2 John 1
1 The elder to the elect Cyria, and to her children, whom I love in truth, and not I only, but also all that know the truth, —
प्राचीन की ओर से, चुनी हुई महिला और उसकी संतान को, जिनसे मुझे वास्तव में प्रेम है—न केवल मुझे परंतु उन सबको भी जिन्होंने सच को जान लिया है.
यह उस सच के लिए है, जिसका हमारे भीतर वास है तथा जो हमेशा हमारे साथ रहेगा. (aiōn g165)
3 Grace, mercy, peace shall be with you from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
परमेश्वर पिता और मसीह येशु की ओर से, जो पिता के पुत्र हैं, अनुग्रह, कृपा और शांति हमारे साथ सच तथा प्रेम में बनी रहेगी.
4 I rejoiced greatly, that I found some of thy children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father.
इसे देखना मेरे लिए बहुत ही खुशी का विषय है कि सच्चाई में तुम्हारी संतानों में अनेक चलते हैं. यह ठीक वैसा ही है जैसा हमारे लिए पिता की आज्ञा है.
5 And now I beseech thee, Cyria, not as writing to thee a new commandment, but that which we have had from the beginning, that we love one another.
हे स्त्री, मेरी तुमसे विनती है: हममें आपस में प्रेम हो. यह मैं तुम्हें किसी नई आज्ञा के रूप में नहीं लिख रहा हूं परंतु यह वही आज्ञा है, जो हमें प्रारंभ ही से दी गई है.
6 And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, as ye have heard from the beginning, that ye should walk in it.
प्रेम यही है कि हम उनकी आज्ञा के अनुसार स्वभाव करें. यह वही आज्ञा है, जो तुमने प्रारंभ से सुनी है, ज़रूरी है कि तुम उसका पालन करो.
7 For many deceivers went out into the world, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ coming in the flesh; this is the deceiver and the antichrist.
संसार में अनेक धूर्त निकल पड़े हैं, जो मसीह येशु के शरीर धारण करने को नकारते हैं. ऐसा व्यक्ति धूर्त है और मसीह विरोधी भी.
8 Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which ye wrought, but receive a full reward.
अपने प्रति सावधान रहो, कहीं तुम हमारी उपलब्धियों को खो न बैठो, परंतु तुम्हें सारे पुरस्कार प्राप्त हों.
9 Whoever goeth beyond, and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the teaching, he hath both the Son and the Father.
हर एक, जो भटक कर दूर निकल जाता है और मसीह की शिक्षा में स्थिर नहीं रहता, उसमें परमेश्वर नहीं; तथा जो शिक्षा में स्थिर रहता है, उसने पिता तथा पुत्र दोनों ही को प्राप्त कर लिया है.
10 If any one cometh to you, and bringeth not this teaching, receive him not into your house, and do not bid him good speed.
यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर यह शिक्षा नहीं देता, तुम न तो उसका अतिथि-सत्कार करो, न ही उसको नमस्कार करो;
11 For he that biddeth him good speed taketh part in his evil deeds.
क्योंकि जो उसको नमस्कार करता है, वह उसकी बुराई में भागीदार हो जाता है.
12 Having many things to write to you, I would not write with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you, and to speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
हालांकि लिखने योग्य अनेक विषय हैं किंतु मैं स्याही व लेखन-पत्रक इस्तेमाल नहीं करना चाहता; परंतु मेरी आशा है कि मैं तुम्हारे पास आऊंगा तथा आमने-सामने तुमसे बातचीत करूंगा कि हमारा आनंद पूरा हो जाए.
13 The children of thy elect sister salute thee.
तुम्हारी चुनी हुई बहन की संतान तुम्हें नमस्कार करती है.
