2 John 1
1 The elder to the elect Cyria, and to her children, whom I love in truth, and not I only, but also all that know the truth, —
Старець - вибраній панї і дїтям її, котрих я істино люблю (і не я тільки, а також усї, що пізнали правду),
задля правди, що пробував в нас, із нами буде по вік: (aiōn g165)
3 Grace, mercy, peace shall be with you from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
Нехай буде з вами благодать, милость, впокій від Бога Отця, і від Господа Ісуса Христа, Сина Отцївського, в правдї і любові.
4 I rejoiced greatly, that I found some of thy children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father.
Вельми я зрадував ся, що знайшов дїтей твоїх, ходячих в правдї, яко ж заповідь прийняли ми від Отця.
5 And now I beseech thee, Cyria, not as writing to thee a new commandment, but that which we have had from the beginning, that we love one another.
І тепер прошу тебе, панї, не яко нову заповідь пишу тобі, а котру мали ми від почину, щоб любили один одного.
6 And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, as ye have heard from the beginning, that ye should walk in it.
І се любов, щоб ми ходили по заповідям Його. Се заповідь, яко ж ви чули від почину, щоб у нїй ходили.
7 For many deceivers went out into the world, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ coming in the flesh; this is the deceiver and the antichrist.
Бо многі зводителї увійшли у сьвіт, котрі не визнають Ісуса Христа, що прийшов у тїлї; а такий зводитель і антихрист.
8 Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which ye wrought, but receive a full reward.
Глядїть на себе, щоб не згубити нам, що заробили, а щоб нагороду повну прийняли.
9 Whoever goeth beyond, and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the teaching, he hath both the Son and the Father.
Кожен, хто переступає, а не пробуває в науці Христовій, не має Бога; хто пробуває в науці Христовій, сей має і Отця і Сина.
10 If any one cometh to you, and bringeth not this teaching, receive him not into your house, and do not bid him good speed.
Коли хто приходить до вас, і сієї науки не приносить, не приймайте того у хату, і не витайте його;
11 For he that biddeth him good speed taketh part in his evil deeds.
хто бо його витає, бере участь в дїлах його лихих.
12 Having many things to write to you, I would not write with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you, and to speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
Маючи много вам писати, не схотів на папері і чорнилом, а надїюсь прийти до вас, і устами з вами говорити, щоб благодать ваша була повна.
13 The children of thy elect sister salute thee.
Витають тебе дїти сестри твоєї вибраної. Амінь.
