2 Corinthians 11
1 Would that ye could bear with me in a little folly! and indeed ye do bear with me.
Oxalá me supportasseis um pouco na minha loucura! Supportae-me, porém, ainda.
2 For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy; for I espoused you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ;
Porque estou zeloso de vós com zelo de Deus: porque vos tenho preparado para vos apresentar como uma virgem pura a um marido, a saber, a Christo.
3 but I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve by his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from single-heartedness toward Christ.
Mas temo que, assim como a serpente enganou Eva com a sua astucia, assim tambem sejam de alguma sorte corrompidos os vossos sentidos, e se apartem da simplicidade que ha em Christo.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye did not receive, or another gospel, which ye did not accept, well might ye bear with it.
Porque, se alguem viesse prégar-vos outro Jesus que nós não temos prégado, ou recebesseis outro espirito que não recebestes, ou outro evangelho que não abraçastes, com razão o soffrerieis.
5 For I suppose that I am in no respect behind the very foremost apostles.
Porque penso que em nada fui inferior aos mais excellentes apostolos.
6 And though I am rude in speech, yet I am not in knowledge; but this did we in every respect manifest to you in all things.
E, se tambem sou rude na palavra, não o sou comtudo na sciencia; mas já em tudo nos temos feito conhecer totalmente entre vós.
7 Did I commit an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I preached to you the gospel of God without charge?
Pequei porventura, humilhando-me a mim mesmo, para que vós fosseis exaltados, porque de graça vos annunciei o evangelho de Deus?
8 I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, in order to do you service;
Outras egrejas despojei eu para vos servir, recebendo d'ellas salario; e quando estava presente comvosco, e tinha necessidade, a ninguem fui pesado.
9 and when I was present with you, and in want, I was a charge to no one; (for the brethren, when they came from Macedonia, supplied my wants; ) and in every thing I kept myself and will keep myself from being burdensome to you.
Porque os irmãos que vieram da Macedonia suppriram a minha necessidade; e em tudo me guardei de vos ser pesado, e ainda me guardarei.
10 As the truth of Christ is in me, this boasting shall not be stopped in regard to me in the regions of Achaia.
A verdade de Christo está em mim; que esta gloria não me será impedida nas regiões da Achaia.
11 Wherefore? Because I love you not? God knoweth!
Porque? Porque vos não amo? Deus o sabe.
12 But what I do, that I will continue to do, that I may cut off occasion from those who wish for an occasion, in order that in the matter of which they boast they may be found even as we.
Mas eu o faço, e o farei, para cortar occasião aos que buscam occasião, para que, n'aquillo em que se gloriam, sejam achados assim como nós.
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
Porque taes falsos apostolos são obreiros fraudulentos, transfigurando-se em apostolos de Christo.
14 And no wonder; for even Satan transformeth himself into an angel of light.
E não é maravilha, porque o proprio Satanaz se transfigura em anjo de luz.
15 It is no great thing, then, if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Não é muito pois que os seus ministros se transfigurem em ministros da justiça, o fim dos quaes será conforme as suas obras.
16 I say again, let no one suppose me a fool; if otherwise, yet even as a fool receive me, that I too may boast myself a little.
Outra vez digo: ninguem me julgue insensato, ou então recebei-me como insensato, para que tambem me glorie um pouco.
17 What I speak, I speak not after the Lord, but as it were in folly, in this confidence of boasting.
O que digo, não o digo segundo o Senhor, mas como por loucura n'esta confiança de gloria.
18 Seeing that many boast after the flesh, I will boast also.
Pois que muitos se gloriam segundo a carne, eu tambem me gloriarei.
19 For ye bear with fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise;
Porque, sendo sensatos, de boamente toleraes os insensatos.
20 for ye bear with it, if one brings you into bondage, if one devours you, if one takes from you, if one exalts himself, if one smites you on the face.
Pois o toleraes, se alguem vos põe em servidão, se alguem vos devora, se alguem vos apanha, se alguem se exalta, se alguem vos fere no rosto.
21 I say it to my reproach, that we were weak; but in whatever any one is bold, (I speak in folly, ) I am bold also.
Para affronta o digo, como se nós fossemos fracos, mas no que qualquer tem ousadia (com insensatez fallo) tambem eu tenho ousadia.
22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they Abram's offspring? So am I.
São hebreos? tambem eu; são israelitas? tambem eu; são descendencia de Abrahão? tambem eu;
23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as beside myself, ) I am more; in labors more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often;
São ministros de Christo? (fallo como fóra de mim) eu ainda mais; em trabalhos, muito mais; em açoites, mais do que elles; em prisões, muito mais, em perigo de morte muitas vezes.
24 of the Jews five times I received forty stripes save one;
Recebi dos judeos cinco quarentenas de açoites menos um.
25 thrice I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have spent in the deep;
Tres vezes fui açoitado com varas, uma vez fui apedrejado, tres vezes soffri naufragio, uma noite e um dia passei no abysmo.
26 by journeyings often; by perils of rivers, by perils of robbers, by perils from my countrymen, by perils from the heathen, by perils in the city, by perils in the wilderness, by perils in the sea, by perils among false brethren;
Em viagens muitas vezes, em perigos de rios, em perigos de salteadores, em perigos dos da minha nação, em perigos dos gentios, em perigos na cidade, em perigos no deserto, em perigos no mar, em perigos entre os falsos irmãos.
27 by weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
Em trabalhos e fadiga, em vigilias muitas vezes, em fome e sêde, em jejum muitas vezes, em frio e nudez.
28 Besides the other troubles, there is that which presseth upon me daily, the anxiety for all the churches.
Além das coisas exteriores, me sobrevem cada dia o cuidado de todas as egrejas.
29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is in danger of stumbling, and I do not burn?
Quem enfraquece, que eu tambem não enfraqueça? Quem se escandaliza, que eu me não abraze?
30 If I must boast, I will boast of the things which belong to my weakness.
Se convém gloriar-me, gloriar-me-hei das coisas da minha fraqueza.
31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I am not lying. (aiōn g165)
O Deus e Pae de Nosso Senhor Jesus Christo, que é eternamente bemdito, sabe que não minto. (aiōn g165)
32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept guard over the city of the Damascenes, in order to apprehend me;
Em Damasco, o governador sob o rei Aretas poz guardas ás portas da cidade dos damascenos, para me prenderem.
33 and through a window I was let down in a basket by the wall, and escaped his hands.
E fui descido n'um cesto por uma janella da muralha; e assim escapei das suas mãos.
