< 2 Corinthians 1 >
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy the brother, to the church of God which is in Corinth, with all the holy who are in all Achaia:
Ma sel Paul, sie mwet sap lun Christ Jesus ke lungse lun God, ac oayapa Timothy, mwet wiasr in lulalfongi — Nu sin church lun God in acn Corinth, ac nu sin mwet lun God nukewa apunla acn Achaia:
2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Fathers and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Lungkulang ac misla nu suwos sin God Papa tumasr ac Leum Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

4 who comforteth us in all our distress, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any distress by the comfort wherewith we are ourselves comforted by God;
El kasrekut in mwe lokoalok nukewa lasr, tuh kut in ku in kasru mwet ngia ke kutena mwe lokoalok ma oasr yorolos, ke ouiyen kasru se pacna ma God El kasrekut kac.
5 for as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so through Christ doth our comfort also overflow.
In oana ke kut wi ipeis ke mwe keok puspis lun Christ, ouinge in Christ kut oayapa ipeis ke kasru lulap lun God.
6 And whether we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation, which showeth its power in enabling you to bear patiently the same sufferings which we also endure; and our hope is steadfast in your behalf; or whether we are comforted, it is for your comfort and salvation,
Kut fin keok, ma inge mwe kasru ac mwe molela nu suwos; fin kasreyuk kut, na kasreyuk pac kowos, ac ac fah itukot pac ku nu suwos tuh kowos in ku in mongfisrasr in mutangla mwe keok pacna ma kut mutangla.
7 knowing that as ye are sharers in the sufferings, so also ye will be sharers in the comfort.
Ke ma inge finsrak lasr in kowos arulana ku, ac kut etu lah ke kowos wi ipeis ke keok lasr, kowos oayapa ipeis ke mwe kasru nu sesr.
8 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our distress which came upon us in Asia, that it was exceedingly heavy upon us beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life;
Mwet lili ac lulu, kut kena akesmakye kowos ke ma upa su kut tuh pulakin in acn Asia. Ma toasr su filiyuki facsr arulana yohk ac toasrlana, oru kut fuhleak finsrak nukewa lasr mu kut ac moul.
9 yea, we ourselves had within ourselves the sentence of death, that we might not trust in ourselves, but in God who raiseth the dead;
Kut nunku mu kut ac misa. Tusruktu ma inge sikyak tuh kut in tia lulalfongi kacsr sifacna, a kut in lulalfongi God mukena, su akmoulyauk mwet misa.
10 who delivered us from such peril of death, and is delivering; in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us,

11 you also unitedly helping us by prayer, so that for this blessing bestowed on us by means of many, thanks may be given by many on your behalf.
oana ke kowos oayapa kasrekut ke pre lowos. Ouinge pre puspis lun mwet uh kacsr ac fah topukyuk, ac God El fah akinsewowoye kut, ac mwet puspis fah sang kulo nu sin God kacsr.
12 For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and the sincerity which is of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.
Kut sifacna konkin lah ma kut pulakin insiasr uh akkalemye lah ouiyen moul lasr fin faclu pwayena ac suwohs ye mutun God, ac yokna ke kut tuh muta inmasrlowos, ke sripen ku lun kulang lun God, ac tia ke lalmwetmet lun mwet.
13 For we write no other things to you, than what ye read or even acknowledge. And I trust ye will acknowledge even to the end,
Tuh kut sim nu suwos ke ma na kowos ku in riti ac kalem kac. Nga finsrak kowos in arulana kalem kac,
14 as also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your glorying, as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
kowos finne soenna arulana kalem kac inge — tuh ke Len lun Leum Jesus, kowos ac fah ku in insewowo kacsr oana ke kut insewowo keiwos.
15 And in this confidence it was my purpose to come to you before, that ye might receive a second benefit;
Ke sripen nga etu na lah ouinge, pwanang nga tuh akoo in fahsrot nu yuruwos meet, tuh kowos in akinsewowoyeyuk pacl luo.
16 and to go by way of you into Macedonia, and from Macedonia to come again to you, and by you to be forwarded on my way to Judaea.
Mweyen nga lumahla tari ngan mutwata yuruwos ke fahsr se luk nu Macedonia, ac sifilpa ke folok luk we me uh, tuh nga in eis kasru luk suwos nu ke fahla luk nu Judea.
17 Having, then, this purpose, did I act with levity? Or in my purposes do I resolve according to the flesh, that with me there should be now yea, yea, and now nay, nay?
Ke nga ako ouinge, ya kowos nunku mu nga oana mwet ma sa in ekulla nunak la uh? Pacl nga oru pwapa luk uh, ya nga oru ke lungse luk sifacna, akola na in fahk, “Aok, aok” meet, na tok nga ekulla fahk mu “Mo, mo?”
18 But as God is faithful, our word to you is not yea and nay.
A oana ke God El pwaye ke ma El fahk uh, wulela luk nu suwos tiana “Aok’ ac oayapa “Mo.”
19 For the Son of God, Christ Jesus, who was preached among you by us, by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not found yea and nay, but in him hath been found yea.
Tuh Jesus Christ, Wen nutin God, su nga ac Silas ac Timothy tuh luti nu suwos kacl, el tia sie su sisani “Aok” ac “Mo.” Pacl nukewa el “Aok” na.
20 For as to all the promises of God, in him is yea, and in him amen, to the glory of God through us.
Mweyen el pa “Aok” nu ke wuleang nukewa lun God. Ke ma inge kut fahk “Amen” inen Jesus Christ, nu ke wolana lun God.
21 Now he who maketh us with you steadfast in Christ, and anointed us, is God;
God sifacna pa akkeye kut oayapa kowos ke kut kupasryang nu sin Christ. God sifacna pa srikutelik,
22 he who also sealed us, and gave the Spirit as a pledge in our hearts.
ac filiya sie mwe akul facsr in akkalemye lah kut ma lal, ac El ase Ngun Mutal in oan insiasr tuh in mwe akpwayei ke ma nukewa su El akoela nu sesr.
23 But I call upon God as a witness against my soul, that it was to spare you that I came no more to Corinth;
Nga pang nu sin God tuh El etu nunak lun insiuk! Nga tuh tila fahsrot nu Corinth ke sripen nga tia lungse akelyaye kowos.
24 not that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy. For in respect to faith ye stand firm.
Kut tia srike in sapkin ma kowos in lulalfongi; kut etu lah kowos tu ku in lulalfongi. A kut wi kowos orekma, tuh in mwe akenganye kowos.
