full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
G dugn l kul ya yeyenti, boŋanli, l kanŋa t pam t yomdan Jesu banm n.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
Ama yua k pia l banm kul ne tie juam i, u k nɔ Pagm, u sund o tuon bikpela kul piinu u.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure; for if ye do these things, ye will never fall.
L ya po ced k maad n nidjab k i yin mond g ya se gal tie. Wan yini yen wan Lougol: nand, k dugn i ya se yeen, i kan ban k baa.
11 For in this way the entrance will be richly furnished you into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (aiōnios )
Lani k t bu kua t yomdaan Jiesu Kristo diem n. (aiōnios )
12 Wherefore I shall be careful always to remind you of these things, though ye know them, and are established in the truth that is with you.
L po ced kn bu mond Kŋam ktiedi l bona, yen yin den lban mono k yin gɔ ŋam kya se dinne i momonin.
13 Yea, I think it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by reminding you;
n la kl tie n po ninmonli min da pia imian ne min mond k find i k ŋam k ce gli.
14 knowing that I must soon put off my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ declared to me.
Nan tyom dano Jiesu Kristo n dan dogd k Waantnand yen, n ban kinkuum jikpag.
15 Moreover I shall endeavor that at all times ye may be able, after my departure, to call these things to mind.
Ama n mond k n kuum puolpo mono, yin ŋa tian lbona po.
16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but had been made eye-witnesses of his majesty.
T ktug kpelug lanya ka kpanjam ka k tundi yiesu paalu yen u guanm, ama t tudi nan tinm mono nlao yen t nimbinl yeni.
17 For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when such a voice as this was borne to him from the excellent glory: “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
u ga tba u tien kan t kpiagol yen t yabnd ya yogu k t Tienu bu maadyeno tapolpo k maad u ne tie n bibuadigi, n ta n buam kul tu g tien u ya poi.
18 And this voice we heard borne from heaven when we were with him in the holy mount.
k t den ye yeno l jualpo kt gbad u niel k l nan tapol po
19 And we have more sure the prophetic word, to which ye do well in taking heed, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts;
T gɔ ban k tin ŋam g cɔln n magnuam yal ne kl tie nan l fidle yal yien l bubonl na tie momoni ya ca yen lan pan Panel ku siŋagun. ŋma big n ji Pii ti paln.
20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture cometh from private interpretation.
Tn gɔ ŋam g ya ban k u tien magnuam ne g dabd t sogl Tuntuna,
21 For prophecy never came by the will of man; but moved by the Holy Spirit, men spoke from God.
K dugn l ktie nuPosaal yanbuam po ka knmagnuam bang nan, ama foŋam n ŋmagol b mub kb maad u Tien po.
